BudVision_Genetics Hi Growers, For this run I selected Double OG Sour #2 x Double OG Chem from Rebel Grown. Rebel Grown is considered one of the absolute top breeders in the United States, especially when it comes to OG, Sour, and Chem genetics. Their cultivars consistently earn recognition at the Emerald Cup and have built an outstanding reputation among experienced growers. This cross combines Double OG Sour #2, a selection from the award-winning Double OG Sour line, with Double OG Chem, one of Rebel Grown's most successful and celebrated cultivars. Double OG Sour won 1st Place Sun Grown at the 2024 Emerald Cup and was also a Breeder's Cup Winner, while Double OG Chem is the only cultivar to have won the Breeder's Cup three times and is considered one of the most awarded varieties in Emerald Cup history. I'm extremely excited about this grow and really looking forward to seeing what these genetics have to offer. BudVision_Genetics Hi Growers, The first week of veg is behind us and everything has gone exactly according to plan. Germination was a perfect 100%, with every seed successfully sprouting. The seedlings look healthy and full of energy. I've transplanted them into 1L pots, where they'll stay until they reveal their sex. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ První týden vegetace je za námi a všechno proběhlo přesně podle plánu. Klíčení dopadlo na 100 % a vyklíčilo úplně každé semínko. Sazenice vypadají zdravě a plné energie. Přesadil jsem je do 1l květináčů, ve kterých zůstanou až do chvíle, kdy ukážou své pohlaví. Just watering and letting the plants do what they do best. BudVision_Genetics Hi Growers, Another week is behind us, and there's not much to report. I'm just watering and waiting for the plants to show their sex. I already have a few favorites. Some of them have a really nice structure, and they already smell great when I rub the stems. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Další týden je za námi a není moc co hlásit. BudVision_Genetics Hi Growers, Another week has passed, and things are finally starting to move. I can already tell the sex of a few plants, but it's still too early to identify them all. I think in just a few more days it should be clear. Once I've confirmed the sex of every plant, I'll select the best individuals and transplant them into their final pots. I'll give them a few days to establish their roots, and then it'll be time for some training. That's when the most exciting part of the journey begins, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what this genetic line can do in flower. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Další týden je za námi a věci se konečně začínají hýbat. U několika rostlin už dokážu poznat pohlaví, ale u všech to zatím ještě jasné není. Myslím, že během pár dalších dní už bude všechno zřejmé. Jakmile budu mít pohlaví potvrzené u všech rostlin, vyberu ty nejlepší jedince a potom je přesadím do finálních květináčů. Nechám je pár dní pořádně zakořenit a následně přijde na řadu trénink. Pak už začne ta nejzajímavější část celé cesty a jsem opravdu zvědavý, co mi tahle genetika předvede v květu. Peace and happy growing! ✌️

BudVision_Genetics Hi Growers, This week was all about checking plants under the microscope, identifying their sex, and making the first selection. Not every plant deserves to move on. I kept the most promising females and transplanted them into their final pots. The males are staying in a separate tent for now, where they'll wait until I decide which one earns the champion spot. Now the girls will get a few days to establish their roots and fully recover from the transplant. Once they're growing vigorously again, the fun part begins. Most of them will get topped, followed by some LST to build a nice, even canopy and let each plant show its full potential. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tento týden se nesl ve znamení koukání do mikroskopu, určování pohlaví a první selekce. Ne každý kus si totiž zaslouží pokračovat dál. Nejslibnější samice jsem si nechal a přesadil je do finálních květináčů. Samci zatím zůstávají oddělení v druhém boxu, kde si počkají, než z nich vyberu toho jediného šampiona. Teď dostanou samice pár dní klidu, aby pořádně zakořenily a úplně se vzpamatovaly z přesazení. Jakmile se znovu naplno rozjedou, přijde ta nejzábavnější část. Většinu z nich čeká topping a následně LST, abych vytvořil co nejrovnoměrnější korunu a dal každé rostlině prostor ukázat svůj plný potenciál. Peace and happy growing ✌️

BudVision_Genetics Hi Growers, This week, every plant received its first and only topping, followed by more LST. They handled the training extremely well, recovered quickly, and are looking healthy with a nice, even structure. The plants are already starting to develop a noticeable aroma, and rubbing the stems releases an incredibly strong scent. I have a feeling we're in for something special. Next week will be the final week of vegetation. I'll continue with LST, perform a defoliation, and prepare the plants for the flip to 12/12. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tento týden všechny rostliny prošly svým prvním a zároveň jediným toppingem, po kterém jsem pokračoval v LST. Trénink zvládly výborně, rychle se vzpamatovaly a vypadají zdravě s pěkně vyrovnanou strukturou. Rostliny už teď začínají příjemně vonět a po promnutí stonku je aroma opravdu velmi výrazné. Myslím, že se máme na co těšit. Příští týden bude posledním týdnem vegetace. Budu pokračovat v LST, udělám defoliaci a připravím rostliny na přepnutí do květu. Peace and happy growing! ✌️

BudVision_Genetics Hi Growers, This week went smoothly. Although I still logged it as a vegetation week, I flipped the plants to 12/12 halfway through the week, marking the beginning of their transition into flower. According to Rebel Grown, some phenotypes should have a medium stretch and stay wider and bushier, while the more Double OG Chem dominant phenotypes may stretch a bit more, but nothing too crazy. It will be interesting to see which traits show up in each plant over the next couple of weeks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tento týden proběhl bez problémů. Přestože jsem ho v deníku ještě uvedl jako vegetační, v polovině týdne jsem rostliny přepnul na 12/12 a zahájil tak jejich přechod do květu. Podle Rebel Grown by některé fenotypy měly mít střední stretch a zůstat spíše širší a keřovitější, zatímco fenotypy s větší dominancí Double OG Chem se mohou vytáhnout o něco více, ale nemělo by jít o nic extrémního. Bude zajímavé sledovat, jaké vlastnosti se během následujících týdnů projeví u jednotlivých rostlin. Peace and happy growing! ✌️

BudVision_Genetics Hi Growers, The first week of flower is behind us, and everything is progressing exactly as I had hoped. The plants are now fully underway, and their vigor has been outstanding. Every plant is healthy, strong, and full of energy, making the transition into flower completely smooth. I have to say I'm really happy that I chose to run this strain. Every plant is growing beautifully, showing great structure, and so far they've been an absolute pleasure to grow. If they continue at this pace, I think we have something special to look forward to. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ První týden květu je za námi a vše probíhá přesně tak, jak jsem si přál. Rostliny jsou naplno rozjeté a jejich vigor je opravdu ukázkový. Všechny jsou zdravé, silné a plné energie, takže přechod do květu proběhl naprosto bez problémů. Musím říct, že jsem opravdu rád, že jsem si vybral právě tento strain. Všechny rostliny rostou doslova ukázkově, mají skvělou stavbu a zatím mi dělají jen radost. BudVision_Genetics Hi Growers, Week three of flower is behind us and everything is still going according to plan. The plants got a bigger defoliation and they are doing great! The first favorites are already starting to stand out. The aroma is getting really strong, and judging by what the plants are showing so far, this definitely won't be the most discreet run when it comes to smell. A carbon filter will definitely be needed. The buds are only in week three and they are already super sticky. If they keep going at this pace, I'm going to need gloves just to open the tent in a few weeks. As planned, I pollinated one branch from each plant with Ridgelion pollen. He was a really great male, vigorous, strong, well-built and most importantly, very aromatic. I think combining Ridgelion with this OG/Chem/Sour terpene profile could make for a really interesting cross. On one side, you have that heavy gas and fuel, and on the other, sweet candy, citrus cream, sweet diesel, and funky notes from Ridgelion. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Třetí týden květu je za námi a všechno zatím běží podle plánu. Rostliny dostaly větší defoliaci a jedou bomby! Už se mezi nimi začínají objevovat první favorité. Vůně začíná opravdu sílit a podle toho, co zatím rostliny ukazují, tohle rozhodně nebude úplně diskrétní run, co se týče smradu. Pachový filtr bude určitě potřeba. Palice jsou teprve ve třetím týdnu a už teď jsou super lepkavé. Jestli budou pokračovat tímhle tempem, tak za pár týdnů budu potřebovat rukavice i na otevření stanu. Jak jsem plánoval, z každé rostliny jsem opylil jednu větev pylem z Ridgelionu. Byl to opravdu super samec, vitální, silný, pěkně stavěný a hlavně hodně voňavý. Myslím, že spojení Ridgelionu s tímto OG/Chem/Sour terpene profilem by mohlo být opravdu zajímavé. Na jedné straně pořádný gas a fuel, na druhé sladké bonbóny, citrusový krém, sladký diesel a funky tóny Ridgelionu. Peace and happy growing! ✌️
