Hello dear growers!
This is gonna be my second run.I read and learned a lot on my first one.Both from web and growdiaries.It was quite successful for a first grow to be honest.
Now i upgraded few important things.I bought a new tent.(120x120x200/4'x4')I will be using Biobizz Light Mix this time. Last time i used an unknown brand of soil.
On my first run,i grew on a small closet and couldn't scrog due to space issues.I will be growing 5 autos under 400w this time.
Seeds are on germination process right now.I'm thinking they will be cracked tomorrow and i will put them where they belong.
For this diary,i will be recording an unreleased,brand new strain from Fastbuds.I got this seeds from Diary of the Month-May.
I haven't decided yet what nutrient to use to be honest.I have both Biobizz and General Organics.
She is under 72W Flourescant for first few weeks.I will switch to 400W HID later.
I haven't fed them yet.I will most likely wait for few more days then i will feed with Biobizz Root Juice.
Everything is going great so far.Growing with tent is much easier.
Day 13 - Just fed her with biobizz nutrients.She's biggest among all others.I will top her within this week.
Day 15 - She's leading the tent.Topped her at 4th node.
Day 16 - She didn't stunt.She took the topping easily.Lower nodes are growing.I fed her with phed tap water and Root Juice.
Day 17 - I pruned the first set of leaves.They will not be getting enough light to produce buds.I removed the leaves day by day.
Day 19 - Switched to 400W MH lamp.
Day 20 - This girl literally didn't care if i topped her or not.She never stopped growing and still keeps growing like mad.Started doing some LST today.
Day 23 - I fucked up with this one aswell.I topped her at week 2 and broke her topped stem at week 3.I wrapped the broken stem,it looked ok for few days but then it started to wither.I took a week from her life for no reason 😞.Anyway,lesson learned.Never to use stuff around again for LST.I properly use linen string from now on with holes drilled onto edges of pots.
Shoutout to @B4RNS for this great trellis idea.I only have 1 door in my tent so i can't set a scrog net in there.This idea solved my problem pretty good.I'm thinking about doing it
again for my photoperiods.
Day 24 - This night when i was working on girls,i had a smell coming to my noise.It was a smell that i know but i couldn't really recognize it. It was like a plastic melting but i couldn't find anything in tent.Then i realized the ballast i'm using is melting inside.So i borrowed a 600W light kit from a friend until i replace my own ballast.
Day 25 - I will be leaving town today.They will be alone for 3 days.It's quite hard to keep humidity at where i want with 600W HID.It barely reaches 45%.I will be back with my own 600w set in 3 days.Peace!
Day 28 - Ever since i got this tent,i was eager to upgrade my lights to 600W.So i did.I bought a cooltube with 600W hid light kit.Light penetration is much better now.I just got back home.I was out of city for 3 days.I gave plain water before i leave.I was expecting her to stretch a lot when i wasn't here but she's still preflowering.Expecting her to explode this week.
Day 29 -I fed here today with some light nutrients.Also did some med to heavy defoliation.She's the most stable one in tent so i know she can take it.
Day 34 - She's almost done stretching.She's well spread under trellis,lots of budsites exposed to light.
Day 35 - Either she's not gonna grow any bigger or didn't started to stretch yet.Bu she's really into flowering now.Many of the budsites are exposed to light.Growth under trellis is pruned.
She's really looking healthy so i will keep feeding her with nutes.I didn't feed her with biogrow but that was a mistake.I used to use GH nutrients and you stop feeding with grow nutes when the plant is flowering.Apparently it's different with Biobizz.You have to keep feeding with biogrow until flushing.
Day 40 - She's flowering hard.She became really bushy in last few days.Her stretch is mostly over.She's flowering everywhere.
Day41 - I fed her with full nutes.She had few calcium deficiancy signs on few of her leaves,gave her some calmag on her dinner.
Day 43 - She already formed some colas.Started smell a little citrus.Some calcium def but it's not gonna be a problem since she's flowering already.Stretch is over.She's a lot smaller than expected.
Day 49 - It's been a busy week for me and couldn't spare time for diaries.CBD Crack has already started smelling.She has nutty and creamy smell.She had some minor nute burn on her leaf tips.I gave her plain water on last feeding and will be continueing to feed until flushing.Her buds are really all over the plant.Since she didn't get that tall,buds will be covering all her stems within a week.Some pistil already turned brown.Nothing unusual here.She's strong 💪.
Day 53 - She has signs of slight nute burn on her leaf tips. Her smell is amazing.She smells like milky chocolate/nutty.She's bulking up her nugs.Trichome production is amazing.I did very light defoliation today to help lower buds to fatten.I might start flushing next week since she has 10 weeks seed to harvest timeline.I'll keep an eye on trichomes this week to see if she starts to mature.
Day 58 - This week is gonna be full of nice smells and swelling colas.😋She's doing perfect.I will be giving her phed plain water on next feed because last runoff was too high for some reason.
Day 65 - I'm preflushing this week.Fed her with overdrive this time and will feed on next one aswell.After that going for full 10days flush.Most of the trichomes are still clear.She's looking really beautiful.She still have time to fatten.Fingers crossed.🙏
Day 72 - Still lots of clear trichomes.I was expecting her to finish around this week because by the look of her.Not really swelled last week aswell.All the leaves are still green.Smell is amazing.Still smelling some Nutty aromas with flowers behind.
Last feed i gave her 150ppm plain water.Runoff ppm was 900.pH was a little higher than expected so i gave her a low pH water(5.8).
Day 78 - After last flush,she started to fade her bigger fan leaves.She's still ripening slowly.Buds are dense and sticky af.Trichomes are still clear/cloudy.I think she will go down this week unless she explodes with new growth.
Damm bro, with such small pots and topping autos im pretty supersized at your yield man! Well done 😎Just shows you autos can take some stress, guess it is strain dependent too. Looking forward to growing this strain myself. 💪
@SadBoyDabs710,I'm really surprised with the results my friend.I was also concerned about topping autos but as long as your plant is healthy,nothing can stop her.That's what i learned.I know the pots are small but i checked the roots and there is no rootbound.
@CBD_Sweden,This is gonna be my second grow and also first experience with autos.Hope it's gonna work out.I already read your diary.It's great to have someone who already grew your strain.I will keep an eye on your grow aswell.
If you want them like 20-30% amber you will have to wait like 2-3 weeks more. I harvested my plant after 9 weeks of flower and a total of 14 from sprout.
She is looking great and i hope you have the patience to wait for her to amber up.
You will get rewarded, its a lovely medicine and damn good smoke.
@Eurus, ok thanks for the response. I think mine are looking pretty good to have received no Nutes at all so far. My fox farm trio should arrive today and I will start them out at 1/4 strength.
@Nemobuds, Stunting the plant right before she starts flowering is not the risk i would take.I believe the reason behind topping at the 2nd week is even the plant slows the growth,she will have the time to recover.You can continue with LST and defoliation.This is an experiment for me aswell.I've 4 autos right now,2 topped and 2 growing naturally.For example,i topped 2 plants that were growing fast and healthy.CBD Crack still continues to grow without slowing but Candy Kush is a little stunt i think.
@Eurus, ok mine is about 19 days old now and has nodes coming out all over the place now. I figured it might be too late? and will it really benefit me to do this? or can I just seen low stress training my plant in such a way that the light still hits all leaves?
