Grow4ever Hey everyone! I know im late XD Big thanks to Zamnesia and Plagron for supporting this run and making this grow possible β€” really stoked to be part of the Eternity Grow Cup 2026! My first cup. Here's a quick breakdown of my setup: Substrate Mix (40L pots): BioBizz Light Mix as the base, amended with worm castings for a rich microbial foundation, buffered coco coir for improved water retention and structure, and perlite for drainage and aeration. Charged biochar has been added to the mix as well β€” acting as a long-term microbial habitat and improving nutrient retention throughout the run. I've also incorporated Biotabs for a slow-release organic feeding programme, and dolomite lime to buffer pH and keep calcium/magnesium levels stable. The goal is to keep things as close to living soil principles as possible. First photos are now up. Let's see what this run brings! Thanks a lot for reading and good luck to all participants 🌱

Grow4ever The first real leafpair is buildung up. Looks healthy so far. Courently only reverse osmosis water with a little bio bizz root juice. I put some perlite as topping for pest control and better water storage.

Grow4ever Week 2. Steady and good growth. Most of the first leafs are little deformed, but the third node is coming clean so far. Overall i think she looks really good for week 2.

Grow4ever Week 3 continued with good and steady growth. Yesterday I started to train the plants head with LST to the back for more even canopy in the end. Also i switched the bottom layer from perlite to quartz sand for pest prevention and moister.

Grow4ever Week 4. I really like her veg growth, my lst training plan works out so far. I get a lot of nodes coming up for maximum space later. Still watering just with osmosis water. She became a bush real fast. So far so good. Dont mind my hygrometer, since last watering it got wet.

Grow4ever Week 5 β€” Even Canopy, Big Potential Probably one of the best development I've seen from an automatic so far, really stoked with how she's coming along. The training has paid off, the canopy is sitting almost perfectly level across the whole plant. She took every bend and tuck without skipping a beat. Today I did a light trim, removed the lower branches that were never going to see real light and cleaned up a few leaves to improve airflow. Nothing heavy, just redirecting her energy to where it counts. Also gave her a small first dose of Plagron Green Sensation. Keeping it on the low end though, I'm running an organic soil setup and I dont want to stress the microbiology in there. Just a gentle support going into the stretch, not a push. The canopy is honestly begging for a SCROG net right now, it would fill one perfectly. I'm still on the fence though, mainly because I like being able to rotate the pot freely while watering. A net would kill that flexibility. Might regret it later, might not, we'll see. Either way, the structure is there. Can't wait to watch her explode over the next few weeks. 🌿

Grow4ever Week 6. She is going further into flower. I've got a lot of upcoming budsides, so i had to check out which buds looked promising. The overgrown smaller ones got cut down. Also i gave some mills organic fertilizer to feed my soil for flower. Overall i think she has great canopy. Cant wait to see it with big buds on it πŸŒ³πŸ€ Thanks for checking out and I wish you a relaxed sunday eveningπŸ™

Grow4ever Week 7 of bloom continued steady. I gave her osmosis water with some biobizz alg a mic. She is really thirsty, i water every two days with around 4L. Also i switched to a oscillating fan for more airflow in the tent.

Grow4ever Week 8. The buds are getting bigger and the smell stronger. Overall she has some great main colas and a lot of other big buds coming up. Think it will be one of the biggest auto harvest for me so far. I noticed some brown necrotic spots on some upperleafs and gave some biobizz cal/mag, because my guess is, the Ca could be little low.

Grow4ever Week 9. I start to notice a sweet lemon smell and the buds begin to show brown pistils. I think in 2–3 weeks she should be ready for harvest. And honestly, I'm really impressed by the canopy so far β€” I love opening the tent every time. She is also coming to the end of her life cycle and starts drawing nutrients from older leaves. She might get one more round of organic bloom fertilizer. Can't wait to chop and taste her.

She really had great growth, she used the space of 60x60 perfectly. The final weight is being updated after drying.

Grow4ever Week 10 - Harvest In the last week i let the soil dryout for a little stress simulation, honestly a little to much. She turned yellow in 2-3 days after last watering. I was a little shocked how fast that went down. But in the end she survived it and developed some great aromatic buds, smells sweet right now and im waiting for the end of drying and curing for an final update. Thanks to Zamnesia and Plagron for sponsoring this Contest!

Is the perlite on top against the flies and other little buggers, if yes, does that work to your satisfaction? was contemplating to do that as well and was curious if it is actually working?

@Grow4ever, quartz sand, nice one. Does the water go through it easily, Im asking as im usually watering 10+ liters at the same time?
Grow4ever
Grow4ever commented1mo ago
@Salokin,the runoff is smooth as long as you go with coarse-grained quartz sand, fine sand can compact over time and slow things down a bit. I use a watering can with a rose head adapter, which spreads the water more gently and keeps the sand layer intact. But for 10L the watering process could take some time i guess.

@Grow4ever, well noted on the coarse grained sand, thank you, i guess ill try on one pot. Not having issues right now, but had some in the past due to the location of my grow room
