MindFlowers68 This round of auto-flowers should be pretty sweet. Picked out some cool stuff from Kannabia a little while back. I decided to do this inside rather than outside like I was planning too. With how the weather has been, I think I can manage it in my veg tent despite running my baby photoperiods at the same time. I have my two Vipar P1000's on the bottom of the shelf where I had my mom plants. It fits 4, 5 gallon pots perfectly. I wish I left the bottom shelf out because it would give me another 4 inches of canopy space if I had the pots siting at ground level. One day I might at least move all the shelves up to make that bottom area a 3 foot tall section .That way I can veg plants for about 4-5 weeks there. It should work out really nice with my timing right now. My photoperiods have 3 weeks before they can go into the flower tents and by that time these seedlings should be about the right height I can put them where the photoperiods are now to finish up and flower. Then I can use my shelves to start my next round of photoperiods and continue the cycle. I mixed up some new soil with the stuff i have in my recent soil mix diary. Everything except the worm castings. I used what I had so I had to leave them out. My worm bins have cycled some material now, with the help of black soldier fly larvae, so I should be able to harvest some worm casting soon and top dress. I decided to try using peroxide mixed with the water i used 300 ml of water and 200 ml of 3 percent hydrogen peroxide and it seemed to help a little. Everything germinated really good except the amnesia seed got put in upside down by mistake and around day 5 I poked around a little and found the taproot sticking up and cotyledon's going straight down so I transplanted it back upright. The next day not seeing too much improvement, out of precaution just planted another seed because this one is already going to take longer than the other most likely so didn't want to get too behind. I soaked the seeds overnight about 12 hours like I normally do than direct in substrate and the others came up on day 3-4. They hade cute little seed hats. Another thing the amnesia and strawberry haze didn't sink when i tapped them several times to get them to sink but they kept floating so wanted to test them anyway some people say if they don't sink they aren't viable, but I think they just needed to soak maybe a little longer than 12 hours. They both popped but I think it was my mistake about the amnesia not being on its side, I thought it was. I never had one germinate upside down before.
