Leave me alone! Round #1 Gelonade

chlapeczlesa Hey growers! I have another round here, this time we're moving to a smaller 60x60x180 tent and we'll be running just one lady, specifically Gelonade from Sweed Seeds. I chose this strain based on its terpene profile, so we'll see how citrus blends with diesel. I planted two seeds and after about two weeks, I selected the better candidate and transplanted her into a 15L autopot.

chlapeczlesa We’re in the first week since the switch, still under 150W Mars Hydro. I'm thinking about getting a bit more powerful light. Using 3D printed stakes, I’m managing to keep all the branches at the same height and shaping the plant into some kind of wreath...

chlapeczlesa Second week after the switch. It's growing nicely, stretching is in full swing, quite a tall internode, we'll see.

chlapeczlesa 3rd week of flowering. She's already a pretty girl and has nice little buds. With Autopot and AN nutrients, it's a carefree ride...

chlapeczlesa We're in week 4, I finally got around to buying a stronger light and I have to say that the SanLight EVO 3-60 is really a precise product. Defoliation has happened, I completely stripped the lower parts.

chlapeczlesa In the 5th week of flowering, we were on vacation with the family, but the Autopot took care of everything, I actually don't need to be here at all. I just threw in the net, even though the stretching was already over, but you never know, right? Just a few pics from the camera...

chlapeczlesa Week 7 of flowering. I'm starting to watch the trichomes and thinking about whether to stop using nutrients for the last week and do some flushing... probably not, I'll just stick to the basics.

chlapeczlesa And here we apparently have the last week, the eighth one. This cycle has gone incredibly smoothly, and there have been no deficiencies at any stage. Hopefully, that pesky mold won't show up in the end. These are really heavy, dense buds, and quite voluminous too, they smell beautiful!

chlapeczlesa So yeah, the day before yesterday I started a diary for her and yesterday the poor thing went down. Compared to the NFT hydro, growing with Autopot and the pH perfect formula was absolutely easy. The plant produced dense, hard, and heavy buds that really smell like citrus. Unfortunately, one of the eight tops in the back corner was hit by botrytis and I had to throw it away. Still a decent yield. I cleaned the wet ones and I'm drying them in dryferm bags on a rack. I'll add the smoke report later. In the hallway, more candidates are already waiting for the next round.
