RockoCalenberg White Gushers Cake – Germination Update I placed the seeds between damp cotton pads and kept them evenly moist. After two days, three had germinated. The other two seeds were a bit lighter; after another two days, one of them also germinated. I potted the first three. Two days later, the first seedling stretched its little head out of the soil. 👍 The last seed is now even lighter and more faded. So I don't expect it to come up anymore. As it stands, I assume that four out of five will make it and one will fail. UPDATE Well, look at that – never say never! 😄 The last White Gushers Cake made it after all. So now all five have germinated. ...😀 Now we can get started! 🔃 We are very excited that the seeds are finally here! 🌱 All five are set to germinate – now I'm curious about the germination rate and especially how quickly and evenly they come up. Especially with fresh seeds, I hope for a quick and as uniform a start as possible without any major latecomers. 🧡 The goal is to get them growing as quickly as possible so we can start selection early and finally choose our two candidates for the Cake Off. 1️⃣➕2️⃣ Now it's time to keep our fingers crossed for a strong start – and hopefully, there are two lovely ladies among them! 🤞🌱 Let the grow begin! 💚 Bake a sweeter tomorrow 🍰✌️
