Eishobbit As soon as the first roots reach into the reservoir, the drip kit is turned off. The programming of the scenes is a bit tricky, but it works well afterwards. The environmental control through the 10-socket power strip from the Mars Hydro system is quite good for integrating external components. For example, the Vivosun fan regulates the humidity for me, while the two USB fans are timed to create a balanced tent climate without wind stress. 😜

Eishobbit Update: Right now, I'm putting an ice pack in the buckets 2x a day. This keeps the water temp at 24-25°C. The girls have access to the reservoir. The drip kit has been turned off. The next milestone is to raise the EC value to 1.5 ms. I think this will happen around week 3. Let it grow.

Eishobbit Update: EC now set to 1.60 and pH 6. Things are still going well. Adjusted EC to 1.45 at pH 6.0. Next week, we’ll be using cooling packs for the buckets again. Today, there’s a Neem prophylaxis, which will be repeated in 10 days. Let it Grow.

Eishobbit Update 08.17.2026 A bit of LST and a first timelapse video. 08.15.2026 Hey there, removed 2 fan leaves each. The stretch is starting, so I'm feeding a bit more Green Sensation. The nutrient mix is always prepared in a 5L storage bucket and added gradually. What the plant consumes is topped up. The Swiss Dream Auto has surpassed the bushier-growing Wedding Glue in size. Hopefully, today will be the last time I use ice packs. In 3 days, the second and final Neem prophylaxis will take place. Let's see when I can increase the light intensity; the weather is supposed to get cooler. The carbon filter is on standby at 28% and ramps up to 45% power as needed. The fans are currently on a timer, running for 5 minutes every 4 hours to avoid wind stress. Otherwise, the system is doing a great job. LET'S GROW! 😎
