Is Grow 1 ready??? I have put a pic for day 159 for all of them in my grow tent atm. Any help or advice as this is my first grow and i got no benchmark!!!! pics are as good as i could get 😕 gulp...... 15th September 2019 Had so much fun transplanting, was kinda sad when it was over. Looking really strong and sturdy in the new pots. As i am leaving them outside (for a week) they are taking full advantage of the breeze, strengthening the stem. I will be topping them all this week at some point, i need to give them a few days to recover before topping. 500ml water added with 1.5ml/L each. Did not want to add too much as the new soil should contain enough nutrients for a few weeks, at least a month. But i added a little for the soil which has been transplanted and contains the root ball. Love how they sway in the breeeeeezzeeeeee......... 16th September 2019 I will not be adding water today, Gave them a lot yesterday, so will let them dry out a little before adding water. Also they were outside morning and afternoon and little drizzle would have rehydrated the soil. Getting good growth. I will top the 5th node as it comes through. Leaving 4 nodes intact before the V-Shaped top is formed. Lets see how it goes 😊 Only time will tell. 17th September 2019 Topped them today! i topped them all, even though they are at slightly different stages. But i want to see which plant responds the best so I can top at the most appropriate time next grow. Also have to make sure to LST them when they start to show new shoots and split at the top. My aim is to make the plant grow outworks to make use of the available space in my grow room. Also it is easier to defoliate and check for pests/mould. Right now, i didn't prune much because i was not sure when the best time to cut is. Now i have got one grow (nearly under my belt) i think i can change a few things each time to see what the effects are on the plant. 18th September 2019 Got them outside this morning. Have fed them their feed for today, 150ml with Calmag and Terra Grow from Shogun. Nodes are spaced out at least 4 -5cm. Got 4 nodes grown and topped the 5th node. Need to offer some rest time as they will be experiencing stress from yesterdays topping. Added a picture of my current GG growing in the grow tent. Leaves are going purpler so i thought i would show what they look like in case anyone can tell me if this is a deficiency/abundance of any particular nutrient. Any info is welcome 😺 19th September 2019 No news today, looks like they are still recovering from the stress of topping. Nodes are healthy and holding the weight of the leaves in the daytime breeze. Leaves are curling upwards towards the light whenever i get a chance to check on them. Nutes are still the same for this week, 1ml/L Calmag, 2ml/L Shogun Terra Grow. 150ml RO water. Fed them around 10am, not going to feed them tomorrow, will give them a break. I will get some more detailed picks of the new shoots growing as a result of the topping, but they are too small for now and my camera is s**t 👽 20th September 2019 Not much change again today, this is my 2nd grow, so i haven't practiced the art and effects of topping properly. I will add pictures showing where the new shoots are planning on growing out from (if i can find it myself). No water today, break from water and nutes. Will water tomorrow. Left them all outdoors again for the day. Breeze really giving them good sturdy stems, might help hold up juicy nugs when it begins late flowering stage. No signs of stress so will keep an eye on my babies 😉 21st September 2019 The Topped area is starting to show a few signs of sprouting. Not much but i am aware that topping stress slows down plant growth. Not sure that i did a good job but time will tell. Around nodes 2, 3 and 4 there are some strong signs of shoots growing out. No noticeable signs of note deficiency/abundance. As i am leaving them outside during the day, a light drizzle may fall and keeps the soil moist. Keeping an eye on soil moisture and will water accordingly. On to week 5......

When I first saw the hieroglyph labelled "Alien OG", I thought it was your antenna for communications with the mother ship. Then, I thought it was some kind of exotic insect that was eating your plants. But, after just a few more bong hits, I realized that you are performing the ancient British ritual of "fluxing". https://www.growweedeasy.com/fluxing I think you should append your growth parameters to including "Topping" and "Low Stress Training" and "Flux" should be made available and included. Fluxing is an important alternate form and many of us would likely enjoy comparing and contrasting with mainlining and scrog grows. I guess this begs the question: “I am the Keymaster ... Are you the Gatekeeper?” I mean: are you the 'Light Addict'?

@Tuffgong, Bro! You are definitely the key master, door keeper, and castle owner! My first grow was a joke, i kinda let it do its thing and i paid for my errors. Shoots were falling into each other, leaning on each other, touching the sides of my tent. This was just a happy mistake that i have fluxed this grow. I had a read of what you sent and did some more research of my own.... fluxing is actually quite fun so i may just do this from now. I don't think i know what i am doing exactly, i may claim i am LST'ing but this is limited to what i know. Thanks for this! Will add this knowledge to my future grows. Indebted to you bro..... 👽

@Ferenc, Yeah this makes sense, OK, well the best way is to post the results on here so we can at least compare something. Thanks for that info bro... Love the experimenting side of things, as well as a good result 😎 I got some Gorilla Glue ready to harvest this week so i can let the Growmunity know how that one has turned out. Gosh darn exciting times.....

@GreenJoker55, depends on you lamp! I am beginner but I would say plants need min 6 weeks veg. If you start with big lamp from the beginning that's cool I always started with 60W the first 2 weeks which is good for 2 plants. I will start 600W from the beggining next time. Well, I can say larger and taller plant doesn't mean mean more buds. You can have small bushy plant with really dense buds all depends on the strain, circumstances, lamp, technic.... cheers mate!

Ferenccommented5 years ago
@GreenJoker55,depends on your lamp but yeah at least 8 weeks is optimal and better to start with strong lamp from the beginning. I always used just 60W LED at the beginning and then 600W Watt well if you use big lamp from the beggining you can have shorter veg time I think but minimum I would live is 6 weeks. I am beginning as well just getting experienced with things lamp plants cheers mate !!

@EZgrower, Nice one bro, trying to give the whole growmunity something which i didn't find easily on this site. When i started i was really confused and a lot of people where saying i needed to get a grow under my belt. That was difficult cos i duno if it would be right after spending a few £100 😑 was not looking forward to producing shit weed. But got my first grow down and i know what bad weed is like, this aint great, but not bad either. Had the heatwave to contend with so may have been a bit stressed out. Defo prefer a joint, but partial to all methods of ingestion. Got a volcano that i want start using 😎 what about you bro? I plan to collect leaves to make some edibles. Next step... Thanks for the support bro ✊

@Humboldt_Seed_Organisation, Got the scissors ready! Great strain and is producing the best crystal formation i have seen yet. Great darker hues coming from the sugar leaves closer to harvest time. Really accurate with the flowering time guys! I will give more info after they have been cut and dried! Been a pleasure taking care of this strain! Will definitely get it again in the future. Almost at the finish line.... 😼

Hello bro. Frankly, I don't care about its taste and smell. What are the effects of Alien OG? Yes, it has a high thc rate, but can you talk about any effects that will distinguish it from other strains? Are there things that make it extraordinary? Can you describe how it makes you feel? What about the colours, music, thoughts and pleasures?

Ganjagrandaddy
Ganjagrandaddycommentedweek 185 years ago
nice finish and techniques. I fin that if I allow the fluxes limbs to be at least 20°angle and not completely flat , that the auxins will keep pushing as merristems( mains) and are more vigerous with node growth. when flat , the plant thinks they are secondaries for longer before it will recover and respond with changing
Ganjagrandaddy
Ganjagrandaddycommentedweek 175 years ago
have look into quadlining. far quicker virtually no recovery time same principle , way more productive as easier to hit the sweet spot. looking good bud though

Looking cool I m on week 5 veg of same strain 😎 remember you saying it really didn’t like mainline so I just been defoliating atm, then when it goes to flower I m just going to let it do it’s thing.

That early training work is definitely paying of as you enter week 7 of bloom 🤗 Really well structured plants packing on some serious weight 🤘 Beautiful work 💚 Kind regards ✌️ Team-HSO..
