Transplant slowed growth but she seems to be taking it well so far.
Aug 18 - 15 - 10AM - 6.34 PH 713 PPM - no runoff, i feel like i should be soaking the entire media at this point for runoff but not sure if it'll affect root zone growth. Also don't want huge salt buildup early on due to tap water hardness. I didn't want to overfeed/water and stress her more after transplant.
Aug 19 - 16 - 10AM - skip
Aug 20 - 17 - 6.37 PH 780 PPM - no runoff - not a happy camper today
Aug 21 - 18 - skip - Much happier today. Gonna start topping in a day or 2 since 5th node is starting to push out more. Node spacing is looking nice and tight and i might have to maybe do a little LST in a week or so.
Aug 22 - 19 - skip - topped 5th node, feed tomorrow
Ayg 23 - 20 - 6.31 PH 903 PPM 1 gallon feed - medium was bone dry. Stems look a bit redder today
Aug 24 - 21 - skip, looking good - a couple spots i'm seeing on the leafs will see and look into it more tomorrow. See you next week

Damn fine grow so far!! I grew out a moby a few months back and holy crap did she make tons of leaves. I defoil 15 leaves and she grew back 45 in defiance 😆. Glad to see another HLG grow get some love. I just put to qb288 rspec in my 4x2 and cant wait to finish. Great job and cant wait to read your harvest entry.
Great plant! Moby dick is a great strain too... maybe the best out there for effect. IMO.
You've left them to dry with leafs? tell me how that proceed...
@Psilocubensis, yes i left some leafs on because i was worried i could not keep humidity up during hang drying and they would dry out too fast so i left like 40% to help with that and make trimming a little easier when dry since wet trim is a pain for me. It all worked out in the end and she dried pretty slowly i could of went another 1-2 days hanging which i honestly should of did
Awesome grow, very informative!!!
1) Did you manage to eventually weigh your harvest?
2) I've seen people let their plants dry out (yellowish leaves) in the soil after the flowering stage is finished. Just before cutting it to dry.
Is this something you recommend, why (not) ?
