Germination

JackOfAllTrades Hey there and welcome to my indoor grow! Finally, it's that time again! Exactly one week ago, the 3 seeds went into Jiffys. 72 hours later, they all germinated pretty much at the same time. The day after, when the root was visible at the bottom, they were planted into their 8.5-liter AutoPots. The substrate consists of 50% BioCanna Terra Plus, 40% Plagron Perlite, and 10% homemade worm humus from a friend. Of course, my dry fertilizer collection can't be missing. Each pot was enriched with the following fertilizers: Neudorff Azet Garden Fertilizer 30 g, Neudorff Terra Petra 30 g, BioTabs Startrex 40 g, BioTabs Silicon Flash 20 g. The ladies were watered with 500 ml of tap water. Now, let's talk about the genetics. For this run, I chose the Black Lobster from Cipher Genetics. Black Lobster is a cross between Facade (VIP Cut) x Blue Lobster. Main Trees and Cipher Genetics keep the Blue Lobster Cut under wraps, which is why there are no (official) Blue Lobster S1/BX seeds, etc., just crosses with other genetics. The exciting part is that Facade and Blue Lobster both have the same parents: Apples & Bananas x Eye Candy. So, in that sense, Black Lobster is an F2 cross. I hope to get as close as possible to the original Blue Lobster with this cross. With a bit of luck, there’s something promising among the 3 phenos. ______________________________________________________ Genetics: Black Lobster (Facade VIP x Blue Lobster) Light: approx. 500 ppfd Temp & Rlf.: 23-29 degrees & 73%

JackOfAllTrades Hello and welcome to my indoor grow! The 3 ladies are doing splendidly. At first, they were a bit leggy, despite the strong light (600 PPFD). In hindsight, this was probably due to the warm temperatures (29+). Now, there is nothing left to see of that. Today, I topped the 3. I like to top early so that not too much energy is lost with the cut main stem. As a small compensation, they were watered with the bio-enhancer. Now they can first recover from the stress and continue to grow. _____________________________________________________ Genetics: Black Lobster (Facade VIP x Blue Lobster) Light: approx. 600 ppfd Temp & Rlf.: 23-29 degrees & 73%

JackOfAllTrades Hey there and welcome to my indoor grow! Fresh back from vacation, it's time to continue. I'm quite satisfied with the ladies. Unfortunately, a few too many leaves were removed, and 2 branches had to be sacrificed during training, but they'll bounce back from that. The AutoPot system has been taking great care of them again. This time, the tank water is being treated with Athena CalMg. Athena CalMg has less nitrogen than the one from Canna, which is particularly interesting for flowering. I'm curious to see how the nutrient addition will perform. So the ladies are ready for flowering :D. ______________________________________________________ Genetics: Black Lobster (Facade VIP x Blue Lobster) Light: approx. 500 ppfd Temp & Rlf.: 23-29 degrees & 73%

Black lobster is technically a blue lobster back cross right? Blue lobster is a facade pheno from what I gather. Anyways you’re giving me confidence to top plant earlier. I always wait 5-6 nodes.
