soaked them for 24 hours almost. germinated in paper towel they came out pretty quickly. PChunk was the slowest. put them in sunshine mix#4 that was mixed with sea soil, cow and sheep manure, black dirt. PH was 6. direct to soil, my green house is probably not in the best place but gets around 10-12 hours of sunlight - 8 hours of it is direct.

Hi @jirjoo! Nice strains selection in here! This oddness is probably genetic-related, or a short stress due to the training made the leaf react this way. I would not worry at all, you can remove it if you want, most of your lowest leaves aren't going to be useful anyway. Hope this will help, keep us updated and happy growing! 👊

Leaving her alone jsutt moving some leaves and stems around so they all get light I got some molasses blackstarp and gave them some tea... Added some 20/20/20 , some bug bud (15ml) and some voodoo juice (5ml) in around 4l of water... (Jul3) Been cloudy and rainy last few days ... Damn the auto smells good though ..

Gave them some 20/20/20, some molasses, some baked and powdered eggshell... Auto is definitely flowering .. I'm getting a few aphids that I'm killing by hand but there has to be a better way .. thinking of spraying with garlic water to see if that gets them off .. The pinapple crunch responded well to the last round of pruning and LST she is looking happy .. The Durban poison seems like she aint growing much ... Same feed and light as the rest ... Jul 8 - been raining past few days .. today we might get some sun.. going to keep them in the green house for now .. next few days look horrendous ..

Water, 20/20/20, some pruning .. not sure if I should have but what's done is done... The auto is looking good and smelling nice .. not sure about the whole 10-11 weeks thing .. maybe from seedlings and that would give me another month? Anyways smells nice and fist time .. it's been fun so far and that's all that matters.... The durb and pinapple are coming along, not alot of sun and I'm wondering if I should force them ..

Hey there, these have just started to flower it seems , you should only really start P/K boosters when the buds are the size of your thumbs, so not yet actually , i would say you probably have something like 8 weeks ahead of you, but it might be less and it very well might be a lot more ! So to answer your question : yeah keep feeding, try not to over do it, and maybe start your two / three week plain water no run off "flush" when the trychomes are almost all milky. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Water to the auto rest are getting some 20/20/20 I think I'm gonna start giving the auto water or just organic tea from now on.. I think she looks very pretty The photos are getting big and tall, my neighbor bought some xmass lights and has them on all night ... I might have to like figure out a way to cover ... Jul 28- Noticed some yellowing on the inside leaves... Realized need to prune a bit... I think I smoked too much before taking the task on... But we got 2.5 more months of veg before 12/12 hits here...so fingers crossed I didn't f it up Jul 29- water today for every one...

Auto - getting water and nothing else from here.. i see colour changes weather is going to turn soon. i'm hoping to harvest before I have to go on a trip in 2 weeks... Durb and the PC are doing well. Growing and I've topped most of the branches off so more and more growth .. been shaking em to make the branches a bit thicker and ready to support flowers.. they are getting 20/20/20 + sensyzim and molasses tea this week. Been giving around 3L every 2 or so days.. depending on how hot it gets.. Durb is around 4Feet tall now and the PC is around 3Feet long now Aug 3- hot yesterday, hot today (26+).. have the photos water and some voodoo juice Gave the auto watery goodness. She smells good and looks pretty. Buds feel somewhat heavy we'll see once we dry and smoke it .. sooooooon aug 4th - another hot day . going to water the photos with some 20/20/20, FP auto gets water. she is stinky my whole back yard is starting to have pockets of awesome smell aug 5th - another HOT day going over 29C i reckon ... the auto looks almost there i think ...i LST'd the Durb last night as I'm expecting another stretch from all i've read. Aug 24th we hit 13h of light here.. so WOOOT! Aug 7 - another hot couple of last days... Always surprised on how much water is used on days like this. Gave all three 3l of water and no run off visible within 40 min (smoked one after watering and checked back). Durb and PC got some nutes(sensyzim, (20:1 urine), molasses, crushed up eggs ) Auto fp got just water ...

I took one of the 'smaller' flowers (not the popcorns those look raw) off the FP Auto - drying now - this is my first grow and this plant is my guide to the rest.. so sadly she gets the brunt of my stupidity :) That said I found some aphids when I was trimming the flower - wonder what to do here is the question of the week I guess Water for the FP Auto and 20/20/20 for the DP and PC. the two photos have taken over my 'green house', 2 freaking plants and pretty much have covered my 4'x6' area.. I've tried to keep all the tops around the same height we'll see if that works for me or not :) oh Right, I was kind of moving stuff around and possibly broke the main branch on the DP - used some wires to build a tourniquet for it Aug 10- so I've looked at the auto very closely, found 4 more aphids on the plant and killed em by hand and removed the leaf they were on ... We'll see what happens , she is close I reckon and I don't want to spray it... Durban and pinapple are just getting green and bushy.. I believe might be time to run some support strings now for when the flowers show.? Gonna rain today so no need for water .. the girls all got water last night Aug 12 - MOLD!!!!!! On my fruit punch auto. So I was doing my usual admiring of the smell when I noticed some grey leaves (2). Pulled on them gently and they came out, my heart sank as I understood the rot was within. I've taken all the big flowers off last night and sadly 2 of 4 had mold inside. Probably going to cut the rest today or tomorrow and inspect them to hell. I was thinking I'm safe cause it's been hot for 2 weeks, but upon closer inspection it seems that was the accelerator for the mold... Wet weight of what I've taken off so far 4.1oz off the fruit punch, sadly I think a good 3 oz was thrown out die to mold. Worries about the other two girls now, might prune them down a bit. Did a more thorough check found some more molding buds. I think I got most of it. Going to do some more cutting and hanging tonight probably and just harvest the rest of the fp auto. Pruning on Aug 13 for the two photos. I think the Durban is flowering which is early????

easy to grow, easy to take care of.. took a bit longer than what was described but i reckon thats due to me being outside, Canada, first time, and i probably stunned it with my attempts at training/pruning. Got Mold and had to throw half of it away (we had a few weeks of HOT +29c and with the humidity ... ) so probably would have got alot more.. but damn it smells good and tastes good. when I smoke it.. its a head high, with my face feeling red (its not) ... but that goes away in 30 min or so and then the body high kicks in and takes me down (if i smoked 2 im done)

Gave them a good watering before i went way 15th - I'll come back and post dried weight for the FP auto, lost fair amount to mold sadly but hey learning lessons I hope. came back to the Durban in flower (I think??) and the Pineapple chunk just growing and preflowerish .. I think its early but im not complaining for now at least.. probably will spend some time today giving the Pineapple a haircut and give them some food/water. between 15 and 18th they had no water, they must be thirsty i reckon the pots feel a little light.

Patience is virtue my friend, growing three different strains and not expecting them to grow differently is normal. They all have different traits. Your durbon will probably be ready weeks before the other two. In going to follow you and check it out though as I think you're going to have some sexy buds and a comfortable yield! 🌱😁

You can try to use a 1 part whole organic milk to 9 parts water as a foliage spray to combat powdery mildew issues. It may help you out long enough for your buds to ripen. Also adding Bacillus Subtilis Strain QST 713 non genetically modified as a foilage spray is a good biological control to add to your future grows to combat botyritis type issues The morning dew is probably heavy on the plants at those temperatures. Good luck.👍

@jirjoo, Sounds like a plan a lot of northern growers in Canada are having similar issues
jirjoo
jirjoocommented5 years ago
@Philindicus, Thanks ... its the bud rot thats making me sad.... I think humidity is way to freaking high and its causing issues... i went and bought some moister absorbing packs to bring the humidity down to like 40% .. the good part is that when i built this little 'green house' i put in windows that close.. so i'm thinking of shutting the windows and sucking all the water out of the air :)
Coconuts
Coconutscommentedweek 185 years ago
If your mould and rot problem gets real bad you can burn a couple of embers everynight inside your greenhouse or a small heater anything that will drop the humidity and moisture in the air! It will help

Hey there.. Your Pineapple Chunk looks to be the same age and good state as mine. I decided I had to force flower it and am now three days into keeping it in the dark for 12 hours for 2 weeks. I thought it had started flowering along with my autos but no, and it’s such an awesome plant so don’t want blow it at this stage. One Canadian guy commented that it would be okay to just let it go, but I decided to force it. Anyway good luck.

Neem oil is an organic bug/pest preventive that you apply regularly. Basil is a great companion plant for bug prevention. I have lemon balm and lavender in my garden that I mix with some wild chamomile that grows in my backyard. If you remove the lavender before it blooms, you can use it to make essential oils that you can burn, so double bug prevention. There are quite a few different companion plants to go along with ladybugs and the neem oil to help with bug prevention. Let me know if you have any other questions. Good luck! 👊
