Just making my setup ready, 2 seeds are soaking in between the coffeefilter .
2 air pots of 18 liters with :
1/2 BatMix plagron (Bat Guano) + 2gr Mycotrex (in the bottom half)
1/2 ProMix Plagron (no fertilizer) + 2gr Mycotrex (in the top half of the pot)
and each pot 3 tabs of B.A.C. to balance the ph
in the planting hole 1 gr of Mycotrex and watering with 1gr /liter Bactrex
Growlight seedling : Ultimate Platinum P300 (in Veg) @ 90 cm
This is one week after sprouting.
Every 3-4 days each plant 1/4L + B.A.C.
Pink: small deformation of the leaves , but leaves are pointing up, so grow has started
Green: a little behind , but patience is a virtue .
Feeding :
- a last time root + grow : 5L
- 3 days later : 5L + final solution
growing bigger and bigger .
This week I'm planning to tie her up a little, so I will have a good air flow between the flowers .
But in general I'm very happy :-)
It isn’t Cal def. the leave is symmetrical. You’re actually in week 3 of Flowering (not week 2). You can put 2-3ml/l of Organic Bloom and 1,5-2,5ml/l of PK Booster, it will stop the problem.
Some slight deficit or stress spots:
1) I had some bleaching of the upper leaves, so to prevent light stress as a cause of the spots, I have raised the lights to 50 cm (+5cm) , and set the switch to Bloom (only) , so hight reds!
2) I have slightly changed the amount of nutrients to have a correct PH : 6.4 (not corrected, only measured)
3) I have ordered some Cal/Mag to add the next watering in 2-3 days.
If I count from the actual date of spouting, I count now 67 days . (from the day of the first true leaves = -5d )
And at the state of the flowers, I think still +- 14 days.
I did a first flush with 5 liters + final solution , and I will look at the development.
Lights: p300 only bloom (red) + cob's full power
temperature manual drop for night time from +-26 -> +-18 C
But oh , what a smell :-)
The sugar leaves where turning brown, so desided to cut her down afther 18 hours of darkness.
Real review is coming in 2 weeks ....
10 days to dry , and now on the scale +-150gr .... LOL :-) more then expected ..... and I had a little taste ..... : it is functional :-) and tasty .....
for me this is a succes ?
Now in a pot and curing for 6 months ..... patience is a virtue
@ Stick: I don't measure or correct the PH, because I have a bio setup. (Ph is auto corrected by BAC tabs )
@Mrs_Larimar : thanks for the advice of the light burn , can you explain this, what do you see that indicates this ?
@ B4RNS : just this morning feeded her with 2ml bloom and 2ml of PK (and I have ordered a Cal/Mag bottle online to feed in 4 days if this didn't help) : thank you for the advice
to all: thanks for the advice , I'll keep you posted on the results
@DankGardener : thank you , I will put the lights slightly higher .
Yo people
I desperately need help
Trying to understand how to grow this strain I love amnesia haze 👌🌱my first attempt is not working properly still curing
Hello @DoctorF! Yes it looks like a Calcium deficiency, and Manganese if probably involved too. Do you always buffer your pH? In case you don't, I highly recommend to buy a pH-pen at your local growshop, pH is one of the keys to a successful yield, and a medium with a wrong pH will show random deficiencies or even worst, nutrients lockout. So grab a pH-pen, and eventually an EC-meter to better understand how strong your meals are. Double check the pH-pen calibration (with dedicated buffering solutions) and make sure every watering/feeding is in the correct pH range for soil, which is 6.2~6.5. Nothing above, nothing below! Now for your next feedings, adding some Cal/Mag or epsom salt will help, but you will still need to adjust the pH of your solution. Hope this will help, happy growing!
