********************************************** Grow environment: 🏛️ Homebox 120*90*180 (l*w*h) / 4*3 💡 2* Greenception gc-4 (120watt) 💡 2* Secret Jardin T-LED bloom (42watt) 💨 S&P Silent td-500 dimmed with a SCNR5-CA ⚱️1l pot / 20l Airpots *edit: I switch the lights at week 4. Lights are now 2* Mars hydro sp 250 (230 watt dimmable). I will maybe dimm both down to 200watt at bloom. At veg I run only 1 of them. Soil (80l): - soil mix (50% biobizz light mix, 30% biobizz coco & 20% perlite) - batguano 0,5 kg - wood ash 0,5 kg - coffee ground 0,2 kg - mycorrhizal fungi & beneficial bacteria - RQS easy boost 0.25 kg Nutrients: - green BUZZ Liquids ********************************************** All 5 seeds germinated within 24 hours. 👍 I let all seeds 24 hours in water before I gave them again 24 hours on a wet paper. She is actually growing in a 1 liter pot with pure coco. Unfortunately the light distance was to far and she stretched🍋 Happy growing 🖖

Pictures are taken on day 22 📸 --------------------------------------------------- I was away for a week and a buddy was "taking care of them". Yes like you can see they were over watered and have a nutrient lock out. I'm not sure if it's because of a wrong pH or because of the overwatering. I plan to repot them to solve the problem without watering them again. Fell free to give some advice✌️

Pictures are taken on day 28 📸 --------------------------------------------------- Day 23: I transplanted them into the final 20 liter airport with living organic ⚒️. The new soil had a good moisture, so I didn't watered them the hole week to fix the overwatering and the nutrients lock out. Day 24: I changed the lights💡. I switch to 2*mars hydro sp 250 (230 watt each & dimmable), acctualy I run only one. (I posted some picture of them, maybe I will put the driver outside of the tent to prevent heat issues). Day 27: I cutted the lower branches to make them ready for mailing✂️. The goal is 2 main branches with 6 tops on each branch. I also cutted the downer leafs because of their damages. --------------------------------------------------- After the struggle of the last week they are just back again with a really good growth rate💪the coming week I will start with mainling 🏗️ I didn't watered them the whole week because the new soil was weet enough + I changed the lights which heat up the tent and lead to great temps & humidity. 🤙 Here is a Par test of the Mars hydro sp 250. https://youtu.be/lcitvJHtnBU I think it is not the best led but a good one with a look at the price (if you don't have the time to build one like me or just don't have the knowledge and budget) and in my opinion the first Mars hydro which is really useful. The only thing that I don't like about it is the 3.8k💡 Happy growing everyone and thanks everyone for the feedback last week ✌️🍋

Pictures are taken on day 35 📸 --------------------------------------------------- Day 30: I used metal hooks for mainlining and watered them. --------------------------------------------------- They recovered really well and growed really good this week 👌. I think there are 3 pheno types, one is growing really tall, another one is growing really small like my last lemon shining silver haze and the other two have a middle size. In the coming week(days) I will top the main branches and start with mainling the side branches. 🏗️ Happy growing everyone 🍋✌️

Pictures are taken on day 42 📸 --------------------------------------------------- Day 37: topped the main branches and mainlined them. 🏗️ Day 40: I mainlined the side branches and fixed two broken main stems (one of the pheno with the large internodes and one of the small pheno, which I couldn't fix anymore.)🔧 I also topped the first side branches of the pheno with the large internode. ✂️ --------------------------------------------------- They're doing good, but I think I will change my grow style and quite mainling like this. Its the second time that some branches snatch some hours after training because the plant tries to go up. The coming week I will give them a few more training and start with vertical grow. Happy growing ✌️

I added nematodes to kill the fungus gnats, in my opinion its the best way to get rid of them 👍 They will get some more days or maybe the whole week for some more vegetative grow before I switch the lights to 12/12. (height is between 30 and 40 cm) Happy growing 🌱

Pictures are taken on day 63 📸 -------------------------------------------------- Day 62: - installed a net 🥅 - turned the 2nd light on, actually power is 460w (maybe I will dimm it to 400w) -------------------------------------------------- They have their final shape now. Day 63 is their last day with 17h of light. 💡 The humidity dropped below 40% after I turned the 2nd light on and they don't really like it. (input air is already real dry, I will wait a few days before I start to think about a small air humidifier) I'm not totally sure about the light power. I think 400w is enough but maybe 460w will improve it. 📈 Happy growing ✌️

Grow Questions
KrautFabrik
KrautFabrikstarted grow question 5 years ago
My tent size is 120x90 (3x4). I use 2x Mars hydro sp250, would you run each at full power (total 460w) or should I dimm them to a total power of 400w (or maybe something else)? *The question is what is the optimal power for the best results and not about a higher electric bill.*

Hello my friend 😉 In your place I will leave the 2 at full power because the led is not greedy in electricity your 2 lamps consume just 0lus a 250 watts hps. I use myself 2 leds 300w lamps that I leave in 20/4 because I only grow autoflowering. And my bill has not increased very much. I advise you to put them at the height recommended by the manufacturer following the growth phases of your plant (me 90 centimeters growing and 60 in bloom) That's what I do and I'm very happy with the performance. I invite you to see my different test to get an idea.😊 growdiaries.com/diaries/37722-differents-tests May the strength be with you 💪

I made a smooth defoliation and adjusted the hight of each pot. 📐 -------------------------------------------------- Not much to say, they have a really different stretch so I adjusted the hight of the pots. I also have dimmed each light down to 200watt. Happy growing ✌️

Pictures are taken on day 84 / Fd 21 📸 -------------------------------------------------- Day 78: I gave her a lot N because 2 are a bit mint green 🌿 -------------------------------------------------- Stretch is over now, the biggest one is 85 cm and the smallest 65 cm, the other two are about 75 cm. 📐 All plants are happy but 2 plants are mint green (only the middle part, bottom is normal green and the top is a bit darker but still mint green) with red stems. I gave them N but it seems like it didn't helped. Maybe it's an S deficit or just the low humidity?❔ PH is 6.2 Btw they building nice flowers 👌 Happy growing ✌️

Pictures are taken on day 91 / Fd 28 📸 -------------------------------------------------- Day 88: I flushed them because the damage was getting more and I thought it could be nutrients burning. -------------------------------------------------- The leafs are mint green and getting crispy from the outside. I flushed her but the outcoming drain had only 500ppm and 6,8ph. So I still thing its because of the low humidity peaks. BTW the buds are still growing nicely. Feel free to leave some advice✌️

Smoke and taste: This is my favourite haze, especially the sweet mint pheno 👍 the high is a strong head high, but if you smoke to much it will turn into a couch lock. The tast is a typical haze taste with a sweet lemon touch. (some phenotyp got a sweet mint taste)🍭🍋. Growing: Growing her is easy, even if I had a few struggle because I redesigned my environment. (changed lights and the air in- and exhaust. This lead to a nutrition imbalance/lock out/burning). I had a few mold problem, even if I had struggle with to low humidity ❔❕ I had a few fungus gnats which I could suggestfully fight with nematodes. At the end of flower I had "sprungschwänze" (Entognatha?), which I didn't fight because the harvest was close. I made a dry trim with a bowl trimmer. The buds on the pictures are 10 days dried, bowl trimmed and 2 weeks cured. *Note: light was dimmed to 400watt (@growdiaries, not possible to change the watt)
