She’s pulling through the stress of dropping her. It’s the the most fragile and feeble plant I’ve grown so far. If it survives. I’ll keep babying her and see what happens.

Does anyone condone defoliation about 4-6 weeks into flower? I read conflicting info.

It actually depends on the plant structure and the type of strain. In your case, by looking the structure ( side views and canopy top view ) it’s better to leave it. It has built a nice canopy, not too dense, almost leveled and the legs has been cleaned correctly.

Hello my friend The senescence Late stage in the development of multicellular organisms, during which irreversible loss of function and degradation of biological components take place. Physiological aging process in which cells and tissues deteriorate and eventually die.😎 the senescence is the result of the translocation of the resources, once this phase ended, it is the abscission (fall of the sheet) For cannabis that 🤐means that the day of harvest is not far I invite you to look at my diary First gg and you will understand May the force be with you 💪

hey there, looks like magnesium deficiency to me, you can tell from the yellowing between the veins of the leafs, perhaps due to genetics that grow a bit too quick and cant absorb enough beofre they flower hard... so add more cal mag to the feed or more chelation agent or just ignore it : you're close to the finish line by now

@CRiSPrGrow, Hi Kong, just wanted to thank you for advice related to my possible need for Cal-Mag. It has been the greatest asset. It’s very easy to use. Almost can’t over cal-Mag and I find since it’s use the ferts. absorption is up. So less ferts are needed thus less chance of root burn. Thanks👍

Hi @@JP148! I usually try to avoid any defoliation or pruning after the 2nd week into the flowering stage. Why? Because I want my plants to focus their energy on building the bud sites, expanding the flowers, and creating loads of resin/trichomes later. A defoliation is a small injury, and an open gate to pest+disease, that's why I do not recommend to do it, unless it's really required (very high humidity / serious lack of light / non-existent airflow). Looking at your plant, it seems that all the main colas are exposed to the light, and not too close to each others, therefore I do not see the need to defoliate. Hope this will help, let me know in the comments section if you need any further information. Happy growing! 👊

@Buddha2, thanks. Plant was a pretty beast. Would have rated it a ten but it kept a bit of harshness, even after good cure. Gives a great combo high. Like the Bruce Banner Sativa at first, Indica finish. Weedseedsexpress has consistently provided some kick ass quality seed. Never had to drop more beans then I wanted plants 💪👍

Though topic. 10 growers will give you 10 different answers. Personally I tried and don't like it. Best advice is to try and make your opinion. I only defoliate to improve air circulation and reduce humidity.
