Summer Grow 2026

Skynet My training game needs work but so far so good. I don't hit a problem until week 4 when the GrowDots run out and lower leaves begin to yellow. Feeding fixed them, or helped me manage the issue.

Skynet Plants are in love with the Blumats. They explode through the stretch starting in wk 2 and end up (the 3 Crystal Cookies) the tallest plants I've ever grown (about 4') but stacked with bud sites. We had a brutal heat wave in Wk 2-3 so I'm wondering if the two CC in the back were stunted or if they're just the same pheno, skinnier with less girth (yeah I said it) than the front right CC. LiT can't keep up, the structure isn't my favorite with lots of leaves and some of that might have to do with the 15" height difference and light intensity. Light intensity has been a bear for me to figure out, but with better guidance I'm seeing more developed plants at 7 wks. I still expect to go 10-11 wks to get the desired effect but for all of Veg and the first 4 weeks of Flower this grow was a dream. They're responding well so far to my hybrid/schizo approach, using Blumats and GrowDots to get them to Wk4 of flower, then doing a full Flora Feed schedule to the end but it's a little tricky getting the timing right.

Skynet Blumats had to be pulled in Wk 4 bc leaves were showing signs of hunger, loss of nitrogen. My mistake was not feeding the full Flora series along with Grow and Liquid Kool Bloom.

Skynet Feeding every water since Week 4 (the Crystal Cookies). The LiT didn't want to be fed, reacted poorly to even some feeding in Week 5 so I've just watered with CalMag and Sweet while feeding the CC's. Not surprised with the InHouse girls looking twice as tall and producing twice the bud sites (at least). LiT was an experiment, and may not be fair with only 1 plant in there, but the CC's have been the tallest, most robust, with the most nodes and some of the best stacking I've ever grown. They're still 3-4 weeks away minimum but feeding regularly has helped with yellowing lower leaves so I'll think they'll make it now.

Skynet Why am I still figuring out Terra Aquatica products vs General Hydroponics products? Frustrating. Not Bloom Booster (can't even find a npk value on that product) but Liquid Kool Bloom 0-10-10 (doesn't seem to be an equivalent in TA's lineup). Not Fulvic but Diamond Nectar. Lights were cranked up to 100 and lowered at the start of week 4 (I'm measuring with Lux so it's not perfect but it was suddenly obvious how much more light I could give my girls once I saw the numbers) and GrowDots ran out around the same time so almost overnight I had 3 very hungry huge plants, and 1 (LiT LCB) considerably smaller and less hungry. So what did I do? Fed them all the same amount, as if the LiT was starving too (just laziness on my part, thinking it was about to show signs). LiT has been overfed since then, and I backed off the last 2 feedings (just W and CalMag + Sweet). By contrast, the 3x InHouse girls just stayed hungry. Under-developed so I knew the yellowing leaves were a bad sign. Went to a full regimen of the Flora Series for weeks 4-8 and fed every single time. In weeks 4-5 I should've added FloraGrow and LiqKoolBloom as well, so they limped along for a couple of weeks before I added both in Week 6 and since then yellowing leaves have slowed down. I've read that Growdots only last about 60 days (no experience with the longer-acting blend for longer veg) and that's been my exp as well. I just love the way my plants go apeshit at the end of Veg and during the stretch when they're in an auto-watering system so I will continue with this hybrid approach- GrowDots and no food for the first 12 weeks, including about 6-8 weeks hooked up to Blumats. Once I hit week 4 from now on I'll read the plants but unless they're dark green and plugging away I'll start feeding by the end of that week regardless. I do multiple tops so plants just eat more. If I can't pull this system/style off as well with my next grow, I might abandon GrowDots but keep the Blumats schedule. After 5 years, I'm still figuring shit out. Good luck friends! Skynet Full feeding every water for the Crystal Cookies (x3) bc they've been starving since Wk4. General rule has been- if they're green and happy: WWW or maybe WFW but if they're showing any signs of being hungry: FWF or FFF if they're starving. The last 2 weeks I've fed all 3 Crystal Cookies every other day, maybe every 2 days max bc they're just drinking so much so fast. The LiT is only asking for water every 3-4 days and still doesn't seem to need any food at all, still feeding off the Growdots than typically only go about 60 days. In fact I fed her twice since Wk4 and both times she looked pissed about it after- spotted leaves, badly burnt tips (not the good kind). The real challenge this week (and for the rest of the grow) has been a brutal humidity wave in the 80's and 90% for 4-5 days now and it looks like more of the same for another week plus. I'm in a shed, so it's a hybrid set-up that's more indoors than out, but still vulnerable to humidity. A window ac brings temps and rh way down, bc the dehumidifier just cranks out too much heat. So far so good but I'm nervous about depending on an old window ac to finish up with so so many marijuanas on the line, but if I'm lucky maybe the big girls will finish in the next 10 days. Last note here- the light intensity has been huge for me this grow, and with guidance and a light meter (lux meter but good enough) the yield and quality have really ramped up. I didn't realize that I needed to turn my 480w led to 100% so early in flower but just as important - I needed to lower it too. Just get a cheap meter, and stop guessing. ✊😤
