Introduction - Week 00 Summary -
Ensign's log, stardate 17783.7,
Ensign420 back with another grow log and time to begin a new journey.
This grow cycle is going to be my first attempt at feminized breeding and will also be the beginning of a line-stabilization project which will take several years to accomplish. Wish there was more time to hunt through additional cultivars and phenos, but due to unexpected variables (Peace & Good Memories Father), have decided to re-prioritize and accelerate specific life goals.
Took a week off from posting entries. Never stopped growing, but since these logs are not artificially generated (although I tend to re-use text for repetitive tasks while refining as I learn), this gives me a whole month between each weekly entry.
Also was originally planning on pollinating multiple phenos but since this will be my first time, decided to simply the entire process. This will also prevent any possible seed sorting confusion after the drying process.
Plan to veg a clone of TKO (#2 pheno) in a 30-gal for about two or three weeks before reversing several Heady OG BX1 (#1 pheno) clones for feminized pollination. This will ultimately be a single plant flowering cycle with the goal aimed at feminized seed production.
If all goes well, the seeds produced from this cycle will be grown out and hunted through during the next grow cycle.
Simple right? What can possibly go wrong? Of course will continue to preserve genetics by maintaining mothers and clones in a separate veg tent.
This week in the garden,
In the main tent, reset and upgraded the pots. Also transplanted TKO #2 into a 30-gallon pot to begin pre-veg.
In the veg tent, mainly been tending to solo clone waterings.
Anyways, next week begins the first week of veg.
Always learning. Always growing. Onwards to next week Ensign.

Day 03 - Wednesday - 05/06/26 - Total Days: 003
-----------------------------------
Daily Averages ~[+01:00]
- Temps: 80.1°F [26.7°C]
- Humidity: 66.5%
- VPD: 1.18 kPa
- Soil %: [54, 42, 48, 42, 50, 60, 52, 58, 35, 100]
-----------------------------------
- [09:40]: Okay. Time to reset the 4x4 tent for my first breeding cycle.
--- Turned the gravity fed water OFF
--- Temporarily took the bags of BuildASoil and COWOCO worm castings out of the tent and set them aside for later.
--- Also removed the branches and mulch bags along with the 20-gallon mulch pot (back right).
--- Basically cleared out the 4x4 tent leaving just the three 30-gallon pots.
--- Once that was completed, removed the scrog frame and wiped the walls of the tent with Hydrogen Peroxide and RO water.
--- Also cleaned the floor with RO water and moved the back-right oscillating fan up for bit.
--- Then one pot at a time,
--- Removed the top mulch along with BluMat watering carrots, meters, and drip-tape. Also removed the Ecowitt meters for a bit.
--- Gently mixed and tilled the top 5-6 inches of soil. Made sure to also break up root clumps and removed the root balls for mulching.
--- While mixing each pot, the soil felt nice and moist and smelled humic and fresh. Also was happy to find worms alive and well in each pot.
--- Oh, and as for the front right pot’s bottom Ecowitt meter which was stuck at 100%,
--- The unit was indeed malfunctioning so will no longer use it and replaced the sensor with the back left pot’s (will fix sensor IDs later).
--- Anyways, once all pots were cleaned and tilled, focused on the left pots.
--- Placed the BluMat watering system and meters back along with the Ecowitt soil sensors (changed batteries as well). For easy transplanting, also placed a clear cup (with the bottom cut off) in the center of each pot.
--- Re-worked the watering line and have the main loop on top of the front left pot (used to be on the right).
- [17:06]: Looking good.
--- Did not add the watering system or meters to the front right pot yet.
- [17:16]: Time to add a fourth 30-gallon to the tent.
--- Wiped the floor down with RO water a bit more.
--- Then placed the new 30-gallon pot on the floor.
--- Filled the bottom of the pot with all of the old straw mulch along with trim and branches from the current harvest.
--- Also added some old coco coir along with a small bag of rice hulls.
--- Then dumped the contents of the 20-gallon in to new 30-gallon.
--- Nice. Was glad to find the mulch had decomposed well and had turned into more soil.
--- Mixed the soil up a bit which surprising felt moist and smelt fresh with humic acid (earthy aroma).
--- Then added soil from the front right pot to the back left.
--- Added a good 4-5 inches of soil (~1 cubic foot) from the front pot.
- [18:18]: Okay time to add the fresh soil for the nest cycle.
--- Poured the entire bag of BuildASoil 3.0 potting soil into the front right pot.
--- Also poured most of the COWOCO premium worm castings on top of the front right pot, but also added some to the back right.
--- Gently mixed and tilled in the castings into the top 3-4 inches of soil for both pots on the right.
--- Placed clear cups (with bottoms cut off) into the center of both pots.
--- Then similar to the left side, installed the BluMat watering system into the back right pot, but placed both the BluMat and Ecowitt soil sensors into the front pot.
--- Plan to finish off the tent reset tomorrow with cover crop along with installing the new BluMat watering carrot and drip-tape system into the front right pot.
- [20:23]: Night check on the 3x3 veg tent.
--- Veg garden is looking great and no clones need watering.
- [20:25]: Checked the humidifiers.
--- Tanks are still full and no leaks found.
Day 04 - Thursday - 05/07/26 - Total Days: 004
-----------------------------------
Daily Averages ~[+01:00]
- Temps: 80.4°F [26.9°C]
- Humidity: 74.4%
- VPD: 0.90 kPa
- Soil %: [54, 41, 48, 42, 47, 60, 45, 54, 48, 00]
-----------------------------------
- [10:55]: Morning check on the 4x4 tent.
--- Wow the tent looks great.
--- Have the pots pretty much fully reset, but still have a bit more to do.
--- Since this is going to be a single plant flowering cycle, will be growing cover crop in all pots, but will only chop and drop the flowering pot (front right).
--- Using some BuildASoil 12 Seed Clover Crop (pre-inoculated with Mycrobe Complete, Great White, and Beauveria Bassiana Plus),
------ Sprinkled about a teaspoon onto the top soil of each pot in the tent.
--- Tried to spread the seeds evenly.
--- Then covered the top soil with some fresh BuildASoil Organic Straw Mulch (stored in an old 3.0 soil bag).
- [12:01]: Pots are seeded and the has been placed. Nice.
--- Time to adjust the environment for a warm veg.
- [12:20]: Within the AC Infinity App,
--- For the Main Tent [4x4] controller,
--- Switched the schedule from 'Drying [0/24]' to 'Vegetative [18/6]'
--- Also verified the initial settings for each device were correct for veg:
------ GROW LIGHT (MARS HYDRO FC-6500):
--------- The Mode is set to ‘ON MODE’
--------- The START/END times are set to 04:00PM/10:00AM
--------- The SUNRISE/SUNSET Duration value is set to 20Min
--------- The MAX value is set to 3 (temporarily set to 1)
------ EXHAUST FAN (AC INFINITY CLOUDLINE T6):
--------- The Mode is set to ‘CONTINUOUS TARGET’
--------- The VPD target value is set to 0.8kPa

--------- The VPD Dynamic Transition buffer value is set to 0.2kPa
------ HEATER (AC INFINITY THERMOFORGE T3):
--------- The Mode is set to ‘CONTINUOUS TARGET’
--------- The Temperature target value is set to 84°F
--------- The MIN/MAX values are set to 0/8
--------- The Temperature Dynamic Transition buffer value is set to 2°F
--- Also applied similar settings to the Veg Tent [3x3] controller.
--- Will adjust these settings as needed.
- [14:16]: Time to install the new watering carrot and drip-tape system.
--- Cut the drip-tape to 51 inches in length and securely connected both ends of the watering manifold into a single loop.
--- First both ends were hand tightened making sure the drip-tape’s flap was facing the same direction of the threading. Then using a wrench, slightly tightened both ends a bit more.
- [14:19]: Using the provided key, adjusted the BluMat’s watering cap counter clockwise from the default silver (strong) mark to the gold (gravity) mark. Will further adjust as needed.
--- Placed both the 9 inch watering carrot and cap into a bucket of RO water. Need to soak the ceramic carrot for at least 2 hours so will install the unit a bit later.
- [14:25]: While the carrot soaks, going to set the drip-tape.
--- Installed the BluMat watering manifold loop onto the front right pot.
--- Tried to center the loop and used plastic stakes to secure the loop.
- [16:10]: Checked the 3x3 veg tent.
--- Veg garden is looking great.
--- Okay time to transplant TKO #2(a) from the veg tent into the 4x4 tent.
- [16:15]: Here are some general stats:
------ Initial watering range » 252.5g → 335.5g
------ Weight before transplant » 276.9g
------ Been 2 days since her last watering.
------ Transplanted into the solo cup on 03/08/26
- [16:19]: Gently removed the solo cup from the fabric pot leaving a perfect hole.
------ Sprinkled 1/16tsp of Great White
------ Sprinkled 1/32tsp of Beauveria Bassiana Plus
- [16:23]: Dusted the sides of the hole.
--- Also sprinkled a bit around the top soil.
--- To loosen and unstick the rootball from the cup, I gently squeezed the sides before pressing the bottom inwards.
--- Once fully loosened, I simply Vulcan-gripped the base of the plant and flipped her upside down.
- [16:27]: TKO #2(a) easily dropped out of her cup.
--- Her roots looked a bit root-bound and not the whitest, but root tips look okay. She easily could have been transplanted a month or so ago.
--- Did not break up the rootball.
--- Gently flipped her over before placing her straight into the pre-inoculated hole.
--- Pressed and evened out the straw mulch.
--- Covered the three unused pot’s transplant hole with upside-down drip trays.
- [16:41]: Then using a fully filled 9" BluMat watering carrot (pre-soaked earlier and set to gold for gravity feed),
--- Gently inserted the ceramic tip into the soil and pushed the carrot straight down until the cap was just above straw mulch.
--- Then connected the watering carrot's 3mm output line to the drip-tape manifold.
--- Checked on the BluMat soil sensor:
------ TKO #2(a) » 53mbars
--------- Watering Range: [Too Wet] ~25mbars «| [Ideal Target] ~40-80mbars |» ~125mbars [Too Dry]
--------- BluMat Max Values: [10mbars «||» 750mbars]
- [17:26]: The gravity feed was holding steady at ~2.2 psi of pressure at ~22” from the floor.
--- Bled and purged the water loop of air and made sure there was no air in the system. Then turned the gravity feed OFF.
--- Will keep the gravity feed OFF until the soil dries back and will monitor the mBars before turning the water back on.
--- To help with transplanting, going to give 2 cups of microbial wetting solution.
- [17:43]: Filled a measuring cup with 2 cups of RO water.
------ Added 1/64tsp of Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60]
------ Added 1/16tsp of Horticultural Aloe
------ Added 1/16tsp of Horticultural Coconut
------ Added 1/8tsp of Mycrobe Complete
--- Mixed the solution and poured both cups straight into a pump sprayer.
----- Added 6 more cups of RO
--- Swirled the solution around a bit to mix.
- [18:05]: Misted the straw mulch of all pots with the wetting solution.
--- Took my time and misted each pot with several passes. Tried to evenly wet both the straw and the cover crop seeds below.
--- Done with the transplant.
--- Wow what a day.
--- Still have more to do. Nice.
- [18:10]: Checked and updated the Ecowitt soil moisture sensor data:

-----------------------------------
- [11:38]: Placed six 5” BluMat carrots into a 5-gallon bucket of RO water.
--- Going to let these soak for a bit. Plan to reset the veg tent today.
- [16:16]: Evening check on the 3x3 veg tent.
--- Veg garden is looking good.
--- Time to begin the reset.
--- Took an old 20-gal fabric pot and placed it on the floor.
- [16:27]: Since breeding and refining TKO (#2 pheno) and Heady OG BX1 (#1 pheno) is going to take several years to complete, decided to reset the veg tent and am going to reduce the genetics down to only TKO and Heady OG BX1.
--- Wish I could keep these genetics, but reducing the variety down will make more room for multiple mothers of each pheno and will make it easier to focus on just TKO and Heady OG.
--- Culled all Chill Out OG, Garlic Budder, and Gorilla Goat solo clones.
--- Mulched the trimmings and straw mulch and placed them into a brown bag. Dumped the soil into the 20-gallon pot.
- [16:41]: Time to reduce the veg moms down to just TKO and Heady OG BX1.
--- Culled both Garlic Budder and Gorilla Goat mothers.
--- Peace and good memories my girls.. Mulched the trimmings.
- [17:02]: All pots are empty now except for Heady OG BX1 and TKO.
--- Have two Heady OG and only one TKO mother, but plan to fill the tent up again soon with new moms and clones of both.
--- Anyways,
--- Chopped and cut up the trimmings.
------ Added the entire bag of trimmings into the 20-gallon fabric pot.
- [17:08]: Going to be resetting three of the pots, but will use four.
------ Added the soil from four 3-gal pots.
--- Mixed the soil up a bit.
--- Going to be top dressing with a few BuildASoil amendments.
------ Added 1/2cup of Craft Blend [Nutrient Pack]
------ Added 1/2cup of Gnarly Barley [Freshly Milled From Whole]
------ Added 1/2cup of Ocean Blend [& Trace Minerals]
--- Mixed the soil trying to combine everything evenly.
--- Then filled one of the empty 3-gallon pots with the new soil.
--- Placed a bottom-less clear cup into the middle of the pot.
--- Then using BuildASoil Organic Straw Mulch,
- [17:53]: Covered the soil with enough straw to completely cover the top.
--- Placed the newly amended pot back into the veg tent.
--- Shifted the 3-gallon pots to the back before placing the newly amended pot in front middle.
--- Covered the planting hole with a black drip tray.
- [18:59]: Repeated this process for two more pots.
--- Placed the 2nd and 3rd pot in the front corners.
--- Lastly placed an un-covered full pot in the front middle (will use this one as spare soil as needed).
- [19:06]: Then using a fully filled 5" BluMat watering carrot (pre-soaked and set to gold for gravity feed) along with a 5" drip ring,
--- Placed the drip rings into three of the four newly amended pots.
--- Then gently inserted a BluMat carrot into the soil near the drip ring's fill tube before connecting it with a 3mm connector. Did not install a BluMat carrot or drip ring in the front middle pot.
--- After all carrots and drip rings were installed, connected each pot to the water loop.
--- Shut off the necessary flow-valves in the loop and made sure the 8mm tubing had no water pressure.
--- Cut the tubing and installed an RO valve-rig (with 3mm T-fitting) for all three pots.
--- Then connected each watering carrot to the valve-rig (3mm tubing) before turning the flow-valves back on.
--- Lastly placed all TKO and Heady solo clones back into the veg tent. Placed them on top of the drip trays.
- [20:04]: Done. Wow the veg garden is looking clean.
--- TKO cuttings in the propagation tray are looking good and no need to mist the top growth.
- [20:34]: Checked the Ecowitt soil moisture sensor data:

Introduction - Week 02 Summary -
Ensign's log, stardate 17795.8,
Another week in the garden.
In the main tent, super-cropped TKO #2 and began the Heady OG BX1 #1 reversal process by mixing and spraying a Silver Thiosulfate Solution (STS) for the first (and second) time. Oops, once again, forgot to take heights and PPFD readings.
In the veg garden, been mainly keeping up with solo cup waterings. Also transplanted a Heady clone into one of the empty 3-gallon pots.
Anyways, next week begins the first week of flower.
Onwards Ensign.

- [21:15]: Checked the 3x3 veg tent.
--- Veg garden is looking healthy and all pots look good with no signs of flooding. Great.
- [21:19]: Okay time to transplant Heady OG BX#1-2a into a 3-gallon fabric pot.
--- The 3-gallon pot has been already pre-amended and prepped for a fresh transplant.
--- Plan to transplant into the front left pot.
--- Heady OG BX#1-2a weighed 302.7g and was watered 3 days ago.
--- Disconnected and removed the 5" drip ring.
--- Since the soil was well-hydrated, the BluMat watering carrot was OFF.
--- Also removed the solo clear cup (leaving a perfect transplant hole).
--- Kept both the BluMat watering carrot and Ecowitt soil sensor.
------ Sprinkled 1/16tsp of Great White
------ Sprinkled 1/32tsp of Beauveria Bassiana Plus
- [21:24]: Dusted the sides of the hole.
--- Also sprinkled a bit around the top soil.
--- Time to begin the transplant.
--- To loosen and unstick the rootball from the cup, I gently squeezed the sides before pressing the bottom upwards.
--- Once fully loosened, Vulcan-gripped the base of the plant before flipping her upside down.
--- Wow roots look quite matted and root-bound. But roots still look good and she is more than ready to be transplanted.
--- Did not break up the rootball.
- [21:33]: Gently set her straight into the pre-inoculated hole.
--- Evenly pressed the top soil and straw mulch.
--- Placed the 5" drip ring back.
--- Set the ring around the base of the plant before connecting it to the BluMat watering carrot (3mm connector).
--- The soil in the pot was already hydrated and full of biology.
--- Going to give a basic RO watering.
- [21:35]: Filled a measuring cup with a 1/2 cup of RO water.
--- Slowly wet the straw mulch by pouring the water around the transplant hole in several passes.
--- Done.
--- TKO #2 cuttings are looking great in the propagation tray.
--- Misted the top growth with RO water.
- [21:48]: Checked the humidifiers.

- [13:13]: Okay. Time to begin my breeding journey and the start of my first feminized in-bred line (IBL).
--- Switching the grow light from 18/6 to 12/12 in 5 days (Monday) so need to start the first reversal application.
--- Going to mix up an initial batch of A & B base solution.
--- Mixed Silver Thiosulfate Solution (STS) should last about a month in the fridge. Also as the STS ages, the color will gradually change from a clear-transparent (usable) to a dark-opaque (un-usable).
--- Now if stored separately in the fridge, concentrated A & B solution should last anywhere from 6 to 12 months.
--- Thus before each application, plan to mix up a fresh batch of STS from the A & B base concentrates.
--- Plan to discard the unused STS after each spraying and the concentrated base solution will be discarded after a successful reversal (which should take about 2-3 weeks).
--- Okay. Time to mix and create the A and B concentrated base solutions.
--- This seems a bit backwards, but in chemistry, solution A is always poured into solution B. So going so prepare solution B first.
- [13:25]: Cleaned and filled the glass beaker with 200mL of distilled water.
------ Added 1.96g of Sodium Thiosulfate [Pentahydrate]
--- Using a glass rod, mixed the solution until all crystals were fully dissolved.
------ Added distilled water to the beaker until the solution was at 250mL
--- Then poured the finished solution straight into a labeled (Solution B - Sodium Thiosulfate) wide-mouth glass mason jar.
--- Sealed the jar with a plastic lid and set the jar aside.
- [13:48]: Cleaned the glass beaker and filled it with 200mL of distilled water.
------ Added 0.25g of Silver Nitrate
--- Using a glass rod, mixed the solution until all crystals were fully dissolved.
------ Added distilled water to the beaker until the solution was at 250mL
--- Then poured the finished solution straight into a labeled (Solution A - Silver Nitrate - Pentahydrate) wide-mouth glass mason jar.
--- Sealed the jar with a plastic lid and set the jar aside.
--- Okay, now that the base solutions are made, time to mix them up to create the Silver Thiosulfate Solution.
--- The basic recipe is an equal parts of base A and B diluted to a 1-to-3 strength ratio.
--- For example:
------ 10mL [of solution A] + 10mL [of solution B] + 60mL [of distilled water] = 80mL [of mixed STS]
--- Also in chemistry, solution A is always poured into solution B.
--- With that said,
- [14:15]: Filled a glass beaker with 20mL of base solution B (Sodium Thiosulfate).
------ Added 20mL of base solution A (Silver Nitrate)
--- Swirled the beaker a bit to mix the solution.
------ Added 120mL of distilled water (total solution now at 160mL).
--- Mixed and poured the finished solution straight into a glass amber bottle.
--- Covered the bottle with a spray cap and swirled the bottle a bit more to mix the solution once more.
--- Set the bottle aside. Done.
--- Been hunting for specific growth and fuel-like terpene traits. As for trichome texture, been searching for smoke and not extract washing. So greasy and terpy. Not sandy or grainy.
--- Well hunted through several packs from my favorite breeders for a both a pollen donor and receiver.
--- Thankfully, I've finally found The One:
------ Heady OG BX1 (#1 pheno - The One) [Mendo Dope Farms - Photo/Reg - BX1]
--- Heady OG has very resilient growth morphology and can easily be super-cropped without branch snapping.
--- Mother vegging is vigorous and she recovers from toppings without stressing out.
--- She also clones easily and can be kept in solo cups for quite a long time without stress.
--- Growth during the stretch phase after the 12/12 flip is quite vigorous and she also scrogs very well.
--- On the stem rubs, during veg she has little to no aroma, but terpenes get loud during flower.
--- Into flower, bud growth is spear-shaped with greasy trichome texture and purpling during late senescence.
--- Harvest time around day 80 of flower (with 11/13 cycle 10 days before harvest).
--- As for terpenes, she definitely leans towards the fuel-side of the primary big 4 flavors (Fuel/Earthy/Floral/Fruity) with a lemon-chem pine-sol gas profile.
--- Also surprisingly found my chosen pollen receiver:
------ TKO (#2 pheno) [James Loud Genetics - Photo/Fem]
--- TKO has a wider leaf structure than Heady OG and vegs well with flexible nodal branching.
--- She clones without issue and can be vegged in solo cups for a while without stressing out.
--- Mother vegging is also easy and she tops without stressing.
--- Training and scrogging is a must as she stretches tall during the 12/12 flower flip.
--- On the stem rubs, she's quite loud with terpenes in the gassy profile which only gets better during flower.
--- In flower, buds structure is more sphere-shaped with greasy trichomes with little to no purpling, but can yellow during late flower.
--- Harvest time around day 80 of flower (with 11/13 cycle 10 days before harvest).
--- As for terpenes, she's straight up on the fuel-side of the prime flavors with a kushy chem-diesel gas profile.
--- By far TKO was a huge surprise as I lost the last harvest. Even before curing, the flavor profile is there and she is dank and loud. Glad the genetics were saved and have been maintaining a mother.
--- For breeding purposes, going to assume that all genetics are poly hybrids and these initial F1 seeds will to be pheno hunted through the next grow cycle and will be used as breeding stock for the next breeding cycle.
--- Going to further refine and stabilize through filial in-breeding.
--- Basically, plan to grow out and pheno hunt through the (Heady OG bred to TKO) F1 seeds for two keepers which will then be bred to produce the F2 seeds. This process is repeated through several grow cycles until the desired homozygosity is achieved.
--- To fully preserve these genetics in seed form, my goal is to produce F3 to F5 seeds which should have a homozygosity of around 87-96% trait stability.
--- Anyways,
--- Since I plan to inoculate within a still air-box, not going to wear a respirator and goggles, but will wear gloves, along with cloth sleeves and face-mask.
- [14:43]: Time to prep for the application process.
--- Turned OFF the lung room's fan and put on the cloth sleeves.
- [15:01]: Set the Safloga Still-Air-Box onto the desk and secured the base to the table with painters tape.
--- Placed the pre-mixed bottle of STS into the chamber. Also placed an empty cup (for purging) along with a few paper towels (for cleanup).
--- At this time, also started wearing gloves.
- [15:01]: Time to bring in the Heady clones for spraying.
--- Placed all Heady OG BX1 #1 clones into the chamber.
--- Took the STS spray bottle and primed the sprayer by purging the solution (by spraying) into the cup and adjusted the nozzle to a fine mist.
--- Then gently sprayed each nodal site.
--- To minimize leaf burn, did not try to spray any fan leaves.
--- Also since Silver Thiosulfate is localized and not mobile, only areas sprayed by the solution should be affected.
--- Used paper towels to dry up any over-spray.
- [15:10]: Once all Heady OG BX1 #1 phenos were sprayed, gently placed them back into the main tent to dry.
--- Turned the lung room's fan back ON. Done.
--- Today is the first application day (5 days before the 12/12 flip).
--- Plan to spray every 3 days until male pollen sacs begin to develop.
--- Let the reversal begin.
- [16:09]: Evening check on the 4x4 tent.
--- The garden is looking great. Nice.
--- TKO #2 is continuing to grow with health.
- [16:10]: Checked on the BluMat soil sensor:
------ TKO #2 » 65mbars
--------- Watering Range: [Too Wet] ~25mbars «| [Ideal Target] ~40-80mbars |» ~125mbars [Too Dry]

--- Channel 8’s soil sensor was malfunctioning so replaced the unit with a new one. Updated the corresponding sensor ID.
- [17:43]: Checked the 3x3 veg tent.
--- Wow the veg garden is looking good.
--- Pots look hydrated and no signs of flooding.
--- Clones and propagation cuttings look healthy and no need to water. Great.
- [17:46]: Checked the humidifiers.
--- Tanks are still full and no leaks found.
Day 04 - Thursday - 05/21/26 - Total Days: 018
-----------------------------------
Daily Averages ~[+01:00]
- Temps: 84.5°F [29.2°C]

-----------------------------------
- [16:19]: Night check on the 4x4 tent.
--- The garden is healthy and all pots look great.
--- TKO #2 is perky and getting bigger.
--- Checked on the BluMat soil sensor:
------ TKO #2 » 67mbars
--------- Watering Range: [Too Wet] ~25mbars «| [Ideal Target] ~40-80mbars |» ~125mbars [Too Dry]
--------- BluMat Max Values: [10mbars «||» 750mbars]
--- Time do a bit of defoliation.
- [16:21]: Using a pair of trimmers,
--- Cut and removed the larger fan leaves.
--- Also defoliated a few of the lower leaves.
--- Mulched the trimmings.
--- Since this is a seed cycle, did not lollipop the lower thirds of the canopy.
--- Did a bit of super-cropping and bend the taller branches outwards. Tried to spread the canopy outwards towards the sides of the pot.
--- Oops, may have over-bent a branch or two.
- [16:38]: Checked the gravity feed system.
--- Made sure the water was still OFF (been off for 14 days).
- [16:40]: Checked the Ecowitt soil moisture sensor data:
------------------ [ 3x3 VEG TENT – GR3 ] ----------------
------ 54% - [CH01 » M1 » VBL – Heady OG BX1 #1-1]

--------- Veg: ~38%-45% | Flower: ~45%-55%
--------- General: ~30% [Dry] «| ~45-60% [Moist] |» ~70% [Wet]
- [16:43]: Checked the 3x3 veg tent.
--- Veg garden is healthy and all pots look good.
--- The TKO #2b clone is looking good and no need to water.
--- As for the propagation cuttings, time to check for roots.
- [16:45]: Nice. All cuttings have roots.
--- Time to transplant into clear solo cups.
--- Decided to also take more cuttings, but going to try something a bit different.
--- Instead of soaking the cuttings for two days, going to be planting directly into the Coco Coins.
--- If this works, skipping the two-day soak should be a time saver.
- [17:02]: Filled a measuring cup with 1.5 cups of RO water.
------ Added a pinch of Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60]
------ Added 1/64tsp of Horticultural Aloe
------ Added 1/32tsp of Mycrobe Complete
--- Mixed the solution thoroughly.
- [17:05]: Dropped 4 Coco Coins into the measuring cup.
--- The coins immediately started to expand.
--- Set the measuring cup aside. Will also be using this solution to water the solo cups after transplanting.
--- For the Coco Coin to solo cup transplants, going to be using the soil from a 3-gallon pot (front middle).
--- Turned OFF the necessary valves before disconnecting the pot’s BluMat watering carrot from the water loop.
- [17:10]: Set the 3-gallon pot onto a flood tray outside the tent.
--- As usual, will be planting into clear cups which have bottom holes cut out for drainage.
--- These will be set into opaque red cups without holes to prevent light leaks and algae growth.
--- Partially filled the clear cup with the recycled BuildASoil 3.0 potting soil from the 3-gallon pot.
--- Made sure the soil was well compacted in each cup.
--- Inoculated each cup with Great White mycorrhizae along with a bit of Beauveria Bassiana.
------ Sprinkled 1/16tsp of Great White
------ Sprinkled 1/64tsp of Beauveria Bassiana Plus
--- Mainly tried to dust the center of each cup.
- [17:24]: Placed a rooted Coco Coin into each inoculated cup.
--- Made sure each cup still had enough room for more soil.
--- To fully hydrate all Coco Coins, misted each with about 20-30 sprays of RO water.
- [15:42]: Gently filled each cup with more soil.
--- Completely covered each Coco Coin making sure to tuck the sides in.
--- Each Coco Coin is about 1/4-1/2 inch below the top soil.
--- Marked the names on each cup with blue painter's tape.
--- Then placed each clear cup into red cups marked with the same pheno names.
--- Placed the 3-gallon pot with the remaining soil back into the tent and reconnected the BluMat watering carrot to water loop. Once everything was properly connected, turned all valves back ON.
- [17:59]: Covered the soil with BuildASoil Organic Straw Mulch.
--- Made sure the top soil was completely covered.
- [18:01]: Took the initial dry soil weight before watering,
------ TKO #2-1 » 280.1g
------ TKO #2-2 » 296.1g
------ TKO #2-3 » 286.6g
------ TKO #2-4 » 288.0g
--- While on a scale,
--- Took the measuring cup filled with the wetting solution (and Coco Coins) from earlier and gently poured the solution onto the straw mulch of each cup. Tried to keep the Coco Coins in the cup while pouring slow and evenly. Did a single pass on each cup with the solution. Set the measuring cup and Coco Coins aside for later.
--- Then evenly misted the top of each cup with RO water.
--- Did not spray the top growth.
--- Misted 10-20 sprays. Waited a moment, then misted again.
--- Repeated this process until each cup weighted at least 300g.
--- There was no runoff.
- [18:10]: Took the saturated weight after watering,
------ TKO #2-1 » 335.3g
------ TKO #2-2 » 335.4g
------ TKO #2-3 » 335.2g
------ TKO #2-4 » 335.3g
--- Marked the watering date and weight ranges on each red cup with blue painter's tape.

--- Time to plant the cuttings.
- [18:25] Using a pair of clean trimmers,
--- Cut 4 fresh clone cuttings:
------ Heady OG BX1 #1 [x2]
------ TKO #2 [x2]
--- For each clone cutting, made a final 45° cut and scrapped some of the stem’s outer membrane off.
--- To help with planting, gave each Coco Coin a squeeze to loosen the coco.
--- Made sure to insert each stem straight and snug with the tip about a 1/4 inch from the bottom of the Coco Coin.
--- Also secured each stem by pinching and pressing in the top of the Coco Coins.
--- Once each cutting was planted,
- [18:34]: Placed each Coco Coin into the propagation dome’s tray.
--- Made sure to keep each cutting properly tagged.
--- Sprayed the top growth along with the sides of the tray with RO water.
--- Also filled the flood tray’s bottom with RO water (~1/2cup).
--- As for PPFD levels, at the lowest light intensity (and raised ~14 above the tray), the PPFD is around 42 μmol/m²/s which gives a DLI of 2.72 mol/m²/d under a constant 18/6 light cycle.
- [18:41]: Decided to lower the temps a bit.
--- For the Main Tent [4x4] controller,
--- Adjusted the 'Vegetative [18/6]' Schedule for the heater.
--- HEATER (AC INFINITY THERMOFORGE T3):
------ Decreased the Temp target value from 80°F to 75°F
--- Also applied the same HEATER settings for the Veg tent's [3x3] controller.
