Bud_Wiser I am dealing with summer conditions, with temps staying up around 27-28C and humidity sitting between 65 and 75 percent. I bumped the feed up to 1.1 EC from 0.9. Growth is on track, and the plant is maintaining an even size compared to the other top performers. I will be increasing the PPFD next week.

Bud_Wiser Dark Devil Auto (Sweet Seeds) – Day 21 The biggest plant in the tent. Growing flawlessly and still vegging with no pistils showing yet. Upped her watering volume to 2000ml to support her large frame. Input EC is now increased to 1.3. Sitting at a 20–30% runoff with a runoff EC at 1.4. Humidity shifted to 60–65% with stable temperatures.

Bud_Wiser Showing explosive structural growth, but feeling the summer heat. The heatwave has triggered a few stress responses in this girl. She is currently showing some distinct leaf clawing and slightly burned tips, likely a mix of transpiration stress from the high temps and the recent nutrient increase. Watering & Feed: Increased watering volume to 2500ml to prevent the medium from drying out too fast. Input EC was raised to 1.5 with runoff at 1.3, but I will monitor her closely to see if I need to back off her feed slightly until the heat breaks. Environment: pH is holding steady at 5.78. Kept the lights at 400–500 PPFD (33–40 DLI) to avoid compounding the heat stress with excessive light intensity.

Bud_Wiser Week 5 is officially here, and the first signs of bud formation mean we are formally in Week 1 of flower! The plant experienced explosive growth over the last seven days, but environmental conditions have become a challenge due to a major heatwave sweeping through Germany. Tent temperatures are currently soaring to 30–32°C during the day and staying at 26–28°C at night. This heat stress has caused some slight leaf droopiness, but the plant is pushing through bravely. In response, I lowered the humidity to 60–65% for the flowering stage and did a very light, cautious defoliation to clear up the canopy without triggering unwanted stress during her stretch phase. With the onset of flowering, I have updated the nutrition regimen by adding Plagron Power Buds to the feeding schedule to maximize her upcoming flower clusters and bud sites. The stretch phase has been remarkably explosive this week, with new flowering sites popping up all over the canopy. While the high daytime temperatures have triggered a mild droop, her overall color and health look great. I tucked a few large fan leaves and removed minimal lower foliage to keep air moving effectively around her.

Bud_Wiser The Dark Devil has put on a significant amount of height, though the vertical stretch is finally starting to slow down now. This was the first plant to show sex, leading the transition into the flowering stage. It is responding well to the introduction of Plagron Green Sensation and the recent EC increase to 1.6. The bottom of the plant was defoliated to make watering easier, alongside some selective defoliation on the canopy. However, just two days later at the time the photos were taken, the canopy has already grown back into a thick hedge. While the previous 32°C tent temperatures caused some residual twisting on the leaves, the cooler weather and the increase to 3L of daily watering with 10% runoff have helped the plant recover. It is currently thriving under a targeted DLI within the 35 to 45 range.

Bud_Wiser Dark Devil Auto is at week 7 and has finished its third week of flowering. Yesterday a major defoliation was performed, removing 50% of the foliage and 30% of the branches. Some more branches had to be bent because they stretched too much. This plant is the most advanced in flowering and is already stacking on resin on the sugar leaves. The plant is throwing pistils everywhere and has shown no signs of stress for the past 24 hours, praying to the light nicely. She is receiving an increased nutrient dose of 2.0 EC and a DLI of 40-50. A new camera is being used for this update, so apologies for trying to figure out what is what as photos may not be ideal, though they should be much better than past diaries.

Bud_Wiser We are cruising along with zero changes to her treatment as she gets the exact same care as last week. She is bulking up beautifully and putting on a great show with rapid bud stacking across the sites. Feeding is locked in at three liters per twenty-four hours to fuel the flower development. The climate in the tent has stabilized beautifully now that the intense heatwave in Germany has cleared out and the DLI is hovering perfectly between 45 and 55. On top of the great structure she is already smelling great with a very unique terpene profile developing.
