Hempcules Week 1
The first week of my plant went smoothly and without any problems. I first soaked the seed in water for 24 hours and then placed it between moist paper towels until it germinated. That happened very quickly — in under 48 hours. After that, things continued nicely. The plant developed its first pair of leaves and didn’t stretch upwards. For now, it’s focusing on developing a strong root system.
I planted my seedling in a 15L fabric pot filled with a mix of Plagron Growmix and Plagron Lightmix in a 70/30 ratio. I keep my VPD at around 0.6 kPa and have only watered using a spray bottle.

Hempcules Week 2
So far, things are going really well with my plant. It seems to have rooted nicely and is slowly starting to take off with its growth. There haven’t been any problems at all up to this point. I’ve only watered with plain water from a spray bottle whenever the soil became slightly dry. I gradually increased my lamp intensity to 150 PPFD, and this week I kept my VPD around 0.8 kPa.
Right now everything looks great for building a solid foundation for healthy vegetative growth. Over the next few weeks, I’m definitely planning at least one topping and some additional training. I’m already excited to see how well this genetic line handles it.

Hempcules WEEK 3
Everything continued to go very well this week, and the plant has gained a lot of volume and strength. The leaves look very healthy, and overall everything seems to be in good shape. Next week the training will begin. I’ve increased the light and VPD accordingly this week. I’m excited to see how things will progress from here.

Hempcules WEEK 4
This week quite a bit has happened. At the beginning of the week, I topped the plant in a way that left 10 side shoots. In the past, this has worked very well with automatics and gave them a nice shape. This plant, however, didn’t handle it quite as well. The shoots developed rather unevenly after topping, and LST might have been the better choice. To reduce the plant’s stress, I applied boomboom spray after topping. Other than that, she’s in excellent health and there’s nothing to complain about. She’s growing fast and strong, just as she should.

Hempcules WEEK 5
This last week of vegetation went pretty well for my Zoapaya. It didn’t react very well to topping and ended up with a rather unbalanced structure. Still, a few strong shoots managed to establish themselves.
The single feeding this week was probably a bit too early for her, but I think she’ll handle it.
Over the course of the week, I lightly trimmed and defoliated the lower area to keep the focus on the good shoots.
By the end of the week, I was also able to spot the first pistils. I’m now looking forward to the flowering phase and hope the stretch won’t get too wild.

Hempcules WEEK 6
This week went pretty well. The plant has put on a good amount of height and focused its energy on five main shoots. I removed a few shoots and leaves at the bottom, but otherwise it’s growing quite nicely.
Starting the nutrients early doesn’t seem to have been a good idea this time — the fertilizer läßt week was still a bit too strong for this stage. But I managed to get things under control quickly with plenty of water.
The stem looks solid, and overall there’s nothing to complain about so far. I was hoping for more large shoots, but I think this setup could still turn out really well. It remains exciting 🙂

Hempcules WEEK 7
Things are still going pretty well with my plant. It has gained a good amount of height, but by now it’s slowly shifting its focus toward bud production.
Overall, it looks very healthy and there are no major issues — except for the hermaphroditic neighboring plant. 😑 I hope it will still turn out alright.

Hempcules WEEK 8
My Zoapaya is growing quite nicely and isn’t giving me any problems.
It has also become very tall, but in return it has very strong and stable shoots.
I’ll increase the nutrient supply from now on and hope that beautiful flowers will develop over the next few weeks.
