This was a free seed that was included in with a 3 pack of Pineapple express auto. Have looked it up in a few diaries and I'm really looking forward to watching this grow.
Soaked in a glass for 24hrs and planted straight into a poly cup full of damp coco and covered with cling film until it hatched. Was through in 6 days and seems happy enough.
Slowly sprouting upwards, looks like it has a good chance of making it! Will pot out into its final pot later this week. Will also add in a wee dose of nutrients into the watering.
Temperature is not ideal and will move the grow to an outbuilding to try and help a bit. Will also look into the extraction system too.

Well had to move the tent this week as it was just too hot with it up at 35c with the hid light on at 250w, no way would the plants be happy with it turned up to 450 then 600w!
Also noticed when putting it all back together that I have been running my lights on 24/7 as i hadn't switched the timer on duh!
I know that some grow autos on full blast but I definitely think this wee one looks the better for a couple of nights sleep.
Started with a micro dose of nutrients with no obvious ill effects and I expect growth will be slow until the roots fill out the big pots.

Roots must be set as she's really starting to take off. Was thinking that it was looking a bit pale compared to other diaries running but realise now that any pics under the grow light look a bit naff!
Have started off with some gentle LST. Did read to be really careful when bending as they snap easy but I don't know if it's the genetics or the silicon but this is really bendable and goes where you want it to and stays there. Soon as you look back in again its growing upwards!
Looks like it will be flowering very soon!
This is my first cannabis grow but not the first time I have grown plants and I'm amazed how big this is getting in the timeframe!

Kush is growing like an oak tree! Have upped the nutrients a bit with no sign of harm so far and giving it 10mins TLC with a bit of LST every night and its responding really well. Hopefully end up with multiple colas and a good harvest but I'm not going to count my chicken's just yet! Long way to go but feeling really positive about it!

This plant is an absolute dream to grow! Everytime you pop your head in the tent its shot up a bit! Has taken the temperature increase in its stride and now it's that bit cooler shes happy as Larry!
Continuing with the LST and keeping the top down has really made it bush out. The side stems are catching up with the main one.
Keep trawling the other diaries on here looking for ways I can better her as the grow goes on and decided to try adding big bud onto the mix.
With it being my first grow I've nothing to compare the nutrients too and just took a punt on each by how they done in various dairies.
What i have learned though is to read up a bit better before you buy!
I bought normal Samurai nutrients instead of the coco ones and then made the same mistake with the big bud! So kicking myself a bit because its left me wondering if it might be even better with the properly designed stuff?
Not going to let it get me down though😂

Really happy with this weeks results, have done a wee bit of leaf removal! Didn't intend to with reading up about the short auto life and not stressing them. Dont think this Kush does stress! Just took a few off the first night and no signs of stress so pluck a couple more each night if they are shading a bud.
Its drinking it's way through 4litres and I have the pots elevated to make sure that they dont suck back up the run off. Every night the pot is feather light and its thirsty. Not sure if it would be a good idea to water twice a day but scared of overwatering too!
Getting the hang of the photographs too and I'll have a fiddle about with the camera on my tablet to see if I can get some better quality close ups soon.
Any advice or tips more than welcome cheers
Had a play about with the camera setting on my phone and managed a few photos a bit closer up! Have reduced the nutrients a wee bit this week as there were a few yellow tips on some of the leaves. Hopefully no harm done.
Smell is really developing with a lovely warm sweet smell when you open the tent. Buds seem to be coming on fine and look great under the eyeglass.
Still nipping the odd leaf off now and again if its blocking a bud!
Absolutely delighted to have got to this stage and will have to start reading up on when to harvest and flush etc.

Hey you want to give it a 48 hour dark period when it is time and ready to harvest. The only reliable way to know when to harvest is to monitor your trichomes with a 30x or better 60x magnifying glass. You want to harvest with the highest percentage of cloudy milky trichomes as possible. Clear trichs=not ready. cloudy=reaching maximum thc level. amber= too late your thc is converting to cbd and other less desirable compounds. I start flushing when I get about 10% amber and they are usually good for me in about a week. You will get different effects depending on when you harvest. A early harvest with several clear trichs will give you more of an energetic high where a late harvest with a lot of amber will give you more of a sedative couchlock effect. It is really something you have to experiment with to see what you like. When about 50% of your hairs are brown it is a good time to start monitoring the trichomes.
Growing along happily this week and noticed the frosting really starting to show. Drinking a wee bit less which could be a combination of the temperature dropping a bit and groth slowing?
Buds are filling out and linking up on the main cola and some of the side ones which I'm glad as I was scared I'd be left with tiny fluffy things.
Lovely skunky strong stench developing.

Nicely frosting up this week, have removed more fan leafs to let the light shine through. Cut back on the nutrients and stopped some altogether in readiness for plain water.
Developing a lovely Amsterdam coffee shop skunky smell and fingers crossed its plain sailing from here on in. Really happy with how this plant has battled on after such a hard start in life.👍 well done Barneys!
Onto the plain water this week as the trichs are starting to go milky. Have continued to trim the odd leaf nightly when watering.
Lovely strong zingy lemony smell and super sticky buds.
Still not sure exactly when to harvest but I'm thinking when 10% of the trichs are amber?
Not sure if this will be the last week or not but my mouth is starting to water at the thought of harvesting!

Nice smooth skunky flavour, my first grow so looking at the buds I need to improve on my trimming and get more leaf removed when wet!
Also buds are quite fluffy but definitely something I need to improve on rather than the strain.
Started off with not being able to sleep one night and ended up sending off for some seeds from Barneys. I chose Barneys because I remember having my first volcano vape in the coffee shop in Amsterdam!
After they arrived I started googling how to grow and bought the basic bits and bob's to get going.
Very much learning on the go I'm delighted I've managed to grow enough to keep me going for ages.....save me a fortune..........save the hassle of hunting for it............and save me parting hard earned cash for mass produced shite!
I need to definitely work on fattening up the buds and a better job of trimming.
It was pineapple express auto that I bought from Barneys farm and the kush was a free seed that they gave with a pack of 3!
So well over 5oz of smokable green from a free seed that had a hard upbringing is amazing!

Had its last plain watering last night and as soon as she's gone dry the snippers are coming out! Really looking like she's drained most of the goodness out of the leaves.
Cant wait to see the root set up on this one as the stalk is like a tree and she drank like a sailor.
