spinner In the first week, I watered with 2L straight away using Advanced Nutrients, I applied the ml/L nutrient dosages to the full 2L of water, except for the late bloomer, which only got 400ml water without nutrients.

spinner The plants handled the 2L watering well. Right after that, they got their first 'Bar Mitzvah'. This week, I also watered the small Sleepy Yoda #2 with 2L and nutrients, while the other plants received 2.5L.

spinner Though Sleepy Yoda #2 grows misshapen, I choose to honor her journey, allowing her to live and taste life to its bitter, final conclusion. When I woke up today on July 14th, I noticed that my controller had reset itself. Despite being set to a maximum of 70%, the AC Infinity humidifier went full blast, leading to 100% humidity and a VPD of 0.01. The exhaust fan was also completely turned off. Everything was perfectly fine when I went to sleep around 2:00 AM, but by 8:00 AM, the entire tent was soaking wet. Fortunately, the plants recovered well from the stress over the course of the day... you can see it in the pictures marked 'x_x'.

spinner Week 2 of flowering is underway, and the garden is looking more interesting every day. One of the biggest surprises continues to be Sleepy Yoda #2. Despite being the small, crippled-looking plant from the start, she is actually doing much better than expected. Growth has picked up noticeably and she is finally starting to make real progress. It will be interesting to see how far she can go during the flowering phase. I have not started feeding with the scheduled nutrients yet. The soil is still holding enough moisture, so there has been no need to water. The first feeding with the nutrients listed in the schedule will likely happen within the next 2–3 days, once the medium has dried out a bit more. Throughout the week, I have been selectively removing fan leaves to improve light penetration to the lower branches and developing bud sites. This has helped open up the canopy and ensure that the lower growth receives adequate light. The Sleepy Yoda genetics continue to be quite entertaining. One phenotype is the small mutant that struggled early on, while the other is doing the exact opposite. On that plant, the side branches are catching up to the main stem and in some cases (picture is marked with x_x), are growing even more aggressively. The contrast between the two plants is pretty funny and makes this grow especially interesting to follow. Meanwhile, Alien OG and Wurlz are showing excellent vigor. Both varieties are pushing hard into flowering and displaying strong, healthy growth. They have a lot of energy and are clearly eager to perform. If they continue at this pace, they should develop into impressive plants over the coming weeks. Overall... Flowering Week 2 has been full of positive progress, unique genetics and plenty of signs that the garden is heading in the right direction.
