The 2 week battle against WPM has taken a toll. I had to reapply the sulfur spray early this week and bought some "White Wash' from the local hydroponic store. It is basically just water with some kind of electron charge or some BS, but desperate times result in desperate measures. I've fought hard to keep the mildew from reaching the buds by wiping it off with papertowel on every single leaf I see with it every single day. Its been tedious but I didnt give up and have seen a drastic reduction in it overall. It has taken me an hour or two a day, combined with hitting remaining faint patches with the white wash water spray. Most spots I find are faint and minor with the odd leaf in the bushier sections hiding for awhile and building up a little bit of it. I pluck these ones right off. Daily 1gallon waterings with blackstrap molassess combined with heavier than usual rainfall has them good to go with waterings. I gave my last dose of nutrient early this week as well expecting to be approx 2-3 more weeks to harvest. I only doses at 1/4 strength just in case WPM got worse and I'd have to just harvest. At this point I was getting very antsy and looking to harvest. Everyday I inspect ready to pull the trigger if the mildew looks like it has gotten out of control. Most trichomes I found were milky with some clear and the very are amber head. Due to shorter days here in Ontario the girls are barely getting any direct sunlight in their shady corner of doom. Growth appears to have slowed down significantly likely due to this however as you can see some of the best bud sites on the the girls have thickened or filled out nicely, I was worried they would be far to airy but my persistence in keeping the mildew at bay to allow them more time has paid off. Rest assured I have a new sunny spot picked out for next year. As you can see through some of the buds on the lower branches pistils have all turned brown with some starting to look rusty hinting at them being overdue. Strange that the buds at the top are seemingly behind even though they get the most sun.

Best treatment for combating white powdery mildew at first sign of it? I used a non toxic sulfur spray with some defoliation of the more prominent leaves, especially any close to a bud site. It helped keep it at bay but had to be reapplied weekly and still fighting it daily.

Leaves. White powder

Looks like your close to harvest. If the Milk cure doesn't do the job you can use 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar to 1 quart of water and spray her early in the morning before the sun is shining on her to prevent any leaf burn. This is the more extreme treatment of the two. Hope this helps👍

A lot of growers are having issues with morning dew sitting on their plants because of the cooler temperatures. You can drive a few stakes to support and try to cover her with a lightweight frost blanket to keep her dry at night.

@DeeCee, Nice I hope it works out for you.

@Philindicus, yeah we are having real humid fall here and then nighttime temp fall hard. Good call might try that. The white wash may be working I noticed significantly less wpm today, sprayed again for good measure

@@Removed, hey I havnt weighed the haul yet its up drying still. I didn't have a scale yet to weight it wet. The smoke from the small branch that broke off I dried and smoked without a cure and it was good, not harsh, energetic high

I found some seeds in the dried buds from the first plant. Does this mean it is a hermie..?

Can anyone identify the bug in the 6th picture of week 13? I'll try to get a few more shots of these bastards.
