wolfvb π± The RS11 Project: Part 2! | Ganja Farmer Seedbank Test Run (Variant C) π
Whatβs up, GrowDiaries fam! π Welcome to the other half of my exclusive test run for the Canna Community Germany and Ganja Farmer Seedbank!
If you haven't seen my other diary yet, I've been trusted with an awesome comparative grow project.
The Mission
Ganja Farmer is testing out two different genetic lines of their RS11 (Rainbow Sherbet). This diary is completely dedicated to tracking Variant C, which will be going head-to-head against Variant B to see which one performs best!
As promised to the breeders, I am 100% committed to taking both of these ladies all the way to harvest and documenting every step of the journey for the community. π€
The Setup & Game Plan βΊβοΈ
Breeder: Ganja Farmer Seedbank
Strain: RS11 (Rainbow Sherbet) - Variant C
Medium: Plagron Cocos Premium
Environment: Starting Indoor (Tent) β‘οΈ Moving Outdoor
Current Status: Direct to Medium! π§
Just like Variant B, I'm keeping the germination process simple and natural. The seeds went straight into the Plagron Cocos!
My strategy here mirrors what I'm doing with my Khalifa Kush: we are starting safely inside the tent to build up some strong roots and early growth. Once the Berlin weather finally decides to warm up and stay consistent, these girls are getting moved outside under the real sun.
Huge shoutout to the Canna Community and Ganja Farmer for bringing me onboard for this project. Let the battle of the phenotypes begin!
Pop Time: 3 days
Drop a follow on both diaries to see which variant comes out on top! πΏπ¨

wolfvb What's up, GrowDiaries fam! π
Welcome to Week 1 of the RS11 Variant C test run! π She officially broke ground and is looking super healthy. As you can see from the pics, the cotyledons are fully open and those first beautiful serrated true leaves are soaking up the light. π±
She's settling nicely into the Plagron Cocos Premium. Right now, she's still chilling safely inside the tent while we wait for the Berlin weather to cooperate and warm up enough for the big move outdoors. βοΈβΊ I put a little support wire next to her just to keep her stable as she stretches out and builds up that stem.
No heavy feeding yet, just keeping the coco nicely moist to let that taproot dig deep and establish a strong foundation. π§
So far, Variant C is off to a wonderful start. I can't wait to see how she compares to Variant B as the weeks go on! Let the battle of the phenotypes continue! π₯
Thanks for following along, and shoutout again to the Canna Community Germany and Ganja Farmer Seedbank!

wolfvb What's up, GrowDiaries fam! π Welcome to a brand new diary! This time we are bringing up a little R.S. 11 "C" (Rainbow Sherbert #11)! π
If you're looking at these pictures and thinking she looks a little tiny for that big fabric pot, you're not wrong! π
πΏ Development & Structure:
She is obviously still just a young seedling working on her first few sets of true leaves. So, why the huge home already? I'll admit it I got way too excited while transplanting the Khalifa Kush and ended up just moving this little lady way early right along with her! π Sheβs got a little piece of wire by the base just to keep her steady, but right now, sheβs mainly just working on spreading her little taproot down into that massive ocean of substrate.
π§ Nutrient & Water Log:
She just got a light misting/drink, as you can see by the fresh water droplets resting on the leaves. π¦ With a pot this big and a root system this small, the main priority right now is extreme watering discipline. I have to be super careful not to soak the entire medium and drown her out. I'm just giving her exactly what she needs right around the base so she can establish herself without sitting in a swamp.
βΊ Environment & Health:
Despite the premature move, her overall health is looking fantastic! The leaves are a vibrant, healthy green, she's praying slightly up to the light, and she doesn't seem stressed by the early transplant at all. The fabric pot will ensure she gets plenty of oxygen to the root zone while she figures things out in her giant new bedroom.
It's going to take her a minute to grow into these shoes, but I know she's going to explode once those roots really grab hold!
Let me know what you guys think of my impatient transplanting in the comments! π Happy growing and stay frosty! π²π₯

wolfvb π± Week 3: RS11 (C) is Reaching for the Light! βοΈ
What's growing on, GrowDiaries fam! π Following up on her sister, here is the Week 3 update for the RS11 (Variant C) from Ganja Farmer Seedbank!
While Variant B is bushing out, Variant C seems to be stretching her legs a little more! It is always fascinating to see the slight phenotypic differences between seeds of the same strain.
Growth & Development πΏ
She has a slightly more open structure with a bit more internodal stretch compared to her sister, but her vigor is just as impressive! Those fan leaves are getting huge and soaking up all the light from the LED. The new growth in the center is a beautifully bright, healthy green. Just like with Variant B, Iβve placed a wire anchor at the base of her main stem. We are getting that foundation nice and sturdy, prepping for some Low Stress Training (LST) to help manage her canopy in the coming weeks.
Environment & Feeding βΊπ§
She is absolutely loving the Plagron Cocos Premium substrate. The BioBizz and Plagron nutrient combo is doing wonders no signs of tip burn, deficiencies, or stress. She's drinking steadily, which tells me she's building a really solid root mass down in that fabric pot.
The Master Plan βοΈ
The goal remains the same: veg her indoors, build up a thick, resilient main stalk, and get her ready to face the elements once the Berlin weather fully cooperates for her outdoor transition!
I'm really enjoying watching the differences between C and B develop. Which structure do you guys prefer so far? Let me know in the comments!
Big thanks to the Canna Community Germany and Ganja Farmer Seedbank for making this run possible! π€

wolfvb π± RS11 (Variant C) Update: Stretching Out and Stacking Up! π
What's growing on, GrowDiaries fam! π Welcome back to the tent for the latest update on the RS11 (Variant C) from Ganja Farmer Seedbank!
While her sister (Variant B) has been staying low and bushy, Variant C is really showing off her vertical vigor. She is reaching for those LEDs and stretching out beautifully!
Growth & Structure πΏ
She has established a really strong, sturdy main stalk and is exhibiting a much more open structure than Variant B. Just look at the tight node stacking happening right at the top! The new growth tips are a vibrant, healthy lime green, and those massive fan leaves have incredible ridging and texture. She is praying perfectly to the light, which is exactly what we want to see.
Health & Vigor β¨
Her health is absolutely flawless right now. (Don't let that yellow leaf in the background of the second photo fool youβthat belongs to her neighbor! π). Variant C herself is a lush, uniform green from top to bottom. She's loving the Plagron Cocos Premium and whatever nutrient mix you are currently dialing in.
Looking Ahead π
Because she is putting on some decent vertical height, this might be the perfect window to start introducing some Low Stress Training (LST) or even consider a topping to break that apical dominance and encourage her side branches to catch up.
I am absolutely loving this pheno hunt and seeing the structural differences between the two sisters.
Huge shoutout to the Canna Community Germany and Ganja Farmer Seedbank! π€
Happy growing, everyone! βοΈπ¨

What's growing on, GrowDiaries fam! π To wrap up this week's updates, let's take a look at the taller sister: RS11 (Variant C) from Ganja Farmer Seedbank!
Just like Variant B, this girl has been soaking up the indoor LED rays to build a massive foundation before her upcoming migration to the great outdoors.
Update: 27.4
She and her sister with the Khalifa Kush got evected today to the balcony to start their new life .
1.5
She and her sister are enjoying the outdoors, I don't see anything no they seem to be not bothered and enjoying it outside.
Measuring Up & Stretching Out ππΏ
I broke out the folding ruler for her as well! While Variant B stayed low and stocky at 33cm, Variant C is really showing off her vertical vigor, stretching all the way up to the 43-44cm mark! She has a much more open structure with wider internodal spacing. The stems are incredibly thick, showing off those cool purple stripes, and the new growth tips are reaching perfectly for the light.
LST & Canopy Work π
Because she is stretching taller, I've started applying the green LST clips to her mid and lower branches. The goal here is to gently bend them outward, opening up her structure even more and allowing light to penetrate down into the center of the plant. She is responding to the training beautifully.
Tent Guardians πΆπ·οΈ
I see the tattooed baby doll security team has expanded! Now she has two little guardians holding it down in the pot, making sure no pests get any bright ideas before the outdoor move. π
The Outdoor Transition π€οΈ?
The Berlin weather is finally warming up, and the sun is out! Both RS11 sisters are incredibly healthy, well-rooted, and structurally sound enough to handle the outdoor breezes. In the coming days, they will be transitioning out of the tent to live out the rest of their journey under natural sunlight alongside the others.
I'm fascinated to see how these two different phenotypes respond to the sun. Which structure do you guys think will thrive the most outdoors the short/bushy B, or the tall/open C? Let me know in the comments!
Huge thanks to the Canna Community Germany and Ganja Farmer Seedbank! π€

wolfvb πΏ RS11 "C" - Reaching for the Sky! βοΈβ¬οΈ
Welcome to Week 6! RS11 "C" has settled into her outdoor spot and is showing some serious vertical stretch. Sheβs looking incredibly healthy, vibrant, and loving the fresh air.
π The Details / Progress Report:
Vertical Growth: This girl is reaching straight up! She has a beautifully tall, more natural structure right now, with those top nodes really stretching out to soak up the light. π
Foliage & Color: The fan leaves are massive with a rich, deep green color. You can really see the contrast with the bright, vibrant light green new growth bursting from the top shoots a clear sign she is in a phase of rapid, active vegetative growth. πΏ
Stem Details: Looking closely at the structure, there is some really prominent and beautiful dark purple/red striping along the stems and petioles (leaf stalks). Her main stalk is thickening up nicely to support her height.
Environment: She looks perfectly happy in her fabric pot out on the patio right next to her sister (RS11 "B" peeking in the last shot!). The leaves are perky and praying slightly upward.
π§ Next Steps:
With this kind of strong upward momentum, the plan is to just let her keep soaking up that sunshine and doing her thing. Depending on how tall you want her to get, she's setting up a great frame for some massive colas down the line.
Let's keep it growing! π±π¨

wolfvb πΏ RS11 "C" - Hitting New Heights! ππ
Welcome to Week 7! This update is a great mix of yesterday's daytime progress checks and some awesome nighttime flash photography. RS11 "C" is on an absolute mission right now and showing incredible vigor out on the patio.
π The Details / Progress Report:
Measuring Up: Brought out the folding ruler for a daytime check, and wow! She is pushing right up to the 79-80cm mark. That is some serious vertical stretching for this stage. She is building a tall, dominant main stalk to support that top canopy. πβ¬οΈ
Day & Night Contrast: In the daylight, you can see those top fan leaves actively praying upwards towards the sun. The new growth at the apex is a beautiful, vibrant light green. βοΈ
In the nighttime flash shots, you really get to see the deep, rich, leathery texture of the older fan leaves. The flash highlights just how lush and healthy her foliage is no signs of stress, just pure growth. πΈβ¨
Structure: She has a very classic, upright structure right now. While she's getting tall, those lower lateral branches are steadily stretching out to catch the light, filling in the lower half of the plant nicely.
Roots & Home: She looks perfectly content in her fabric pot. The dark, rich soil is clearly providing everything she needs to fuel this rapid upward mobility.
π§ Next Steps:
With her hitting the 80cm mark and still stretching, the main thing to watch out for is wind on the patio as she gets taller, making sure she has a strong enough base to handle the breeze is key. (That's why I was pasting them with the fan in the tent ) Otherwise, I'm just going to keep up the current feed schedule, as she is clearly loving it!
Let's keep it growing! π±π¨

Welcome to Week 8! RS11 "C" is absolutely loving the outdoor balcony life, and she has decided that the only way is up. The vegetative stretch on this girl is incredible right now!
π The Details / Progress Report:
Measuring Up: Brought the folding ruler back out, and she has shot up immensely since last week! She is pushing right past the 95cm mark. She has incredible vertical momentum and is well on her way to hitting a full meter tall very soon. πβ¬οΈ
Stem & Structure: To support all that height, she is building an incredibly thick foundation. Looking at those close-ups of the lower stalk, you can see how robust and woody the base is getting, complete with some nice natural purple striping. She is more than ready to handle the outdoor breezes. ?π¨
Foliage Health: The fan leaves are huge, deeply serrated, and sporting a perfectly healthy, rich dark green. The top canopy is continuing to pray beautifully toward the sun, showing she is perfectly dialed in with her current environment and feed.
π§ Next Steps:
Since she is getting so tall, the main thing to watch out for this week is the wind but her stalk looks plenty strong to handle it. I'm just going to keep up with the current schedule, let her soak up the sunshine, and see if she clears that 100cm milestone by the next update!
Let's keep it growing! π±π¨

Welcome to Week 9! We are officially in the ninth week, and RS11 "C" has completely blasted past the one-meter milestone. She is an absolute giant out on the balcony right now!
π The Details / Progress Report:
Towering Height: Clocking in at exactly 108cm, she is officially the tall sister of the bunch! The vertical stretch on this girl is wild, with long internodal spacing as she reaches straight up for that sunshine. β¬οΈ
Foliage & Canopy: Even with all that height, she is supporting massive, sweeping fan leaves that are beautifully textured and soaking up the bright afternoon rays. The top canopy is praying nicely and looks extremely healthy. π
Structural Support: Being this tall and lanky means she catches a lot of the breeze. That support stake anchored at the base of the fabric pot is doing crucial work right now, keeping her main stalk stable as she continues her upward climb. ?
π§ Next Steps:
With her sitting at 108cm, wind management is the absolute top priority. I will be making sure her base remains super secure in the pot so she doesn't topple over. Other than that, the plan is to keep up the outdoor feeding schedule she is clearly using every drop of it to fuel this massive vertical growth!

Welcome to Week 10! The RS11 "C" is absolutely refusing to slow down. She is putting on a vertical growth display that is genuinely wild to watch this girl is going completely crazy out on the balcony!
π The Details / Progress Report:
Breaking Records: We brought the tape measure back out, and she has shot up to an incredible 135cm! π She is packing on massive height every single week, with long internodal spacing as she races straight up toward the sun.
Foliage Health: Despite pushing all that energy into vertical growth, her foliage looks flawless. The fan leaves are huge, beautifully textured, and rocking a perfectly healthy, vibrant green. She is clearly thriving in the fresh air and natural sunlight. π
Natural Evolution: We are seeing some very natural wear and tear and slight fading on those bottom-most, oldest leaves. This is perfectly normal for a plant this tall she is shedding the shaded lower growth and redirecting all her power straight to that towering top canopy. πβ‘οΈβ¬οΈ
Structural Support: At 135cm, wind management is critical. That support stake anchored into the pot is doing the heavy lifting right now, keeping her sturdy as she continues her upward climb.
π§ Next Steps:
With a plant this tall, the game plan is mostly about structural security. I'll be keeping a very close eye on the weather forecast; if we get any heavy winds, she might need an extra tie or some protection so she doesn't topple. For now, she is loving her outdoor feed schedule and using every drop to fuel this massive stretch.
Let's see if she hits the 150cm mark! Let's keep it growing! π±π¨

Welcome to Week 11! RS11 "C" continues her reign as the absolute titan of the balcony. She is towering over everything else and establishing herself as a true outdoor beast!
π The Details / Progress Report:
Towering Canopy: Just looking at that full shot by the red railing, her size is incredible! She is still stretching beautifully but is really starting to fill out her lateral branches now, creating a wonderfully thick, multi-topped structure. π³
Biological Defenders: Good eye spotting that Biobest sachet hanging in the branches! It is a brilliant move to deploy some biological helpers out here too. Keeping the canopy protected with preventative predators is the perfect way to keep outdoor pests at bay when a plant gets this big and bushy. π‘οΈπ
Foliage & Natural Fade: The upper canopy is a stunning, vibrant, healthy green. Down below on the main stalk, we are seeing a little bit of spotting and natural fade on those oldest, lowest fan leaves. This is completely normal for a plant this massive she is simply shedding the shaded lower growth and pushing all her energy straight to that towering top canopy. πβ‘οΈβ¬οΈ
Balcony Companions: She looks incredibly happy in her breathable fabric pot alongside the tomatoes and other companion plants. The Berlin summer weather is clearly agreeing with her! π βοΈ
π§ Next Steps:
Managing her height against the wind remains the number one priority. As she continues to bush out, I'll be keeping the area around her base clean and maybe plucking off those fully crisped lower leaves just to ensure maximum airflow around the bottom of the stalk. Otherwise, she is absolutely thriving on her current outdoor regimen!
Let's keep it growing! π±π¨
