It's been a Cnut of a week as far as the weather is concerned , Hail storms , Constant wind and rain plus day temps around 11-13 celcius
and overnight as low as 5 .
The young plant is growing still but if this weather continues I worry I may lose it like I did with the Africa unites seedling that succumbed to the
Less than ideal conditions. Hopefully things will improve before the next update.
Going along as well as can be expected , Had some sunshine the last few days so that was a bonus. Hopefully the summer will be a good one without any
major heat waves or adverse weather events .
Other than a very hot day yesterday its been great weather here. This indica dominant pheno is looking really nice and I'll decide whether to top it or not shortly
Welcome back to my Pineapple chunk diary. This week has gone very smoothly and the plant is nice and healthy.
I'm planning on beginning a series of topping starting from today I'll be taking the very tope node in an attempt to make this girl as bushy as possible.
pineapple Chunk from barneys Farm is now 5 weeks old and looking very Indica like in her appearance.
I topped her and now expecting to have more of a bushier plant than the typical christmas tree apex type plant structure.
This Pineapple chunk plant is really starting to hit it's straps and is looking Beautiful. I hope the pot will be big enough to contain her.
In the above image (4) you can see the two tops that are developing after the previous topping I did.
Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk Update 15th December 2019
This plant is a beauty!! Good growth and a nice shape., I took two cuttings which will be used for breeding purposes.
I intend on never running out of this strains genetics by creating feminised replica seeds.
She was Fed only water this week the super soil is providing everything for now.
Cheers for looking in on my latest update for this diary 👍
Back again for another update for my Pineapple chunk by Barneys Farm Diary.
The last weeks Hot weather did this lovely lady a world of good as she grew about 15-20cm !! I,m going to start some HST by bending some of the middle branches horizontally to add strength to the branches and allow more light in on the main cola area.
Thankyou for looking in on my Diary and have a very merry Christmas 👍
Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk Week 10 of Veg December 29th 2019
Hi Folks well we now have aproximately 6 weeks until The day lengths shorten enough to trigger flowering. My main goal now is to try to keep the plant in tip top
condition aswell as provide the support the branches will need when the buds start to get bigger. This is the biggest Ive managed to get this plant to grow before now, and with 6 weeks of veg still to go plus the stretch and I might just end up with a nice haul of juicy Pineapple chunk goodness for my efforts.
******As a side note I have two clones I took from this plant that I have already sprayed with my STS reversing mix for Breeding Purposes (see above pic)
Cheers for checking out my Diary once again see you next year 👊
Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk update 5th Jan 2020 11th week of veg over and done with.
Ive done quite a bit since the last update as far as this girl is concerned 1st of all i erected a greenhouse that covers all of my Photo period plants.
and secondly I transplanted the Pineapple chunk out of the pot she was in and put her straight into the ground so I'm expecting and hoping that she will explode once the stretch starts in about 5 weeks or so. The soil I moved her into is really nice and fertile as it was used to grow winter vegetables and Broad beans.
The growing of legumes can benefit the soil by bringing nitrogen to the surface to be made available to anything else growwing in the same soil.
I gave the area I transplanted her into a good dose of Azospirillum and Mycorrhizal innoculants after she went into the ground.
Thankyou for checking out my update see you next week 👍
Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk 12th Jan 2020
The main stem shot up another inch or so and Ive added support strings from the Greenhouses roof to the Plants branches.
I have a batch of Dr greenthumbs "High Tea" on the go that will be fed to all of my Girls to give them a nice healthy boost for the next few weeks of Veg that is left.
The plant eminates a stinky smell when touched so I'm taking that as a good indication of Potentcy potential.
Thanks for checking out this weeks update 👍
Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk 19th Jan 2020
Not all that much to report for this lady , other than I did some more branch supporting and gave her a drink of mollasses infused water.
Some of the main stems have pretty good internodal spacings (see pic) other than that nothing to report.
So I guess I'll leave it at that and see you next week. 👍
Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk starting to Flower 26th Jan 2020
This girl is officially in flowering mode 🙏🙏🙏 yeehah!! This is the start of the hardest part of the grow in my opinion as there are many many things that could potentially
ruin my crop or result in only an average harvest. One of the main things is patience and I'll need it 😄 During flowering time I usually get a little paranoid about things
like odour , cops , Moldy buds, nosey cnuts and did I say the cops?? It should take about 10 weeks for this girl to fully ripen which puts it at an early April Harvest.
Anyway I don't want to get too far ahead of myself so for now I'm concentrating on giving the plants the nutrition they need to grow those big fat buds we love.
I have given her a cup of Dr Greenthumbs Bud and Bloom soil amendment mix plus will be feeding some diluted (1:5) Dr Greenthumbs High Tea.
I'd like to wish all Australians on Grow diaries a very Happy Australia Day and Keep safe everyone 👍
Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk 2nd Feb 2020
Well folks I fucked up big time on Friday........ Because the weather was much cooler (18max) I decided to treat my plants with some Potassium bicarbonate foliar spray
BAD IDEA!!! Even tho it was cooler the bloody leaves on all of my green house grown plants got foliar burns 😱 Ive probably set them back a week and lost some yield
I am so pissed at myself right now I just hope they can recover from this as I have put in a lot of work getting the plants to this stage . Fingers crossed for me folks

9th Feb 2020
This time last week I was in despair that this plant would be stuffed, and would not come back from the damage inflicted apon it from yours truly.
But with some TLC apologies and seaweed solution she is making a strong comeback. All the colas have lots of new pistil growth all along the nodes.
The downside is that because I lost some foliage I will need to watch out for deficiencies and provide everything the plant needs along the road to harvest.
I grabbed a bottle of liquid potash that I can use to provide a potassium boost mid flowering. Also the use of Compost teas, worm castings , mollasses and the comfrey tea I have on the go should be more than adequate to get some chunkiness to these Pineapple chunk buds.
Thanks for reading my update see you next week. 👊
Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk Organic Soil Grow
Diary update 16th Feb 2020
I am happy with the way the buds are growing on this girl as they seem to get denser in pistil growth every day.
Already there is a noticeable smell eminating from her and a light touch of the buds will leave your fingers sticky.
Out of the Flowering girls I have growing, I gave this one the "heaviest" feeding regime this past week.
Day 1 was a fed of Liquid potash , Mycorrhizae , seaweed solution, mollasses and my own mix of Vitamins and minerals.
Day 2 was Water only
Day 3 Nothing at all
Day 4 Water only
Day 5 Fed Worm castings, seaweed solution, liquid potash
Epsom salts and dolomite lime ( both sprinkled over soils surface and watered in)
Day 6 Nothing at all
Day 7 (yesterday) Water only
Thankyou for reading this weeks update for my Pineapple chunk diary be back next week Grey_Wolf 2/16/20

👆
Shit I love this strain!! I mean check out the thickness of the buds on this girl. 👌👌 And they still have a long way to go too. 😜
This pheno is very Fruity smelling with tropical fruit being the main aroma I can detect. There is also a lot of stickiness amongst those flowers
so I maintain the fans general blowing direction over them as I'd hate to see mold set in because of all the humidity we are getting at the moment.
We haven't really seen much of the sun for the last 10 days or so as it's been very overcast with the odd Thunderstorm or light rain shower.
The Heat's still around tho despite the clouded conditions , with the daily temps still hitting the mid Thirties.
The Pineapple chunk lady is on her second day of no watering or feeding to allow the soil to dry a little and allow more air to reach the root zone.
When I do water it will be mixed up with a little liquid potassium and Mycorrhizae foor the roots. Not a lot else to report other than I left my radio playing some classical
music for the girls in the greenhouse , as I have read that they can respond well to it. Who knows? It may work 😏
but it also masks the sound of the fan a bit so It's it's all good. 😎
Thanks for reading this weeks update & If you liked it , Please let me know by leaving a like.
Cheers 👍👍👍
Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk update 1st March 2020
Six weeks of flowering completed
Another week down and still hardly any sunshine to speak off. Everyday has been either rainy or just completely clouded and humid.
Despite this the Pineapple chunk plant is still stacking nicely and the buds are already rock hard in the middle.
This is fantastic as far as potential yield goes but I will definately need to keep an eye on them for any signs of mold or budrot.
It would be bloody devastating to lose the buds to rot after all my efforts so far.
As far as feeds go I have basiccally fed the soil first and foremost by using some more worm castings , Azospirillum and
Mycorrhizae. I also added in one feed of liquid potash and Epsom salts. Ive needed to water this plant the most of all of my girls because it's
planted directly in the ground rather than in a container. It's also got the biggest buds which may be another reason for the extra needed feeds.
There isn't much else I can do other than hope for some fine weather.
Thanks for reading this weeks Update and feel free to leave a like . 😃
Cheers 👍
Barneys Farm pineapple Chunk 7 weeks of Flowering Completed
8th March 2020
I found some Bud rot in a bud early this past week and immediately removed it. This had me very concerned so after I washed my hands I inspected all of the
remaining buds and couldn't find anymore which was both a blessing and a Warning to be extra vigilant from Now on. Luckily the Constant high humidity caused from the overcast conditions has finally abated and this weeks forecast is for Mostly sunny and Dry days. The Big fan that can be seen in the above images runs 24/7 now to
create a constant medium strength Breeze that physically moves the branches and hpefully inhibits any further Rot fom occuring.
Barneys Farm suggests a possible 56 day harvest for this strain but in the two times I have previously grown it . The phenotypes required 70+ days to get 20% amber trichomes.
To be perfectly honest I doubt i'll be able to let this one run for that long because of the potential loss of bud thru rotting. I'm only at day 49 now so I guess I will be
counting myself lucky if I can get it to around the 60 day mark ?
Been needing to feed and water quite often as its drinking up everything I throw at it.
Other than that not a lot else to report other than those big colas are very heavy already and dense which is my main concern but happy to see them so fat too 😎
Thanks once again to you all for reading my Update , Please leave a like if you liked the update and I'll see ya's next week 👍
Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk
8 weeks of flowering completed
15th March 2020
Welcome back 😀
Well it's Day 56 for these pineapple chunk buds and my hopes of running them much beyond 60 days have been dashed.
The rain and high humidity has returned and will hang around for atleast the next 5-7 days.
After already having to chop out a little budrot from a cola I do not want to run the risk of losing any more .
So i will continue to monitor them twice a day and if I see anything I don't like I will harvest the biggest buds immediately.
Because of this I have stopped all supplements except for some Mollasses that I mix into the water they get.
Speaking of watering, because of this high humidity any watering I do will be only be sparingly as to not contribute to the humidity levels.
This has been a fun grow and I'm more than happy with how well these buds developed in such a relatively short time (8weeks)
as it's most likely the next update will be the harvest I would like to quickly thank everyone who followed along during this grow you know who you are and 👍
I appreciate your interest and support 🙏 Cheers for reading my update See you all soon
Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk
Organic Outdoors
Harvested Week 22
Welcome back to what is my Final update for this wonderful strain from Barneys Farm.
Every time I grow the chunk and finally get to smoke some, it instantly reminds me exactly
why I hold it in such high regard.
It consistently grows fat colas that are packed with thc and resin. Which in high humidity environments can be it's downfall.
And it was for that reason I decided to Harvest at day 58. Firstly I removed the largest buds and then I cut the main stem close to the ground and then hung the entire remaining plant upside down for 24 hours.
After that I stripped the plant down and put the buds into a vertical drying rack.
There they stayed with a fan blowing on them until they were dry enough to trim and paper bag. After 3-5 days in the paper bag I did
a final tidy up trim and deposited the buds into the jars for curing.
The whole grow was easy the plant showed no deficiency issues and the super soil did an outstanding job with these fat sticky buds I
now have curing away. The best part about my soil is that I can reuse it over and over
again providing I keep it active and vibrant with life. Over this coming winter I'll be using it to grow Broad beans for my family
and the legumes will help release nitrogen into the soil when the finished plants get chopped up and dug back into the ground.
*** Just before I sign off I'd like to thank
a few growers who showed their support along the way like @Jinks101 @ROM101 @MagicMan
@Mr_Growgreen @little_miss_grenthumb @Shooey
@raptor65 @JP148 @Med_in_Tropic and if Ive forgotten anyone I'm sorry.
Thanks also to you for reading this Diary I appreciate it 😀
I hope you liked it.
