Seems to be growing well. Kinda worried about my temp being to cold (sometimes 45°) when lights are off.

I would also say it's a personal preference when to top. Honestly you can pretty much do whatever you like to your plant as long it is in veg without doing damage, (as long as you don't go all out and kill it :b). Topping and general plant training is all about shaping your plant into a form or structure of your personal preference 😉 I get that some of these things might be a bit hard to grasp if you don't have much experience in growing plants or weed. I wouldn't recommend you to do topping before you have grown out a few plants naturally/LST. Neither would I recommend to top if you depent on the yield of the plant and isn't sure what you are doing, simply just to avoid reducing your yields 😊 Personally I don't top before I fell the plant has put out some solid roots and started growing properly, not that you can't do it earlier you just have a risk of hurting the plant to the point of no return 😉

Hi Hotdamnitman Every one likes different times and heights for topping. Some people do it straight after 2 nodes. Other when 5th nod appears. It is really up to you and your plant Growth and Health status. I personally done it on first node whit plant high off 6cm. And it worked great. Done at node 2/3/4 and it always showed great benefits. Best way to decide When to top should be when you feel your girl is Growing vibrantly, quick and healthy. Depends at what high you will do topping if you plan To 1-to save stretch space 2-to train for more bud sites and les popcorn buds. 3-to prepare for Scrog method 4-to achieving better light coverage So is up to you let the plant talk to you and decided to top her depending on your needs. Hope this helps And good luck with your grow.

For the first topping, a good rule of thumb is to cut the plant above the 5th node—this will give you enough branches on the bottom for the plant to bush out properly. You can also top the plant above the 3th node.

I took off some fan leaves two days ago to get some light to the lower branches and today I came back to the leaves looking like this. Not sure what's going on. Any ideas? Other then that she's looking great. Just waiting on some new light and I'll put her into flower. Day 26. She is looking great! I decided from looking at other grows on here I'd try training out. What do you guys think?

I've never LSTed so I thought I'd give it a try. Not looking like I'll have a huge plant by any means but we'll see. I'll give it this week before I put her into flower.

Going great put into flower Monday and found out I've got 2 females out of the 4. Kinda sad about that but stoked the GDP was female! Buds are looking great. Decided to defoliat one last time. Thought she was getting pretty tight and would need air flow.

This girl is looking amazing! I gave her some bloom and she immediately started packing on crystals. She has taken on a very fruity smell, almost like a cherry limeade. Any suggestions on using nutrients? I'd like to get optimal yield. All I have right now is fox farms bloom, thinking about getting cal meg.(I know the lemon haze needs it!)

She's looking amazing! The smell and stickiness is out of this world! It smells like a cherry limeade with a hint of orange. She's got buds everywhere, almost too many. Kinda worried about mold with how sticky and compact she is. How about the white tipped buds, is that a bad thing? Too much light? I'm still only using the bloom nutrients because that's all I have. Would honey do the same thing as the molasses? I really hope I can get a seed or two from this plant! Had I known it was going to be this good I would of made many many clones! I haven't been this excited since I first noticed I could grow a beard! Lmao this is a highly anticipated harvest! Should I defoliat one more time ?

Looking great, filling out and getting very dense! Still smells great!! Absolutely cant wait to cut her down . Probably around 3 weeks to go. She looks so good I kinda want to mess with her and make it hermaphrodite and pollinate the lemon haze so I can have some awesome lemon daddy feminized seeds. What do you guys think? Good idea?

Easy going, rebuilt the grow room this week. It's way more functionable. Hoping I can get some ventilation ducting and fans soon so I can better control the temp. This granddaddy purp is looking great tho. No real problems. I wish I had better nutrients to see what this could really do! I'm giving her the max dose this bloom calls for but I think she could handle more. Not nearly as tall as I'd hoped for. I've never LSTed before and just didn't know what to expect. And also I got a light that I've never heard of tell i got it and didn't know what to expect. Well I'll tell you what, this optic6 is a beast. I'll really put it to the test next grow. I'm hoping I can get at least 6 females out of the 12 I have started. That should be plenty for a 4x4 grow. I really hope for a seed or two off this GDP. I dont have a microscope to look at the trichomes so no idea how much longer on this. Is there any other way to tell ?

Going great. She just keeps getting fatter and fatter! I haven't had any problems this last week. Kinda looks like it's going to start foxtailing but who knows. This girl is going to have a long flower time for sure! I'm going to wait her out as long as I can.
