Hempcules WEEK 1
I’m starting a new run here with a Slush Mint Cake from Dutch Passion. I soaked the seed in water for 24 hours and then placed it in moist paper towels until it germinated. After that, it goes into a 35L pot filled with a mix of Lightmix and Allmix. This plant gets its tent all to itself, so I’m hoping to grow a really big one. The strain has already won several awards, and I’m always impressed by Dutch Passion’s work. I’m excited to see how it turns out. 🙂

Hempcules WEEK 2
My Slush Mint Cake had a pretty crippled start. It only grew on one side, but otherwise it looks very healthy. In the meantime, a small but proper pair of leaves has developed, and I hope things will continue upward from here. 🙂Conditions are very good for me right now. Temperature and humidity are on point, and there’s solid air exchange as well. Let’s see how things progress with this special lady. 😅

Hempcules WEEK 3
My Slush Mint Cake continues to grow in a very crippled, twisted way. Without topping or anything similar, three fairly symmetrical shoots have developed on their own. I’ll try to make something out of it. Otherwise, she looks healthy and is growing at a decent pace.
I’ve already considered starting over with a new seed, but for now I’ll give her a chance. Nobody is perfect. 😉

Hempcules WEEK. 4
My Slush Mint Cake has actually turned out really well by now, despite her deformed start. Because of the initial mutation, she developed three fairly even shoots at the same height, and I topped all of them once. That worked nicely, and I’m planning to repeat the process again next week.
She’s now continuing to grow symmetrically, just as she should. Aside from that, she has already developed a strong main stem and overall makes a very healthy impression.

Hempcules WEEK 5
My Slush Mint Cake is growing quite well so far. I topped her a second time, and unfortunately two shoots snapped off. Because of that, the plant is a bit asymmetrical.
I’ll keep her in the vegetative phase for a little longer and try to develop a few more nice shoots and a balanced canopy. Otherwise, she looks healthy.

Hempcules WEEK 6
My Slush Mint Cake is making steady progress. I topped her again during the week, and now I’ve got 16 shoots growing out further. The plan is to repeat that one more time and then send her into flowering.
So far things haven’t been all that great, but I’m now trying to train the plant more horizontally to widen her structure. Let’s see how well that works.

Hempcules WEEK 7
The week was good for my plant. I defoliated it thoroughly and set up a net. Now I’m letting the many shoots fill out the net and sending the plant into the flowering phase.
Other than that, there were no problems, and the plant looks healthy. Although I feel like it’s not growing all that fast, but it’s ok.

Hempcules WEEK 8
My Slush Mint Cake is growing along healthily, but so far she has a very compact structure and doesn’t fill out my net quite as much as I’d like. I’ve decided to send the plant into the flowering phase now, and on the last day of this week I switched the lights to 12 hours.
I hope I can get my tent nicely and evenly filled over the next few weeks. I also defoliated again, since many leaves were covering some of the shoots. After that I used Boomboomspray once more.
Now I’m looking forward to the first flowers and hope she’ll put in a good run. 🙂

@Momentum, it's a bit chaotic. The plant is growing quite compact, so it's a bit of a mess. I've sent it into flowering now, so hopefully it will take shape. 😅
