1/05 - Day 94 - The two smaller plants are still damp so will leave them alone today and watch check the trichomes daily. Probably going to harvest in 5 days. May or may not give them one more dose of flawless finish. The big girl is showing some deficiency so I'm going to feed her later today. I will also post some additional pictures of the fan leaves to go along with my question to the community on diagnosing and treating the issue(s). 1/06 - Day 95 - I raised the oscillating fan so that it wasn't blowing directly on Bleu in the hope that it might reduce stress on her. I may have discovered the "root" of the issue. I've been using PH Up to raise the PH (6.2-6.8) every time I feed nutrients because I'm growing in soil and the Advanced Nutrients PH perfect line drops the PH to 5.8 every time like clockwork. My hypothesis is that the PH perfect buffering agent is dropping the PH of my soil down to 5.8 after I feed the plants. This would explain Cal-Mag deficiency that I already suspect, and fit with what also appears to be a phosphorus deficiency. Any other Growers out there have issues with PH perfect base nutes in soil? 1/07 - Day 96 -I picked up some Micronized lime at the hydro store. Top dressed 1 tsp per pot and watered it in lightly. 1/08 - Day 97 - Fed nutes to all 3 plants PH'd to 6.9. Runoff PH immediately after watering was 6.6. I'm not sure if thats a good or bad sign to be honest. I hope it means the soil PH is 6.6 and not that the 3 point drop in the waters PH from 6.9-6.6 in the time it took to drain through the soil means the Soil PH is much lower. Discovered tiny white bugs with long skinny bodies in the runoff water. Not a ton but enough that it was obvious. Then I noticed they floated up to the top of the water when it pooled on top of the soil during watering. I poked around online and I couldn't figure out what they are with any certainty. Hoping soil lice or springtails but who knows. I would have take a picture but they're so small I would have had to use my jewellers loup to get them in focus. Might apply some peroxide just in case. Will monitor for a few more days first. 1/09 - Day 98 - Not quite ripe. Maybe 1% amber trichomes. Looks like they all could keep going a while longer. They're getting quite chubby and the ratio of anxiety:excitement that I'm feeling is trending in a positive direction. Not much longer and it looks like I'll have more flowers than I know what to do with 😍. My tents reeks so much when I open it I can't tell if there are any differences in smells between any of the 3 plants, but it smells glorious. The double ended carbon filter has completely scrubbed any smell from my basement when the tent is closed though. If anyone else is looking to keep a stealthy indoor grow i highly recommend. The dual benefit is that it also significantly reduces the noise of the fans.

I’m running a viparspectra 600W reflector series LED 30 inches above these seedlings with only the veg lights turned on. The seeds went in the water 14 days ago and my question is: when should I turn on the bloom lights as well?

If you want tight internodes and keep her short and squat. Use the veg switch only. But if you want more vigorous growth with a little stretch I recommend using both switches. And if you pick option one you can keep veg switch on till week 3 of flower then turn both switches on. This will keep those internodes tight set you up with some nice dense bud.

Nute Burn Plan. Lower light to 24 inches and turn on bloom switch. Flush soil with 8 litres of water (PH 6.5) per pot. Questions: will increasing the intensity of light increase plants ability to absorb nutrients, or simply stress them more? Is 8L water/ 10L pot enough to flush?

@MediciGrade Dont lower your lights as the extra heat will only add to the stress of a nutrient toxicity. Do your plain water flush until the runoff ppm is back to wherever it was before you overfed.

Bleu (largest of the 3 plants) is ~14 days behind the other 2. Is such a variance in size & rate of maturation common when growing from seed? Does LST/HST amplify the differences between phenotypes? She's so tall I'm worried about light stress. Should I reduce the light schedule?

Reduce the light and you will reduce your yield. LST and hst will amplify nothing , it will keep them shorter and will allow you to build a shape but will not reduce the way they are growing , a tall plant remains tall and a short plant remains short , you can manage the height and size but that's all. From seed you have different type of shape , smell and colours due to the multiples phenotypes available, you make your selection to keep a clone and maybe creating a clone only strain ( I am calling it a clone only phenotype , a strain is not a cutting )

Brown spots and yellowing pictured above. My best guess is a Cal/Mag deficiency. Was feeding Botanicare Cal-Mag Plus at 1 ml/l up until ~2 weeks ago (friend has been watering while I was out of town). Before I feed her, any advice on what the problem is and how to correct it?

I think this is down to the pH being slightly low, try to increase it to 6.5 and flush as budx says. It could be pests so check under the leaves very closely for any evidence... I hope its the first issue. 🌱😁

Flushing in fabric pots is not to easy, because tey keep everything very well inside. because of theis you will have to let them dry ( bottom area) before you get them back in the box. I put my plants for a nicht on a grid lot let them drip out

@Mrs_Larimar, Great point! I hadn't thought about that. I'll have to figure out a way to elevate them from their saucers and direct airflow underneath the pots.

10L of plain water in a 10L pot, is enough if the soil isn’t too dry. Just make sure there’s about 7L to 8L from the drain. Water should be clear and clean at the end of flushing.
