ChillSpace I decided to squeeze in another generation of autos even with the breeding project starting to ramp up. I’ve got the extra space right now, so I might as well keep it productive while the Platinum Lantz project develops and I work through sex testing and selections. I’m definitely shifting more toward the photo breeding side of things, but I still love growing autos and there was no reason to leave three perfectly good spots empty lol. All 3 are officially germinated and in their final 5 gallon pots. Do-Si-O’z was first to crack at 22 hours, 5 O’Z 5 followed at 27 hours, and TKO’Z took its sweet time but finally opened up at 34 hours lol. I let each one open just enough that I knew germination was confirmed before moving them. I’d rather get them into the soil at that point than let the taproots get long and risk messing with them more than necessary. I used a little Bison Seed Coat directly at each planting site before putting them into the soil, then covered each spot with a glass to make a little humidity dome. It’s a really simple way to keep the humidity high right where it actually matters without having to crank the humidity in the entire tent. Now all three are germinated, planted directly into their final 5 gallon homes, and tucked under their little glasses. Just waiting for them to push through the soil and get going.
