Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk Organic Outdoors Harvested Week 22 Welcome back to what is my Final update for this wonderful strain from Barneys Farm. Every time I grow the chunk and finally get to smoke some, it instantly reminds me exactly why I hold it in such high regard. It consistently grows fat colas that are packed with thc and resin. Which in high humidity environments can be it's downfall. And it was for that reason I decided to Harvest at day 58. Firstly I removed the largest buds and then I cut the main stem close to the ground and then hung the entire remaining plant upside down for 24 hours. After that I stripped the plant down and put the buds into a vertical drying rack. There they stayed with a fan blowing on them until they were dry enough to trim and paper bag. After 3-5 days in the paper bag I did a final tidy up trim and deposited the buds into the jars for curing. The whole grow was easy the plant showed no deficiency issues and the super soil did an outstanding job with these fat sticky buds I now have curing away. The best part about my soil is that I can reuse it over and over again providing I keep it active and vibrant with life. Over this coming winter I'll be using it to grow Broad beans for my family and the legumes will help release nitrogen into the soil when the finished plants get chopped up and dug back into the ground. *** Just before I sign off I'd like to thank a few growers who showed their support along the way like @Jinks101 @ROM101 @MagicMan @Mr_Growgreen @little_miss_grenthumb @Shooey @raptor65 @JP148 @Med_in_Tropic and if Ive forgotten anyone I'm sorry. Thanks also to you for reading this Diary I appreciate it πŸ˜€ I hope you liked it. Grey_Wolf 22/3/20

@Grey_Wolf, Outside grows can sometimes be a crapshoot. All those critters and organisms. Defoliation and airflow I feel is key to prevent mold formation. They look good. πŸ‘ We can only do what we can do.🀞🀞 Hope it’s a beast.

Another good hauls for an excellent weed. Congratulations. Have you grown purslane? Some guy told me it’s good for the soil. And Thai people do eat it as vegetable.

@Grey_Wolf, yeah, pig weeds, since it is everywhere, nobody sells it. I picked mine up from a beach. I makes good ground cover. Helps removing salt from soil. It takes mineral fertilizer very well. And if you mulch that, pig weed muclh is a good organic fertilizer.

@Med_in_Tropic, I didn't even know what purslane was until I searched for it and guess what ... It grows everywhere here!! lol but we call it pigweed https://sesl.com.au/blog/plant-the-month-purslane/of-
