grow_king Week 1 – Vegetative Phase 🌱 I decided on three plants, so I let two more seeds germinate. All three seedlings have developed very well so far. As of today, the Sanlight EVO 3-80 1.5 is running at 25% power. So far, the little ones are very happy with the conditions and are growing a bit more every day. As soon as the first leaves reach the edge of the seedling pots, it's time for the first transplant. Then the ladies will have a bit more space to spread their roots and continue to take off. At the moment, it's all about observing, watering, and letting them grow. 🌱 As soon as there's something new to report, the next update will follow, of course. grow_king Week 2 – Vegetative Phase 🌱🔥 The heat is becoming quite noticeable now – and there's no end in sight for the moment. However, the high humidity seems to be very much to the liking of the little plants, as they visibly feel comfortable and continue to develop excellently. 💚 The Sanlight is now running at 50% power. From now on, it's time to step on the gas! 🔥🚀 The plants have successfully managed their move to the 11-liter fabric pots and can now expand their root system much better. As a precaution, I've spread a thin layer of diatomaceous earth on the soil surface. This is to make life difficult for any potential pests that may have moved in with the fresh soil. An additional benefit: The silicon contained can contribute to the stability of the plants and support the cell structure. So far, everything is going according to plan, and the plants are looking vibrant and eager to grow. grow_king Week 4 The plants have made great progress in the past week and continue to develop very evenly. The growth is strong, the leaf color is a rich green, and overall, they all look healthy. The temperatures remain high, but so far the plants are handling it well. I'm making sure to keep the substrate evenly moist and to maintain the climate as consistently as possible. Overall, I'm very satisfied with how things are going so far. If the development continues like this, nothing stands in the way of a successful next phase. grow_king Week 5 – Flowering Week 1 After a short vegetative phase, all three plants have started flowering healthy and vigorous. Today is finally the day, the most beautiful phase of the grow begins for me. So far, everything is going according to plan. Last week, all three have really put on some growth. I consciously decided against any training because I want to observe the natural growth form. I'm especially looking forward to a really fat main cola. grow_king Week 6 Flowering Week 2 The stretch is now clearly noticeable, especially #2 is really going full throttle right now. The node spacing is a bit larger compared to #1 and #3. Let's see if the other two can catch up a bit in the next few days. The heat is becoming more noticeable again. grow_king Week 7 Flowering Week 3 The weather seems to be really good for all three plants, they are developing excellently. #2 continues to lead in height growth. #3, on the other hand, prefers to grow wider and shows a significantly bushier growth. #1 resembles #2 in structure but remains a bit more compact overall. The pre-flowering is now clearly visible in all plants. All three look healthy and vibrant, which is reflected in their development. At the end of next week, it's time for Lollipopping. grow_king Week 8 Flowering Week 4 On flower day 21, I defoliated all the plants and removed the lower shoots. Since then, they have been increasingly directing their energy into flower formation. The vertical growth is slowly tapering off, while the flowers are visibly gaining volume. In addition to the 80 g of Azet tomato fertilizer that was already mixed into the soil during repotting, I added another 25 g. grow_king Week 9 Flowering Week 5 Everything is still going according to plan. The buds are developing excellently and are gaining volume day by day. The stretch is completely over now, and the plants are fully concentrating their energy on bud formation. The first resin glands are becoming increasingly visible and are already creating a more intense scent in the grow room. grow_king Week 10 Flowering Week 6 The development continues to go in the right direction. The buds are gaining size and density nicely, and the resin production is getting stronger week by week. The plants are now visibly putting their energy into the buds. It's particularly exciting to observe the differences between the three plants. Each one continues to show its own growth pattern and develops in its own way. Overall, all three look healthy and vibrant. I'm curious to see how they will continue to develop in the coming weeks. grow_king Week 11 Flowering Week 7 Another week has passed, and the buds continue to develop beautifully. The buds are becoming increasingly compact and are gaining a lot of volume. The resin production is also visibly increasing, and the buds are starting to sparkle more and more. #3 has a noticeably more open structure compared to #1 and #2. Some individual branches have started to lean down under the weight of the buds. That's why I've supported #3 a bit more to relieve the branches and keep the plant stable. All three plants still look healthy and vibrant. Now begins the exciting phase where the buds will really develop and gain density and mass. I'm curious to see what the coming weeks will bring. grow_king Week 12 Flowering Week 8 Time flies and we're slowly entering the exciting final phase. All three plants are continuing to develop very well. The buds have noticeably increased in volume and density, and resin production has also progressed nicely. #1 and #3 are now showing clear foxtailing. This results in new, small bud tips developing on the flowers, creating an interesting and unique structure. #2, on the other hand, remains a bit more compact and uniform in bud formation. Overall, I am very satisfied with the development of all three plants. Now it's time to be patient and watch them ripen in the final weeks. grow_king Woche 13 Blütewoche 9 Langsam geht es in die Zielgerade. Die Blüten haben ordentlich an Gewicht zugelegt, sodass mittlerweile alle drei Pflanzen Unterstützung benötigen. Einige Seitentriebe werden durch das zunehmende Bud Gewicht so stark nach unten gezogen, dass ich sie abgestützt habe. Bei #2 hat sich in dieser Woche ein leichter Kaliummangel entwickelt. Ich werde die Pflanze daher weiterhin genau im Auge behalten und die Entwicklung beobachten. Auch bei den Trichomen tut sich einiges: Nahezu alle sind inzwischen milchig, und die ersten Stigmen beginnen sich braun zu verfärben. Man merkt deutlich, dass die Pflanzen langsam auf die Zielgerade einbiegen. Insgesamt bin ich mit der Entwicklung weiterhin sehr zufrieden. grow_king Week 13 Flowering Week 10 The last week before the harvest has begun, and it's getting really exciting. All three plants have significantly increased their flower mass over the past weeks and are looking quite impressive now. The trichomes are mostly milky now, and the first amber trichomes can be seen. The flower hairs have mostly changed color as well, clearly indicating that the plants are nearing the end of their cycle. #1, #2, and #3 are still doing well, and the supported side branches can handle the increasing weight of the flowers. Now it's just a matter of being patient and giving the plants these last few days. After all these weeks, the anticipation for the harvest is, of course, huge. grow_king Unfortunately, the plants were not fully ready for harvest by the end of the contest. However, the extra time was definitely worth it, especially with #3, where the size of the headbud became noticeably larger. The harvest for #1 is still pending. I will carry that out in the next few days and will add the corresponding photos afterward. Overall, the entire grow went super well, and I am very satisfied with the results. I found it particularly interesting to observe how well the plants performed with Azet tomato fertilizer as a solid fertilizer, mixed directly into the soil. The development was very satisfying throughout the entire grow. For the next round, there will be a change: I will grow in coco and fertilize with minerals again. I’m excited about the comparison and how the plants will develop under the new conditions. That wraps up my Grow Diary – at least almost. 😄 The last pictures of #1 will be added after the harvest.
