Dropped them in plain reverse osmosis water on Sunday July 14 at 730pm. I'll let these soak for around 18-24 hrs then if they havnt already popped I'll put them in a paper towel for another 24 hours. After they pop I'll either put them into solo cups which I havnt done in years or I'll put them in the final pots if i can get over to the hydro shop for some coco in time. Havnt had the best luck with autos recently so I'm not sure how this will go but let's give it a shot. I'll be 1 armed for another couple weeks but i think well figure it out.
Update
7.17 almost 100% germ rate, never moved them to paper towel they ended up soaking for 36ish hours. Only 1 of 2 FBT5 did not germinate but I put it in a wet towel to give it another chance. They then went into a 50/50 coco:soil mix, into 18 oz solo cups, with a sprinkle of living organics powder from Green Buzz Liquids on top. The feed I gave them consisted mostly of enzymes, humid acid and mycos ppm 250 ph 5.95. Went into humidity dome with the rest of my autos under 19.5 Hrs light. Once I clean on my 4x4 they will be moved into that so I can have the lights lowered to avoid too much stretch. Plan is to transplant from the solo cups to the final pots which will be 3 gallon Radicle Bags.
Most of them made it only 1 six shooter definitely didnt make it and a cream cookies is a lil stuck. I threw a mexican airlines in the old six shooter cup but just letting it germinate in the soil I havnt done that in a while. They are going to get another feed tmm. The medium is a 50/50 coco/soil mix since I'm using the green buzz and its organic I figured a little soil might be beneficial. Day 7 from germination they should be ready to go into their final pots in the next few days.
Couple got a little burn I think maybe a little too much soil in there with the coco on top of the light feed? I got all the final pots filled up today they will go in 3 gal bags either today or tmm. It's a Greentree pro ultra coco/perlite mixed with some roots organic soil about 70/30.
This one was transplanted a couple days after the bigger ones so still small just hoping it builds its roots before pre flower. They all got moved into the 4x4 with the jimmy rigged 180w quantum board light built from ceiling tile grid. The tnb co2 is newish but I gotta get the heat up and bring in a more powerful light to take full advantage.
Had some pretty solid growth this week out of most of them, I think the ppm of the media is a little high from some run off I checked so I plan to give them a light feed with heavy run off tomorrow. The pots are drying out in 48 hrs about.
This one is a little slower growing it looks like it.might have a little burn comin on but I'll get it straightened out tmm hopefully.
Day late on the update, pics/vids were taken on time tho just been a crazy week of harvests and trimming and keeping up with these. I linked up with Rain Science Grow Bags on Instagram and got them to offer all my followers and friends a discount of 10% off entire order from their site with the code ' bangdang ' so if anyone is in the market for a pot upgrade use that code. I got them in the mail 3 days after I ordered. Reason I went with Rain Science is because they offer identical air flow for rapid growth as the radicle bags, just using a different material and a tighter knit so water doesnt flood out the sides during feeds and when you pick these up when the coco is dry, it wont fly all over the tent like with the radicles. They're the optimal bag for autoflowers especially. She is showing some purple now, I feed this one a slightly lower ppm than the others she doesnt need much. I've been about 200ppm lower than I usually do with the soil blend and still gettin burnt tips.
These are doing pretty damn good for the most part. I figured out with the green buzz the only thing in bloom that raises ppm is the base bloom and the more PK which is good to know. Also been using lower ppm for the autos and they seem healthier than usual. These pics and the video were taken on Day 36.
Sorry for the delay was in a wedding this weekend came home and been trimmin like a dog the past few days and didnt have time to do the update but I'll do another one before tuesday to get back on track. As of Friday sept 6 its day 46. In the video the plants from back left to right are ..
Gelato-> Cream Cookies -> Gelato
Middle row from left to right are Lemon A.K 1 -> 6 Shooter-> Lemon A.K
Front is Tester 5 -> Lemon A.K -> Tester 26
5 is prob gunna be done first
This week they are all just putting on some weight still a few weeks left to go. Pics were taken on Monday video on Tuesday. The aromas are pretty strong in the tent in general.
Shes closing in on the finish going to start the flush sometime this week I think just give it a long one. Took some pics with and without flash, using a 85mm and 40mm lense. The close ups are with the 85mm u can see the vibrance of the trichomes.
Pics and video were taken a few days ago been busy as shit lately so the update is a little late. I'm gunna put the video up first on all of them then go back and upload the pics so if come back if the pics arent up yet.
This ones still gettin the flush, 1 or 2 more to go before the chop
Everything is movin along some will be coming down this week a few need a little longer. I'll get some pics up a little later today.
This one is on the last couple flush sessions before the chop. Will come down this weekend probly.
Purple Lemonade , Gelato 1&2, LAK 2&3 are all just about done theyll be coming down over the weekend or early next week. T26, Pineapple Express, Mexican Airlines, LAK 1, 6 Shooter Blue Dreamatic and Cream Cookies are all on the flush but will need a few more before chop. This tent reeks up the whole block it's pretty intense skunk in the driveway right now. There will be one more update I'm guessing for most of these before the harvest update. This was the most successful autoflower crop I've had in a long time I think theres some really good quality buds on some of these. I'll put the video up now and as I go thru the pics theyll be uploaded so if your interested come back tmm for the pics.
Harvested this one 3 or 4 nights ago around day 75. Nice solid buds on the top, smells strong I'm getting more of a fruity berry smell than lemonade but I'm a bad smeller. The pictures were taken using various lighting and lenses with and without flash it took a while which is why the update is late. I think I took around 300 shots of it and picked these ones to upload. Been drying for a couple days now will prob be another week before I trim as the rh is floating around 61% in the dry tent. Not expecting much for yield it stayed pretty small. Could have harvested up to a week and a half earlier than I did, which means you dont need much in the way of nutrients to grow it out. I always try to start the flush early on the purple strains and I still ended up going longer than I wanted to.
It grew quick it's an early bloomer. The green buzz were great I kept the ppm lower than I typically do staying around 950 for the crop and 880 for this one. If you like the purple autos this is a good one to start with.
