CannaArchive After a smooth germination phase, the Chicken n Wafflez #2 transitioned very confidently into its first week of vegetative growth. From early on the plant showed a compact and sturdy structure with tight internodal spacing and healthy symmetrical leaf development. 💚 The first true leaves developed quickly and the stem thickened up nicely throughout the week. Compared to the other young plants in the tent, the Chicken n Wafflez #2 appeared very stable and balanced with healthy vibrant coloration and steady daily growth. 🌿 Environmental conditions remained stable around 23–25°C with elevated humidity during the early part of the week before gradually lowering into a more comfortable vegetative range. Lighting was provided by the Spider Farmer SE5000 running high above the canopy at softer intensity levels around 150 PPFD on an 18/6 schedule. Gentle airflow helped strengthen the young plant without causing stress. ☀️ The coco, wormhumus, perlite and vermiculite mix continued performing very well and stayed airy while still retaining enough moisture for healthy root development. Watering remained controlled using reverse osmosis water together with CalMag Extra from Advanced Nutrients. 💧 By the end of week 1 the Chicken n Wafflez #2 already showed very healthy early vigor and developed into one of the most stable and compact young plants in the tent. ✨

CannaArchive During week 2 the Chicken #2 continued developing very steadily and showed strong healthy vegetative growth throughout the entire week. 🌱✨ The plant stayed compact with tight internodal spacing while producing increasingly larger fan leaves and a noticeably thicker stem. Growth remained very balanced overall and the structure became bushier as new growth accelerated during the week. The healthy green coloration stayed consistent and the plant reacted very positively to the stable environment and coco-based medium. 🌿💚 Environmental conditions remained stable with controlled watering using reverse osmosis water together with CalMag Extra. The substrate continued drying back evenly and allowed healthy root development while the Spider Farmer SE5000 provided gentle but consistent lighting for early vegetation. 💧☀️ By the end of week 2 the Chicken n Wafflez #2 looked vigorous, compact and very healthy overall. The root zone appeared well established and the plant was preparing nicely for transplanting during the following week. 🚀🔥

CannaArchive Week 3 marked an important step forward as the Chicken n Wafflez #2 was transplanted into a 6L fabric pot filled with a biologically active mix of BioBizz Light Mix, coco, perlite, worm castings, Startrex, Silicium Flash and BioTabs. 🌿 Before transplant, the root system had developed extremely well and showed healthy white roots throughout the root ball. The plant handled the move into the larger container very smoothly and showed little to no visible transplant stress afterwards. 💚 Growth remained compact and vigorous throughout the week with strong stem development, broad fan leaves and tight internodal spacing. New growth appeared quickly after transplant and the plant continued building a sturdy structure while establishing itself in the fresh medium. 🌱 Environmental conditions remained stable around 25.5°C and 60% relative humidity. Watering was carried out using reverse osmosis water supplemented with CalMag, while a single application of Green House Feeding Bio Enhancer was used to support microbial activity and root development. 💧 A major upgrade was also introduced this week with the installation of the Spider Farmer infrared bars. The IR schedule was configured to simulate natural sunrise and sunset conditions and will continue to be part of the lighting strategy moving forward. ☀️ By the end of Week 3, the Chicken n Wafflez #2 looked healthy, vigorous and fully settled into the new container. Strong vegetative growth and excellent structure made this one of the most successful weeks of the run so far. 🚀🔥🌱

CannaArchive The Chicken n' Waffelz had another excellent week of vegetative growth.🌱 She recovered very quickly after topping and immediately started pushing two strong new main shoots. Compared to the other plants she remained the most vigorous one, while still maintaining a compact structure with healthy internodal spacing.🌿 The stem thickened noticeably and the side branches began catching up quickly. She handled it extremely well and showed almost no signs of stress. CannaArchive This week was all about giving the plants more space to grow and preparing them for the final vegetative stage. 💚 After settling into their new environment, the Chicken n' Waffelz continued to recover well and produced plenty of healthy new growth. The biggest milestone this week was the transplant into their 20L final fabric pots. ? The soil was amended with Dynomyco Mycorrhizae, Startrex, 3 BioTabs, and Silicium Flash, creating a living organic environment for the roots to fully establish. I cleaned up the lower part of the plants by removing the lowest branches and fan leaves. This created a much cleaner structure while keeping a dense and even canopy on top. ✂️🌿 Because space became limited in the first tent, the Chicken n' Waffelz were moved into my second grow tent, where they are now growing under slightly different environmental conditions. They adapted without any issues and continued to develop vigorously throughout the week. CannaArchive This week was intentionally kept as a recovery period after last week's transplant. 🌱 Instead of introducing additional stress through training or heavy maintenance, I simply allowed Chicken n' Wafflez #2 to settle into her new container and focus on building a strong root system before the transition into flower. Looking back, the patience definitely paid off. 💚 The environment remained stable throughout the week with temperatures around 25°C and 60% relative humidity, while the light stayed at 600 PPFD. ☀️Under these conditions the plant responded very well, producing healthy, compact new growth and becoming noticeably fuller with each passing day. 🌿 Nutrient-wise, I kept things simple. She received RO water with CalMag throughout the week alongside one feeding of Orgatrex. 💧 Since the fresh substrate still contained plenty of nutrients, there was no reason to push her any harder. The steady growth confirmed that she had started establishing herself nicely in the new pot. 🌱 No training or defoliation was carried out during this week. ✂️ Instead, I wanted to give the plant enough time to fully recover before beginning flowering in Week 7. CannaArchive Chicken n' Wafflez #2 has officially entered the flowering stage! 🌸💚 The transition into bloom has been smooth, and during the first week she already started stretching nicely. 📈 Compared to some of my other plants, she remains much more compact while producing an impressive amount of side branches and future bud sites. 🌿 This phenotype has developed into a very bushy plant with a well-balanced structure. 🌱 Almost every branch has reached the canopy, creating what looks like the foundation for an even flower distribution. 🙌 The first pistils are now showing across the entire plant, confirming that flowering is fully underway. Despite the hot weather throughout the week, she remained healthy, vigorous, and showed no signs of slowing down. 🌱 Temperatures reached 28°C with humidity hovering around 60% RH, yet the plant handled these conditions without any noticeable stress. Stretch is progressing steadily, although she remains much more compact than some of the other plants in the tent. Compared to Nutter Budder, Chicken #2 has developed a bushier structure with tighter internodal spacing, creating a very even canopy with plenty of future flowering sites. The first pistils are now visible across the entire plant, and bud formation has officially begun. 🌸 Watering remained simple this week. She received reverse osmosis water supplemented with CalMag every 2-3 days, along with one feeding of BioTabs Orgatrex. Water uptake has remained consistent and the plant continues to respond very positively to the organic feeding schedule. 💧 Only a few fan leaves were removed to improve airflow and allow more light to reach the lower flowering sites. Defoliation was intentionally kept very light while the plant continues stretching. Overall, Chicken #2 is developing exactly as hoped. Environmental conditions remained unchanged, averaging 28°C and 60% relative humidity, yet she handled the stress remarkably well without showing any signs of slowed development or heat damage. 🌞 Water consumption remained noticeably lower than the other plants in the tent, requiring irrigation only once every three days. During the week she received one feeding of BioTabs Bio PK 5-8 to support flower development and one application of Bio Enhancer, while every watering consisted of reverse osmosis water supplemented with CalMag. 💧 The stretch began slowing down considerably as the plant transitioned from vertical growth into flower production. Compared to the previous week, she invested much more energy into building flower sites rather than producing additional height, resulting in a very balanced plant structure with excellent spacing between the colas. 📏 Flower development accelerated rapidly throughout the week. Every branch produced larger clusters of bright white pistils, while the main colas became noticeably thicker and started stacking very evenly from top to bottom. Even in week three, the flowers already looked surprisingly well developed and gave a good indication of their final structure. 🌸 One of the biggest highlights this week was the impressive resin production. The upper sugar leaves were already coated with a visible layer of trichomes, giving the buds a frosty appearance much earlier than expected. Considering the plants are only entering the middle stages of flowering, this is a very promising sign for resin production later on. ✨ The foliage remained healthy with a rich green colour across the canopy. Bud stacking is progressing beautifully, resin production is already ahead of schedule, and the overall plant health remains excellent. If this pace continues over the coming weeks, she has all the potential to produce dense, resin-covered flowers with exceptional bag appeal by harvest. 💚

CannaArchive The extreme heat finally disappeared this week, allowing the flowering environment to stabilize again. Temperatures returned to around 25°C with a 55% relative humidity, providing much more comfortable conditions for flower development. 🌿 Just like the other plants in the tent, the Chicken n' Waffelz #2 received a selective defoliation to improve airflow and light penetration throughout the canopy. The plant recovered almost immediately after the leaf removal and continued flowering without any noticeable stress. ✂️🍃 Nutrition remained unchanged throughout the week. One irrigation included BioTabs Orgatrex, while every other watering consisted of reverse osmosis water supplemented with CalMag. The foliage remained healthy with excellent color, indicating the organic feeding program continues to supply everything the plant requires. 💧 Unlike the taller phenotypes in the tent, Chicken n' Waffelz #2 maintained a much more compact and bushy structure. The stretch has slowed considerably, allowing the plant to redirect its energy into flower production. The canopy is filled with evenly developed tops, each beginning to stack calyxes while remaining at nearly the same height. 🌱 Resin production has become increasingly noticeable this week. Frost is already spreading across the sugar leaves surrounding the upper flowers, giving the buds a healthy crystalline appearance much earlier than expected. The aroma also continues to become stronger as the flowers gain size. ✨ The bud sites continue to expand across every branch, with fresh white pistils emerging daily. Thanks to the balanced canopy and improved airflow after defoliation, light now reaches nearly every flowering site, which should contribute to more uniform bud development during the coming weeks. Buds are steadily becoming denser, resin production is increasing every day, and the plant appears exceptionally healthy. If this pace continues through the second half of flowering, it has excellent potential to produce a canopy full of consistently sized, resin-coated flowers. ?❄️

CannaArchive Week 5 brought another nice step forward for Chicken n’ Waffelz #2.💚 The stretch is clearly behind her now and the focus has completely shifted toward flower production. The buds are starting to fill out along the branches, with the main tops becoming noticeably thicker and more defined. 🌿 One of the most noticeable developments this week is the resin production. The flowers and surrounding sugar leaves are getting increasingly covered in trichomes, giving some of the tops a really frosty appearance already. There are still plenty of fresh white pistils, so she definitely has a lot of swelling and maturation ahead of her. ❄️ The aroma is also starting to become much more interesting. At the moment she has a distinctly sweet smell that reminds me of jam or some kind of dessert. 🍓🍰 I’m really curious to see where this terpene profile goes over the next few weeks as the flowers mature. 🌡️ Temperature: ~25°C 💧 RH: ~55% 💡 Light: 900–1100 PPFD 🚿 Watering: Every 2–3 days 💧 Water: RO water + CalMag 🌱 Green House Bio PK: 1x this week 🌿 Green House BioEnhancer: 1x this week UV has now been introduced as well. Exposure is being increased by 15 minutes every three days until reaching a maximum of 60 minutes per day. No training or additional defoliation was done this week. At this point I mainly want to leave her alone and let her put her energy into building the flowers. So far there have been no visible deficiencies or other problems, and overall she continues to look healthy. Very happy with the progress in Week 5. The combination of increasing bud mass, strong resin production and that sweet jam/dessert aroma is making Chicken n’ Waffelz #2 increasingly interesting. Now it’s all about letting her stack, frost up and seeing where that aroma goes over the coming weeks. 🌱🔥

CannaArchive Week 6 was another smooth and uncomplicated week for Chicken #2. She continues to be probably the easiest plant of the whole run, requiring very little attention and showing no real problems. She received Orgatrex once this week and currently needs water around every 2–3 days. The environment remained stable at approximately 25°C and 50% RH. 🌡️ Temperature: ~25°C 💧 RH: ~50% 🚿 Watering: Every 2–3 days 🌿 Orgatrex: 1x this week Flower development continues steadily. The buds are filling out nicely across the different branches and resin production is becoming more noticeable, while there are still plenty of fresh pistils showing that she has some development ahead of her. 🌿❄️ The most interesting part right now is definitely her aroma. She has developed a very sweet, jam-like smell, which reminds me much more of the Wafflez side of the genetics. So far, I’m still missing the funky or savory “Chicken” part of the profile. 🍓?🍗 Maybe that side will appear later in flower or become more noticeable after drying and curing. For now, she remains very easy-going, healthy and consistent, not a dramatic week, but everything is moving in the right direction. 🌱💚

CannaArchive Week 7 was another pretty relaxed week for Chicken n’ Wafflez #2. Just like the Mango Sherbert and Nutter Budder, she is now entering the final stage of flowering and there really isn’t much left to do besides letting her finish. Due to the current heatwave, temperatures inside the tent were unfortunately a little higher than I would normally like. I wasn’t able to get them any lower, but overall the conditions remained stable and she handled the warmer environment without any noticeable problems. 🌡️ Temperature: ~26.5°C 💧 RH: ~52% 🚿 Watering: 2x this week 🌿 Orgatrex: 1x this week Feeding: Only CalMag from now on Visually, she continues to develop very nicely. The flowers have built up a good amount of mass and especially the larger tops are looking increasingly dense and mature. Compared to her rather open plant structure, there is actually quite a lot of flower distributed across the individual branches. The resin production is also one of the things I really like about her. ❄️ The buds and surrounding sugar leaves are heavily covered in trichomes, giving many of the flowers a very frosty appearance. More and more pistils have turned orange as well, while the calyxes continue to swell as she approaches the end. Just like with the other two plants, Orgatrex was given for the last time this week. From now on she will only receive water and CalMag until harvest. The trichomes are already progressing well, so there shouldn’t be much time left. 🔬 I’ll continue checking them closely over the coming days, but at the moment I expect her to come down around next week together with the others. For now, the main focus is simply giving her these last few days to finish properly. ?❄️ She has developed into a very resinous plant with nicely formed flowers, and I’m especially curious to see how the buds will look once they are harvested, dried and trimmed.

CannaArchive The journey with Chicken n’ Wafflez #2 has officially come to an end. ✂️🌱 The final week went very smoothly and followed pretty much the same routine as Mango Sherbert. During the last stage she only received RO water + CalMag, followed by 48 hours of complete darkness before harvest. She finished with some really nice looking flowers. Compared to Mango Sherbert, the buds were noticeably denser and more compact, but still not quite as rock solid as the Candy Hustle flowers. For me, they landed somewhere nicely in between. Resin production was also very good, with the flowers and surrounding leaves getting nicely frosted toward the finish. ❄️ 🌑 48h darkness 📅 Harvested: August 5th, 2026 ⚖️ Wet weight: ~590 g 🌿 Drying Chicken n’ Wafflez #2 was dried using my regular drying method, just like Mango Sherbert. After the 48-hour dark period, drying took another 7 days. Everything went perfectly – no mold or other issues during the drying process. After trimming, the final dry weight came in at approximately 80 g. 💨 Smoke Report This Chicken n’ Wafflez turned out completely different from the previous one I grew, especially when it comes to aroma and flavor. This phenotype is noticeably sweeter and much less spicy when smoked, which I personally really enjoy. The effect is a little stronger than Mango Sherbert, but still very suitable for everyday use. What I especially like is that it doesn't make me want to sit around doing nothing. Quite the opposite – it leaves me in the mood to do things, be active and talk to people. 😄 For me, that's a really enjoyable type of high: clearly noticeable and a bit stronger, while still remaining functional and social. 🏁 Final Thoughts Overall, Chicken n’ Wafflez #2 finished really well. The buds have a nice middle-ground density, firmer than Mango Sherbert, but not as dense as Candy Hustle, combined with good resin production and a much sweeter profile than my previous Chicken. 590 g wet → ~80 g dry, seven days of trouble-free drying and a final product that I'm very happy to smoke. Definitely an interesting phenotype and a much different experience from my first Chicken n’ Wafflez. 🍗 ⭐First Rosin Press Experiment As a little bonus after the grow, I also tried pressing rosin for the first time ever. A friend of mine owns a press, so this was more of a spontaneous experiment than something I had planned for the diary. I only used 120-micron dry sift/pollen collected from the trim, so definitely not the cleanest starting material and there is still plenty of room for improvement. For a first attempt though, I'm really happy with how it turned out. 😄 The biggest surprise were the terps, absolutely insane! Very sweet with a nice spicy background, and much more intense than I expected. 🔥 Definitely not my last time experimenting with a press! ⭐💨
