Abendkraut This is the 3rd of 5 Autoflowering Seeds I got from a Set Zamnesia put together. I'm planning on growing one plant every month allowing a monthly cycle of harvests. For those asking what happened with Seed No. 1 or 2? No. 1 is the London Pound Cake, check the diary on my profile. Unfortunately No. 2 the "Peanut Butter Breath" Seed didn't germinate. One Failed out of 3 for now.

Abendkraut After a week since sprouting, it's not really growing fast. Flimsy thin leaves and unfortunately the 4th leaf is growing wrinkled. Which slows down the photosynthesis and growth by extension.

Abendkraut What a pain! From the get go having 3 botched leaves is just bad. I will deduce points at the end of the diary. She is only getting water and a stable environment. I blame the seed genetics at this point. As you can see only leaves 5 & 6 are growing normally. Hopefully this will increase the photosynthesis and growth speed.

Abendkraut After 3 weeks of painful slow growth. These past 4 days I saw a real improvement on every end. The stem is more resilient, the leaves are finally growing without complications. Yes we are at least 1 week behind on Schedule and I hope the auto flowering won't start until it reaches a certain size. Well I keeping it anyway even if just as a teaching experience.

Abendkraut I transplanted her into a bigger 7L pot. I did again increase in size but as I feared the plant auto switched to flowering already. This slow start wouldn't be a problem on photoperiodic plants but in this case nothing I can do about it

Abendkraut I mananged to apply some training to the already in early flowering plant. Although I broke a branch while trying to bend it. It was very flexible so I didn't go very smoothly about it. Lesson learned.

Abendkraut I'm actually surprised how fast it budded up. Pistils are quite thick and the flowers are feeling quite tight for this early in flowering phase.
