Took until the end of December before they were ready to harvest. Appeared to be a equal mix of clear, cloudy and amber trichomes when harvested. Ended up with 35 ounces wet of buds, and another 8 ounces of wet trim. The trim dried to 4.5 ounces for butter, and I ended up with 7.5 ounces of bud. Everything is curing now and will be ready in another two or three weeks!--
Had some leaf burn going on throughout most of the grow. I used Black Magic soil which was pretty well amended like a super soil, and probably didn't need much if any supplements.
Grow cycle took much longer than advertised. Started the seeds on September 1, but them in the soil on September 6, and harvested on December 30, for a total of 121 days. No real trouble with the grow outside of some leaf burn. Still two weeks or more away from getting to taste the finished product. The buds dried in the screen have a more grassy smell, while the colas that hung on the stem smell much more skunky. Ended up with about 4 ounces from the screen, and 3.5 ounces of colas, and another 5 ounces of decent trim. I'll be making butter out of the trim this weekend, I'll update when the curing is finished with the tastes and effects.
Got some minor leaf burn this week. Only a couple leaves, I thought it might have been from being manhandled during the LST training, but not sure. What do it look like to you?
hi mate.. you’re all cool, the spots didn’t appear because of lst, looks to me like a slight ph issue but nothing to worry about, remove those leaves and you are good ;)
Hi mate. Always start slow on the nutrients. The maximum dosage as described on the products is only a slight indication. Look at the plant and what she can handle or not. I used plagron nutrients and started with giving 1ml on 1lwater and then build up to half and so on. I only gave the maximum amount for 2 weeks and that's because I didn't had any sign of nutrientburn wich surprised me big time 😁 Every plant reacts different on these handlings. Good grow so far 👍
I had the same issue using fox farm nutrients. My leaf burn was significantly worse than yours and I was able to stop it in it’s tracks by upping the PH to 6.6-6.8 adding 2ml liquid seaweed per gallon to try and get some more growth so I won’t lose any yield and halving the doses of fox farm nutrients recommended on the bottle!
My strains are
gelato45 x wedding cake
Lemon OG
White Widow
I’m mid flower and they’re smelling and looking much better. Make sure you catch it quick. I lost My first 2 bag seed pants overnight due to ignorance with fox farm nutrients/doses/improper ph and I do not want that to happen to anyone
Hope that helps!
