ShivaShanti Pound Cake Auto @ 12 days. This auto is growing quite eagerly. Springing to about 10" in 12 short days. Growing in an experimental custom medium. Fox Farm original mix and Fox Farm Ocean mix. Bat Guano, BioChar, Miracle-Gro Enriched Perlite, Vermiculite, Worm Castings, Fish Bone Meal, Peat Moss, Bonsai Micro Lava Rock. Feeding with captured Rainwater, SuperThrive, Miracle-Gro Tomato Fertilizer (barely any Miracle-Gro ½ Tbls per 2 gallon water. TPS ONE Organic Nutrients. I will keep natural stature and apply No Training throughout the grow. This is an experiment. I do not use cannabis, growing solely for ornamental purposes. ShivaShanti Pound Cake Auto by Fastbuds is feeding heavily. We are just around day 20, explosive rapid growth is just beginning as we enter flowering stage. White Pistals are just now visible close up. So far Pound Cake Auto has been the most vigorous growing autoflower I have ever grown. My Strawberry Gorilla RF3, Gorilla Cookies, and Purple Lemonade both have much weaker growth. I also started one from a mixed pack from Fastbuds originals line and the seedling just looks frozen in time. Hasn't done a thing since germination.

ShivaShanti Pound Cake Auto by Fastbuds just at the beginning of its 4th week alive, I don't even believe its a month old yet. Super Fast Growth. Just about a week into flower. This is turning into my most robust autoflower that im growing. Its blown past Strawberry Gorilla RF3, Gorilla Cookies, Purple Lemonade, and my photoperiod Jack's Dream. I'd say 2nd place to Gorilla Cookies, 3rd place to Purple Lemonade, and 4th place to Strawberry Gorilla RF3. Jack's Dream has yet to pre-flower and thats just dandy. No expectations for any of them. Interesting note: The two seeds I started from Fastbuds Original Line Mixed Bag popped with barely any vigor and fizzled out at the first set of true leaves. Possible old seeds? My Arjans Strawberry Haze Photos did the same thing. Now I know why people pull out low vigor autos and start over, after confirming they have been stunted. Anywho, follow along my Pound Cake Auto journey, soon it should get pretty interesting.

ShivaShanti Pound Cake Auto by Fastbuds week 5-ish. She has stretched leaps and bounds and we begin to see white pistols and many bud sights. The plant has a lovely Sativa stature, is medium sized for an autoflower, structure is light and airy, she will need support in the future to hold up her heavy flowers. Interesting plant to grow. If I would have used a larger 5-7 gal pot, this plant would have grown rather large for an autoflower. Growing outdoors. Pound Cake Autos smell is very strong, even at the beginning of flower. Look forward to watching the next stage. Feeding heavily everyday, organics and salt based, she hasn't complained one bit. This is an experiment, im trying to see how far I can push the nutrients. Feeding SuperThrive, TPS one and TPS bloom boost, and just a touch of Miracle Grow Bloom. Her leaves have no signs of over Feeding and she has been praying constantly. Rapid growth. I wish I could say the same for Gorilla Strawberry RF3 and Purple Lemonade both had very poor vigor, same soil mix, same watering, same everything except feeding much less because of their poor vigor. Had some bug damage and that may have caused the poor vigor. They are both hitting their stretch now much slower than the pound cake auto of which was a Freebie Seed. Go figure.

ShivaShanti Pound Cake Auto, this particular plant had explosive growth from day one. I am very impressed with its vigor. The Sativa stature is even more pronounced this week. Look at that classic pyramid shape with its airy light structure, its just beautifully designed. I worry the branches will be unable to support heavy flowers. Since it is so Sativa dominant I do expect light, airy, fluffy, mold resistant, skinny flowers. Since my region is very close to the equator, this genetic is right at home. Could be why I experienced such explosive growth. Lets continue to watch this gorgeous plant as it blazes through its flowering phase. What a pleasure to witness.

ShivaShanti Start of the 7th week of life. Starting to put all its energy into flowering. Lets continue to observe its flowering cycle. Beautiful plant. Beautiful growth structure. Amazingly beautiful and so elegant.

ShivaShanti Pound Cake Auto by fastbuds continues to develop its many flower sites. Stems are slowly thickening as the flowers get heavier. Smell is very strong. This plant has been nothing but happy throughout its entire life. Not much else to say but let's continue to watch Pound Cake Auto finish its flowering cycle.

ShivaShanti Pound Cake Auto is filling out nicely. I have switched nutrients and fertilizers from TPS One TPS Bud Hardener to Fox Farms Big Bloom which is essentially Bat Guano and Worm Castings. When I crafted my custom soil mix I used 30% Fox Farm Ocean Mix and 30% Fox Farm Happy Frog Mix, I added 10% Pure Bat Guano, 10% Worm Castings, 10% BioChar 10% Chunky Perlite, a touch of Vermiculite, a touch of Peat Moss, a touch of Mini Lava Rock for Bonsai Trees. The Ocean Blend has bat guano, worm castings, and Mycroryzomes or however you spell that. Its already in the mix. Its an experimental mix for sure. So im not really certain what will happen by using the Fox Farms Big Bloom Nutrients, will I have denser flowers? Larger Flowers? Not quite sold on the claims. I can tell by the plants stature and flower shape as too what size flowers I should expect in the end. These plants pray to the sun every single day and I only had fertilizer burn when I used Miracle Gro Bloom Booster (I used as directed) the plants did not love the Miracle Gro Bloom Booster, so I discontinued use immediately. Additionally, SuperThrive Vitamin Mix has not really made any significant effect on the plants. I've always used it from germination to end of flower. I may do a control experiment to try and see if there are any differences by applying SuperThrive or not applying SuperThrive. What an interesting plant Pound Cake Auto has become. Absolutely beautiful and its a nice size. I will be moving into heavy indica varietals as we go into winter. I have planted Lemon Cherry Cookies Auto, LSD25 Auto, and Banana Purple Punch Auto, keep an eye out for those journeys if you're interested. Winter months where I reside have much lower humidity. Lower daily temperatures. Barely any rain, so mold and mildew are of less danger. Otherwise I could do only Sativa dominate strains due to humidity and heat. Lets see how Pound Cake Auto finishes up. ShivaShanti Pound Cake Auto flowers are filling out nicely. I can't get over the Sativa shape and characteristics. She is an absolute gem of a plant and never complained her entire life cycle. PCA rocked from the beginning and is quickly filling out her flowers. The scent is very pleasant and strong, especially in the early morning hours. Lets continue to follow her to the end.

ShivaShanti Pound Cake Auto continues to bulk slowly. This plant is taking a tad longer to flower compared to Gorilla Cookies which flew through its entire life. The scent is like lemony piney sweet gas skunkiness, smells like sweet cannabis. Im not the best at explaining scents. This is probably my largest auto yet. The flowers are fluffy sativa like buds. Full of trichomes. Kinda leafy compared to the purple lemonade or gorilla cookies. You can see by the photos, the leaves are intertwined in between the flowers in a corkscrew type pattern. This genetic could grow quite large if grown in the ground or even in a larger 7 gallon pot. I expect to harvest this plant in the next 3 weeks or so. Pound Cake Auto will tell me when its time. Lets keep an eye on Pound Cakes last few weeks of life.

ShivaShanti Pound Cake Auto still week 8-9 just wanted to add more photos in good lighting. In the morning these plants all look so beautiful and happy at the first taste of sunlight. Her flowers are very Sativa and fluffy/airy in density. Im hoping they start to fill out more. Otherwise we'll have a real fluff fest at the end. Edit: I decided to post a night shot. She is wrapped in very fine trichomes. Beautiful little pinkish and red tipped calyxes. The smell emanating from her is delightful and very strong. I am getting a bit nervous about her strong smell wafting through the neighborhood. Hoping it will dissipate quickly on the wind. Thats all I got to say about that.

ShivaShanti Pound Cake Auto is telling me its time to harvest. Her previously strong scent is waning and weakening. Her leaves are beginning to look old and tired as the plant sucks everything it can nutrition wise out. It was time to harvest a week ago in my mind, now she is beginning to degrade in scent and terpenes. Her flowers are fluffy Sativa like in density. Which makes total sense as Pound Cake Auto is mostly Sativa. I will begin the harvesting procedure tomorrow morning. I did locate one speck of butritis near what looks like insect or caterpillar damage. Other than this small insect damaged area. She is clean from Mold or Mildew. She did ride out 3 days of hurricane storm bands. It was wet and high humidity for this period. She is not at 12 weeks more like 10 weeks total time. Will report after harvest. Edit: I've had a good second and third look at this lady and she is indeed ready. Fluffy/Airy flowers are normal with Sativa. Add consistent 80°F-85°F daily, highs to 90°F, average 80% humidity and daily two hour thunderstorms. What else can I expect. I am very interested in the Indica Dominant Varietals I have started in the last week or so. The weather will be picture perfect for them and flower density will be spectacular with super low humidity and average temps in the 70s F. Can't wait to see what happens. Harvest for Pound Cake Auto commences after the morning dew burns off.

ShivaShanti Pound Cake Auto by fastbuds was grew very large, very fast. Yield was more than ive ever had on any other autoflower. Flowers are a Sativa in density, the entire plant was Sativa dominant. She grew into a small Christmas tree shape as a Sativa does traditionally. I was very surprised by its high vigor. Would I grow Pound Cake Auto again. Probably not. As I do not use cannabis and grow for ornamental purposes only. The flowers looked and smelled amazing. Kind of sweet and then a bit of garlic on the nose this morning as I harvested the flowers. Heavy cannabis aroma for sure. Will edit and update upon drying and curing. Aroma may change to something more cake like. Very nice plant. Be prepared for a medium to large sized plant. Aroma is very strong so keep this in mind while growing. I suggest anyone to grow this variety at least one time to see how it performs for you.
