Germination Day 0 - Just received seeds today and started germination with paper towel and ziplock. Will keep updates going and start with day 1 when first set of leaves appear.
Germination Day 1 - Pulled her out to check and she’s cracked and just starting to poke the taproot out, will most likely be ready for a jiffy pellet tomorrow.
Germination Day 2 - Taproot is out and placed her in the humidity dome and jiffy pellet, now just waiting for her to break soil. Not sure if I want to go to solo cups next or just place her straight into the final pot.
Day 1 - Little girl is sprouted and above soil so I’m calling today, day one. Doing a little test between the three new girls. Starting this one in a solo cup and the other two in a 3 and 5 gallon fabric pot.
Day 2 - Nothing major happening, she’s just starting out so just doing some updated pics.
Day 3 - No water for this girl today. The solo cup is still pretty damp so just took her out for updated pics and growth progress.
Day 4 - All looks good, slightly lime green/yellowish but not too concerned yet.
Day 6 - Looking good and starting to get a little more green instead of yellow in her. I’m thinking I didn’t have enough airflow so have the tent propped open slight to help get in more fresh air. I’ve got an 8” exhaust sucking warm air in and 6” bringing fresh air in. I think the 6 couldn’t keep up with the 8 so we’ll see how she progresses. Hopefully this fixes the issue that killed my Blue Dream’Matic.
Day 7 - The end of week 1 and this girls looking pretty good. After having some issues of everything starting to yellow a bit, leaving the door to the tent open a bit for some more airflow seems to of helped. Everything is starting to get that nice shade of green again. Debating if I want to grow this girl out in the solo cup or transplant her when the time comes.
Day 8 - Starting week 2 and she’s looking healthy. Gave her a bit of pH’d water, she was getting a bit dried out in the solo cup. Still debating on whether I want to grow her out in the cup or transplant her to a bigger pot at some point.
Day 10 - The girl is looking good so far in the solo cup. She a nice bright shade of green. Think I’m going to end up transplanting into a 3 gallon fabric pot, just waiting for the roots to start showing through the punctures holes in the bottom of the cup.
Day 11 - The girl’s looking pretty good, just watching and waiting until transplant time. Once I transplant, I’ll give her another week or so then plan on starting the foxfarm feeding schedule. Until then, just pH’d water with a small amount of Cal-Mag.
Day 12 - The girls looking good but still not ready for a transplant, might be another week or so for that. Gave her a very light feeding today as she was drying out. Started with just foxfarm’s Grow Big and Big Bloom and fed according to their schedule. Will keep any eye on her for any issues. Also started measuring their width to help keep track of daily and weekly growth and she’s at 4 1/2” wide and 2 3/4” tall.
Day 13 - This little girl is looking pretty good. She grew a bit taller but not like I’d like her to but definitely grew out a bit, she’s now sitting at 5 1/4” wide and 3” tall. Still shut one LED off to try and get her to stretch a bit more. No watering today, letting her dry out completely before the next watering.
Day 15 - Starting week 3 and she’s looking good. No real issues so far and will start the foxfarm feeding schedule tomorrow. Still gonna transplant just waiting for the right time. She’s now 3” tall and 6 1/8” wide.
Day 16 - Not much growth from the girl today, thinking I might transplant in the next day or so. Gave her a light feeding from foxfarm’s chart so after she starts drying up a bit, I’ll put her into a 3 gallon fabric pot. She’s sitting at 3” tall and 6 1/8” wide.
Day 17 - The girls are drinking a ton of water right now. Gave them a nice light feeding yesterday and normally when I water with a small amount, they’re still damp the next day but she’s pretty dry a couple inches down. Still gonna hold of on another watering until tomorrow at the earliest. All is looking good and will most likely transplant her tomorrow. She’s at 3 1/2” tall and 6 3/8 wide.
Day 18 - This girl is looking good and went ahead and transplanted her into a 3 gallon fabric pot. Gave her a good watering of pH’d water and cal-mag. Think she’s ready for some LST but going to give her a little bit to recover from the transplant. If she’s doing ok after a few days, I’ll start her training. She’s sitting at 3 3/4” tall and 6 7/8” wide.
Day 19 - Looks like she’s recovering and doing just fine from the transplant. Watered her pretty good yesterday so it looks likes she’s a tad droopy but overall not bad. I might of mad a mistake but I went ahead and topped her. Wanted to try and tie her down but decided against it and just topped so we’ll see what happens. Hopefully I didn’t screw it up too bad.
Day 20 - She seems to be doing good after topping her so went ahead and started some LST. All three of my girls really seem like they’re starting to take off now so looking forward to the next several weeks. Soil was pretty dry so went ahead and gave her the first real feeding of nutes so will keep an eye on her to make sure it wasn’t too much. I noticed the first couple of pistils showed today as well. Will give her a few days before giving her plain pH’d water with cal-mag.
Day 21 - Ending week 3 and so far so good. Took some pictures but then decided to tie her down in another direction but didn’t get any pictures of that update. She’s somewhat short and bush so really want to get some lower growth going to get some other bud sites. It’s been pretty hot and humid here the past couple of days so after watering I noticed there were a few fungus gnats hanging around but they’re only playing with this girl and not messing with the other two I’ve got going. So far it’s only been a couple and I think I’ve got most of them squished, we’ll see tomorrow. Definitely more pistils showing so thinking she’ll be in full flower in another week or so and hopefully I’ve got some more colas going.
Day 23 - Starting off week 4 and she’s looking pretty good. I’m not sure if I’ll really be able to train this one, she’s just not y’all enough but still early so we’ll see as she grows. May just end up letting her do a natural grow. Gave her a nice drink of pH’d water and cal-mag today and out of the three girls I’ve got going right now, she’s the first that is starting to put off a little bit of a smell.
Day 24 - All looking good with this girl. Was finally able to get her tied down and hopefully get some lights to the lower branches. I thought I was gonna let her go naturally but decided against it. For being so young still and not really flowering yet, she’s definitely starting to put out a wonderful smell. Going to let her dry out a bit more before giving her the first feeding of week 4.
Day 25 - She’s looking pretty good today but removed about 2 or 3 fan leaves and tucked a couple other ones that were blocking the lower branches light. I tied her down again too so hope the other branches will start stretching a bit. I gave her a full week 4 feeding today, her soil was pretty dry. Will definitely keep any eye on her for any burning but didn’t really notice any from the last couple feeding.
Day 26 - For the most part she’s looking and starting to smell good but after some reading, I THINK she might be low on nitrogen so gonna boost that a bit, unless someone thinks something else. New growth is looking pretty good but some of the lower growth is a slightly lighter shade of green. I’m hoping that’s it and not something major. Every time she reaches for the light and grows another inch or two, I’m bending her down to keep light shining on lower branches. Gonna let her dry out quite a bit too, just in case I overwatered but I don’t THINK that’s the case.
Day 27 - She’s looking fairly decent and still growing and not really starting to flower just yet. She definitely got more and more pistils popping but nothing much more than that. Looks like the slight yellowing of the lower leaves is getting a bit better but gonna continue to monitor her. No water or feed today, still letting her dry up.
Day 28 - The end of week 4 today and she’s doing and looking good, just not very big and I’m fine with that so long as I get quality bud. Didn’t really do much to her besides giving her a full drink of pH’d water until I got some runoff.
Day 29 - Starting week 5 and not looking too bad. Still a bit short and small but overall looks healthy. Thinking maybe I have been under watering a bit because after giving her a water to runoff yesterday, all her leaves were standing tall and stretching for the light. A few more pistils popping but not in full flower yet. So will continue giving her veg nutes once a week for now.
Day 30 - Not much to report today, just removed her from the tent for a few updated pictures. A few more pistils showing so hopefully she’ll be in full flower by week 6.
Day 31 - Gave her a full drink of pH’d water with cal-mag today. She’s definitely starting to put out a nice smell but not to strong now. Hoping she’ll be coming into full flower in the next week.
Day 32 - She has a few side branches that weren’t getting much light so decided to tie them down and now she’s opened up a little more. Still popping pistils but really into full flower yet. Hopefully next week!
Day 33 - All is looking good! Had to tie down a couple more branches that were blocking the light and she’s turning out to be a pretty good looking girl. Not quite in full bloom yet, still looks like pre-flower but she should be taking off soon.
Day 34 - Nothing needed to be done today and no issues. She’s definitely going to need some water tomorrow.
Day 35 - The end of week 5 and gave her some fresh pH’d water today and I think I can definitely say, week 6 will be the start of flower. Could probably call this week the start but I’ll start week 6 as flower. She’s not shaped exactly the way I’d like but I think she looks ok.
Day 36 - Starting week 6 and she’s definitely in full flower now. Didn’t do much with her today but tuck a few leaves and snap some updated pictures. Will give her the first bloom feed sometime this week, whenever she dries out.
Day 38 - She’s looking great! Tied a few more branches down to open her up before she really starts stretching. I’ll be giving her the first feed of the week in a day or two when she’s completely dried up.
Day 39 - She’s really starting to look good and she’s gonna be a pretty grow. Gave her a full watering of pH’d water and cal-mag until runoff today. Just like the others, runoff was a little high, 7.1, so will lower the pH during the next feed to around 6.2-6.3. All the new branches that were tied down yesterday are now turned back up and reaching for the light.
Day 40 - Looking more and more like this girls gonna turn into a beast. She’s got bud sites all over and looking forward to what she does. Just tucked a few leaves today and gave her a once over.
Day 41 - She’s really looking good overall. I did notice some of the upper leaves were starting to claw just a little bit so to start, I went ahead and raised the light just a tad, in case it’s closer than she likes. If she doesn’t get any better then I’ll start looking at some other options on what’s wrong with her. Gonna give her her first bloom feeding tomorrow since she’s getting pretty dry.
Day 42 - It’s the end of week 6 today and couldn’t be happier with her so far. She’s budding up really nicely and starting to get nice and frosty. Held off on feeding today and will give her one tomorrow at the start of week 7.
Day 44 - Into week 7 now and overall she’s doing great. Gave her a feeding of the foxfarm trio, pH’d at 6.5 and PPM of 1220. Chart says 1900-2200 but a few yellow leaf tips so keeping it a bit lower than recommended.
Day 45 - Everything is going really good right now. She’s starting to fill in more and more each day. Just took her out today for some pics and tuck a couple leaves again.
Day 46 - Not a whole lot to update today, she’s got kind of a creamy/sweet smell to her right now. Going to give her some pH’d water tomorrow and will do another test of the runoff. Hopefully the pH has came down a little from the last test.
Day 47 - She’s looking good and smelling sweet. Gave her a full watering to runoff today and tested it at 6.8. Still a tad higher than I’d like but still in my safe zone. Bud sites are looking good, just more curious as to if she’s really gonna stretch anymore. As of right now, she’s on 9” tall so I’m really hoping for some stretching. Got a few light green leaves but they’re at the bottom and blocked by the light so chalking it up to the light.
Day 48 - She’s looking really good and starting to plump up nicely. It’s looking like these are going to be some nice dense buds when finished. Will give her a feeding of nutes in the next 2-3 days after she dries up a bit!
Day 50 - Starting week 8 and damn she’s getting some nice fat and tight buds. Not really y’all but she’s definitely going to be nice and dense. Will be giving her a feeding of nutes tomorrow.
Day 51 - Looking good and fattening up nicely! Looking forward to this girl finishing but still a few weeks away. Gave her a full feeding of the foxfarm trio today.
Day 52 - She’s fattening up nicely and think I should get a pretty decent yield out of her when she’s done. I wish my camera would show the colors like I can see in person but all kinds or oranges, yellows, greens in there. She’s a beautiful plant. Did a little leaf tucking and don’t really want to do any defoliation until I know she’s coming to an end.
Day 53 - Looking nice and fat! Absolutely love what she looks like and how fat she’s getting. Only took her out to see if she needed some water, tuck a few leaves and to get some daily pics. Still a couple weeks left from what I can tell but looking forward to the harvest.
Day 54 - Gave her some fresh pH’d water and cal-mag tonight, the pot felt like nothing but air. She’s really starting to drink heavily and is going through about 1/2-3/4’s a gallon of water every two days. She’s not really stretching but her buds are getting nice and plump. Will most likely give her a feeding of nutes on Saturday.
Day 55 - No real updates today, she’s chugging along and really getting plump. I do see a little bit of foxtailing in my LSD-25 grow but nothing like that with this girl. Nice round, fat and starting to stretch a little bit buds. All in all this is gonna be a great grow and harvest.
Day 56 - It’s the end of week 8 and this baby is looking great. Didn’t really do anything to her today but removed a couple of fan leaves in the middle that were in the way of the light. Will give her a feeding of nutes tomorrow.
Day 57 - Starting week 9 and she’s looking great. Not a very tall plant but very compact and tight buds forming. Gave her a feeding of foxfarm’s trio today.
Day 58 - Nothing to really update on this beauty today. She’s doing well and showing no real ill effects to the feeding yesterday. Letting her dry out a bit before watering her again. Normal watering is about every 2-3 days so possibly tomorrow or Monday.
Day 59 - Nothing new today, just checked to see if she needed some water and wanted some updated pictures. Looks like another day or two before watering.
Day 60 - Day 60 and she’s smelling amazing. Seeing some of the pistils starting to shrivel up but still think she’s got a couple weeks left. Gave her a full gall on water today, she was pretty dry. Will probably give her one more feeding of nutes this weekend and will start flushing with foxfarm’s sledgehammer.
Day 61 - Since she doesn’t have too much time left before chopping, I did a fairly heavy defoliation to try and get her to pack some more weight on. Still thinking she’s got 2-3 weeks left, I’d like to let her go until she’s maybe 60% amber. I really enjoy the couch lock in the evenings and helps with my back.
Day 62 - Looks great and still fattening up. Looking at her now, I’m not sure how long she’s got. Still thinking about 2 weeks but looking at the trichs she’s got some time, mostly clear with some cloudy. Will be giving her some water tomorrow.
Day 63 - Today is the end of week 9 and looks good. Still slightly wet soil so gonna hold of until tomorrow or Saturday and give her the last feeding of nutes before harvesting. She will get nothing but water and then foxfarm’s sledgehammer until she’s done.
Day 64 - Starting week 10 and gave this girl her last feeding of nutes before harvest. The next 2 weeks will just be water and foxfarm’s sledgehammer.
Day 65 - Time is winding down for this girl but still thinking 2ish weeks. She’s still got quite a bit of clear trichs so just gonna keep a close eye on her.
Day 66 - Nothing new today, just watching the trichs and waiting for them to tell me it’s time to chop.
Day 67 - Looks great and almost finished. Only saw a handful of clear trichs and the rest were cloudy but still waiting for a good chunk to amber up so when I see that, she’ll get the chop.
Day 68 - She’s getting closer to chop day for sure. Seeing a bit more amber in there and waiting till she’s about 40%. Gave her some water today and next watering, I’ll add some sledgehammer to the water to start pushing the nutes out.
Day 69 - A lot more amber trichs showing today but still not quite where I’d like it. I did lower the light to about 12” yesterday and today it blew up with frost. It was already frosty but today she looked like frosting and the pics don’t do her justice. Might be getting the chop this weekend.
Day 70 - It’s the end of week 10 and she’s getting closer to chopping. More and more amber popping up but still not to my liking. Maybe chopping late this weekend or early next week.
Day 71 - Starting week 11 and not sure if she’ll make it to week 12. Still doesn’t have the percent of amber that I’m looking for so she’s still going. Gonna flush her tough tomorrow with some sledgehammer and pH’d water.
Day 72 - Still not ready for chop but she’s plumping up quite a bit. Gave her 1.5 gallons of water with foxfarm’s sledgehammer and hopefully can get all the nute pushed out so she can finish strong.
Day 73 - Getting closer but she’s still not there yet so hopefully this next week she’ll start bulking up more and trichs amber before chopping. She’ll keep going until the trichs are how I want them.
Day 74 - She’s still chugging along and not quite ready yet. Each day she fills up with more trichs and not at the milky too amber ratio I’m looking for. Hopefully by the end of the week.
Day 75 - Thinking she’ll be ready for chop this weekend. Nothing else really going on, just waiting to chop. Not sure if I should continue giving her water or just let her dry up until she’s done.
Day 76 - Still just waiting on this girl to finish. Whenever I think she’s close, she throws a million more clear trichs at me so really no clue now when she’ll be finished. Might do one more push of foxfarm sledgehammer tomorrow and then just let her be till she’s done. Try and get as much nutes out of her and I can.
Day 77 - End of week 11 and flushed her with a gallon of water and 15ML of Foxfarm Sledgehammer, PPM is down to about 223 so hopefully she’ll go into her final push and be ready for chop sometime this weekend. Still not a whole lot of amber trichs so until she’s got the ratio I want, she’ll keep going.
Day 78 - The start of week 12 and from looking at her and the trichs, she probably won’t be getting chopped this weekend. Gave her a good flush with the sledgehammer yesterday so hopefully the depletion of nutes will push her to the end sooner rather than later.
Day 79 - Still just waiting but her leaves are starting to yellow a bit so she seems to be sucking whatever she can out of them to finish up. Can’t wait for her to be done to get a taste.
Day 80 - Leaves are starting to fade pretty good now and almost certain I’ll be chopping her this week or this coming weekend at the latest. Trying to push some more amber trichs into her.
Day 81 - No real updates, she’ll be getting the chop no later than this weekend. Most likely on Saturday.
This girl was an absolute dream to grow. Had hardly any issues and the few that I did have, she recovered from them very quickly. Every last bud of this girl is solid and rock hard. She was only 10 inches to the tallest cola but super impressed with the bud structure and solidness. Can not wait for her to dry so I can can get a taste and at that time I will update the smoke report and final weight. Will most definitely be getting more of these seeds to grow again. The smell is a sweet skunky smell and the wife was blown away by the smell from the bottom of the stairs while I was chopping and trimming. She’s all trimmed up and in my custom made dry box now and when I get to taste, the rest of this will be updated.
