I wasn't planning on transplanting the Girl Scout Crack, but as there was two or three roots poking through the bottom of her 2gal Smart Pot I decided I'd give her room to spread her feet. She was transplanted into a 4gal Smart Pot then given a weaker feed than usual to avoid shock. She's coped very well, continuing to grow strong and healthy.
After a little bit of low stress training, she's created a nice even canopy of 4 tops.
After growing in Smart Pots a few times now, I think I'm going to use them only for their finishing pots because in my opinion, transplanting from a Smart Pot damages way too many roots for my liking. Because the roots poke through the bottom, taking the pot off without ripping them is unavoidable, for this reason I'll be using a plastic pot before a 4-5gal Smart Pot to finish in flower.
The last three images were taken from my new phone and looks a bit lighter and not quite the same colour as real life, unlike my old phone. So I guess we'll have to get used to the new shade of green! It has many adjustments and settings so it may just be a case of tweaking to perfection.
Thanks for following πΊ
@biggreens420, I've never actually had Green Crack, only heard great things but I'll be able to compare this cross to the Royal Cookies to really see the difference/influence πΊ
@biggreens420, no, not bubble hash π long story short I own a construction company and have needed to buy stainless steel mesh in the past. So as I get trade price I thought I'd make my own trim bins instead of paying a fortune for them! ππΊ
I'm already scratching my neck waiting for this girl to finish up and be harvested. She's looking beautifully with her expansive flowering nodes. She's going to fatten up real nice in the coming days. I'm excited for you. Congrats so far bro!
@TheFoxFarmer,sounds like a plan will be a while before I get any more diaries going gotta get through these ones first but u never know things could change
@biggreens420, nice one bro, I'll keep an eye out for your diary! She's been very easy in all fairness, not had a single deficiency throughout and she coped with transplanting very well. I've recently popped another as I'm able to run perpetual now. I'll create a bigger canopy on the next one before going into flower. I might do another diary on her, we'll see lol πΊ
Thanks @BlazedSaiyan βοΈ she definitely looked like it but she had a very unique flavour π this pheno was a beautiful smoke, but unfortunately I didn't take any cuts π
Looking awesome. It's already snowed there :) I like this kind of leaves.
The idea behind crossing green crack and gsc caught me.We found that mixing gsc with a sativa in the same joint makes it beautiful. The high of this cross must be amazing.
