In week 1, the girls germinated nicely in peat pods (the Lowryder #2 popped couple days faster than Auto Lemons,), and I then transplanted into some fox farm co co choir mix ("Bush Dr") 3 gal fabric pots around the end of week 1. This will be my 2nd grow ever, and my 1st indoor.

I moved my light a bit closer and turned on the "bloom" led switch (in addition to veg), and the girls seemed to appreciate it. One of the autolemons is looking pretty scraggly, going to call her Gimpy. Was going to give a little calmag on day 12, but thought better of it an will wait until day 15.

Day 15, first nutrient supplement - a light cal mag (2ml/gallon). Also, dialed back to 21 hour light schedule and installed a small space heater in tent to help ensure the night temps don't drop too bad. Day 18, gave the bigger feed noted above, nice warm day ~82f. Day 21, LST on Gimpy and the less-vigorous (of the two) Lowryder 2. One Autolemon and Lowryder2 are being left alone for comparison purposes.

Day 24 - gave slightly bigger feed (see above). This gave AutoLemon a wee bit o' tip burn (see Day 27 pic), but the Lowryder2s are loving it. So I backed off nutrients for rest of this week. Day 27 cold snap, Day 28 rainstorm - glad I have the little space heater in the tent 😁 to keep the temps from plummeting.

Day 30 - fed all four, but gave Autolemons just cal-mag only; Lowryder2s got tiger bloom and bloomax as well. Also took off a few small fan leaves with brown spots etc. Artificially keeping the temperature at 70, due to cold snap and rainstorms.

Day 50 - cold weather (~40f) keeping it above ~55f in tent, and I realized I had accidentally raised my lights 12" more than intended last week. I suspect this has slowed development of all 4. Also, my flowers aren't smelly (yet). Going to try adding Terpinator. Day 52 - feed per chart above. Day 56 - feed.

I started the week in a panic thinking I had male flowers sprouting....nope...thank you for helping me through that, fellow growers :) and sorry for the false alarm! All 4 girls doing great, and I think the Terpinator is doing its thing. Day 67 - fed all 4.

Male flowers sprouting on lower foliage of my 2 more developed lady (Hermie) plants - in week 10 with autoflowers. The buds unaffected but these new male flowers in lower foliage shocked/concerned me. Do I need to worry / harvest immediately? What should I do?

Those, to me anyway, look like calyxes. If you keep an eye on them they'll get covered in trichomes and sprout a pistil. That's what they look like to me

LR2 close to harvest (we've now reached the advertised / estimated 6 week flowering time), but waiting on those amber trichomes and just not seeing any yet. Womp womp. After research, thinking that I won't be flushing in this situation (where I've stayed pretty conservative on the nutes throughout, so I'd be surprised about any excess). Plus, high times recently published that study by nute co finding that nonflushed plants = preferred in blind taste test, and Ed R (highly recommend his grow manual, btw!) in his writing seems skeptical about concept of "flushing" as well. But of course, any thoughts from fellow GD growers on the merits of flushing would be most welcome...

Spotted amber trichomes on my untrained Lowryder2 ("LR2"), so I harvested. Since I have another LR2 still going, I will wait to post a formal harvest report once both are finished (current estimate = 1 more week). On the other hand, the Auto Lemons ("AL" and "Gimpy") both look to have at least 2+ weeks to go. But despite being pretty far behind in terms of speed, they appear to be producing and laying the groundwork for much denser / more promising nugs as compared to the LR2s. So I'm going to give these lady lemons as loooooong as they need to fully mature. Lastly, I'll be sticking to my guns on the "no flush" approach (see week 11 for my rationale on this) and keeping the nutes steady through to harvest.

Let us begin with a quote from the warrior-poet Snoop Lion: "No stress, no seeds, no stems, no sticks . . . some of that real sticky-icky-icky, woo-wee, put it in the air . . . " I'm just trying to keep tabs on the flower growth/maturity this week. Coming up on 9 weeks of flowering completed, but I'm not complaining because the buds continue to bulk up (seemingly). I intend to keep charging along through to harvest--no flush, no 48 hour dark period, no high stress training or other similar voodoo. Along these same lines, I'm also happy to report that I've ordered my HerbsNow cannabis dryer, so I look forward to reporting on that re: the upcoming Auto Lemon harvest in few weeks.

This strain was perfect for my first indoor grow op---it was resilient and tough as I worked out some kinks with my lighting and air circulation and feeding scheduling and attempted low stress training. Plus at harvest it also gave me the opportunity to work out a drying and curing area. So I am grateful for the experience and knowledge I picked up along the way. Looking forward to the Auto Lemon Skunk harvest in a few weeks!

Moving forward and trying to stay patient and not harvest too early. I've spotted just a few rando amber trichomes, but my goal is to wait to harvest until I hit ~10%. It's getting hard for me to tell if there's any continued growth/development with the flowers (I think there's some small growth still). But I'm starting to think that I harvested too early on the LR2 and that it hurt my yield, so trying to avoid making that mistake twice 😬

Hi there. I started this week with an embarrassing, face-palm-worthy incident: while installing a 20lb carbon filter in my tent, I dropped said filter right onto my two plants, breaking both apical meristems and smashing a cola 😭. Apart from this, the damage was minor (just a few branches). So I trimmed what I could from the wreckage, and salvaged a lovely nugg from my autolemon (pictured above). I will move my plants out of the tent BEFORE doing work like that in future. Holy smokes I'm an idiot.

Harvested my untrained AL on Day 110 (Day 1 = first day above ground). I'm happy with the yield - I'd estimate ~2+oz on the plant. My final, unharvested, Autolemon from this grow has maybe another week or two before chop. So, hopefully, I'll have that done & a more detailed harvest report on the books next week.

She's got some rather unbecoming tip/nute/light burn going on. Some of it looks like maybe end of life cycle. But flowers are plumping up nicely still, so gonna give her another week, tentatively. Getting towards end of week 17 here, so I took a close look at the trichomes last night and was very disappointing on maturity - a lot of clear / unswollen trich heads. On the other hand, the a lemony/skunky smell has been steadily increasing So we may have a ways to go, tbd.

Two plants and two very different phenos expressed here, which allowed me to stagger my harvest by about 3 weeks. That really helped me out since I'm a n00b home grower with a family & a lot of demands on my time. I used a herbsnow dryer, and was impressed with the results (legitimate 96 hour dry-down no mold and trichs still look good, pretty cool!). Although I coulda trimmed the buds even further to give more bag appeal, my goal was to maintain trichomes and so I went with a rough trim only. I'm going to buy some more of these seeds in bulk soon; I think this strain is a winner.
