Mellow Jelly🍭micro Grow

SmallGrowz Peace Growmies, the first week of veg is over. She's really putting on some impressively fast growth:🏎️💨 Nutrients haven't been added yet, just a minimal amount of Plagron root juice, but only 0.2ml in 100ml of water. PPFD at 175 DLI at 10.

SmallGrowz Peace Growmies💚 the second week is over. She's still growing nicely wide. I set the lamp to 60%, so a bit over 30 watts. PPFD - 280 and DLI - 17. I gave her minimal nutrients, just a few drops, always tricky when you're only watering with 100ml😅

SmallGrowz Peace Growmies💚 the Mellow Jelly is still doing well. She has gained a good amount of leaf mass and has only grown 5cm taller. The lowest leaves showed minimal signs of deficiencies. I'm now watering 500ml for the 3.5l pot and sticking to the normal schedule. PH is at 6.1. Next week, it's time for topping😎

SmallGrowz Peace Growmies💚 the first month is done. In the middle of week 4, I topped them. As you can see in the pictures, I waited a long time because my buddy is trying to make a cutting from it. I cut off the lowest node since the shoots were underdeveloped. In the end, I left 6 main shoots. She handled the topping really well, and even by the evening, you could already see how much she had grown. I'm generally a fan of topping late, so the plant doesn't experience a growth stop, and you don't have to wait for the push back. I watered with a pH of 6.2, and the light remains at 60%. So about 280-300 PPFD and a DLI of about 17.

SmallGrowz Peace Growmies💚 Veg week 5 is over, I tied her down nicely before the vacation, but unfortunately, that will only help for a day. The little one is really taking off. I'm still enjoying the vacation for the last few days 🇳🇱 and in 3-4 days there will be the next update. Let's see if I need to buy a bigger tent after all, it's going to be really tight.🏼

SmallGrowz Peace people🏼💚 I'm back from vacation, the Mellow Jelly has grown well in my absence. I had to try to tie down the shoots as best as I could the very next morning. The distance to the lamp is now a bit more again, 34cm after the LST. I also switched to flowering right away, I hope the little one doesn't stretch. PPFD was around 330 this week and a DLI of 20 at 18h of light. 😊

SmallGrowz Hey Growmies🏼 I switched to 12/12 right when I got back from vacation. She has gained a good 8cm in height. Unfortunately, I don't think this will work in the 70cm tall tent. The light distance is currently 26cm, and I think she will stretch for another 1-2 weeks. The light was adjusted from 34w to the full 54w. The values are now about 460 PPFD with a DLI of around 21.

SmallGrowz Hey you dear ones💚 the Mellow Jelly really stepped on the gas in its second week after the switch. Already at BT9, clear flower buds were visible. It did grow a bit more, but for the most part, it directed its energy into the production of the buds. I pulled the shoots down further with the help of additional LST clips and the small holes in the LST clips to counteract the last stretch. It now really takes up almost the entire 40x40 space. At the start of the new flowering week, defoliation will be done immediately so that the air can circulate better again.
