Gave them some 20/20/20, some molasses, some baked and powdered eggshell... Auto is definitely flowering .. I'm getting a few aphids that I'm killing by hand but there has to be a better way .. thinking of spraying with garlic water to see if that gets them off .. The pinapple crunch responded well to the last round of pruning and LST she is looking happy .. The Durban poison seems like she aint growing much ... Same feed and light as the rest ... Jul 8 - been raining past few days .. today we might get some sun.. going to keep them in the green house for now .. next few days look horrendous ..

Hi @jirjoo! Nice strains selection in here! This oddness is probably genetic-related, or a short stress due to the training made the leaf react this way. I would not worry at all, you can remove it if you want, most of your lowest leaves aren't going to be useful anyway. Hope this will help, keep us updated and happy growing! 👊

Hey there, these have just started to flower it seems , you should only really start P/K boosters when the buds are the size of your thumbs, so not yet actually , i would say you probably have something like 8 weeks ahead of you, but it might be less and it very well might be a lot more ! So to answer your question : yeah keep feeding, try not to over do it, and maybe start your two / three week plain water no run off "flush" when the trychomes are almost all milky. Hope this helps ! 🚀

I found some aphids when i took one of my flowers off - around 5 or 6 big ones and a few small ones one one leaf. Wondering if I should just cut the rest down now before they kill my plant? also If I take the big buds off will the popcorn ones grow or should i cut the popcorn off

Patience is virtue my friend, growing three different strains and not expecting them to grow differently is normal. They all have different traits. Your durbon will probably be ready weeks before the other two. In going to follow you and check it out though as I think you're going to have some sexy buds and a comfortable yield! 🌱😁

You can try to use a 1 part whole organic milk to 9 parts water as a foliage spray to combat powdery mildew issues. It may help you out long enough for your buds to ripen. Also adding Bacillus Subtilis Strain QST 713 non genetically modified as a foilage spray is a good biological control to add to your future grows to combat botyritis type issues The morning dew is probably heavy on the plants at those temperatures. Good luck.👍

@jirjoo, Sounds like a plan a lot of northern growers in Canada are having similar issues
jirjoo
jirjoocommented5 years ago
@Philindicus, Thanks ... its the bud rot thats making me sad.... I think humidity is way to freaking high and its causing issues... i went and bought some moister absorbing packs to bring the humidity down to like 40% .. the good part is that when i built this little 'green house' i put in windows that close.. so i'm thinking of shutting the windows and sucking all the water out of the air :)

If your mould and rot problem gets real bad you can burn a couple of embers everynight inside your greenhouse or a small heater anything that will drop the humidity and moisture in the air! It will help

@Coconuts,FIRE!!! why didn't i think of that... that is not a bad idea..i'll give it a try if the moister pack thingies i got dont work out.. thanks mate!

Hey bud. Fellow Canadian here! Grow is looking pretty good. Try using some neem oil for those aphids. It's a great natural anti fungal / insecticide.

Good luck with fighting the aphids.....try to fight them natural, because everything you spray on your weed you consume... and kill all good insects

Hey there.. Your Pineapple Chunk looks to be the same age and good state as mine. I decided I had to force flower it and am now three days into keeping it in the dark for 12 hours for 2 weeks. I thought it had started flowering along with my autos but no, and it’s such an awesome plant so don’t want blow it at this stage. One Canadian guy commented that it would be okay to just let it go, but I decided to force it. Anyway good luck.

Neem oil is an organic bug/pest preventive that you apply regularly. Basil is a great companion plant for bug prevention. I have lemon balm and lavender in my garden that I mix with some wild chamomile that grows in my backyard. If you remove the lavender before it blooms, you can use it to make essential oils that you can burn, so double bug prevention. There are quite a few different companion plants to go along with ladybugs and the neem oil to help with bug prevention. Let me know if you have any other questions. Good luck! 👊
