Its doing alright so far, took a little bit for the roots to hit the water below. Now that they have they are going to town and the growth is crazy from day to day. Excited for this grow. I have done 6 other 4AM and they have all been some of my favorite smoke ever. Mephisto puts out the potency.
Definitely seeing what everyone talks about when it comes to hydro. First few weeks is like "well should've just stuck to dirt " and it's like she hears you and Bam. Explodes right up. She is taking the nutrients well, showing no signs of wear and tear so far. I tend to be heavy handed when it comes to feeding so it's nice to have a strong girl on my hands. Mephisto never disappoints. It's already letting you know it's smell little by little. Started throwing white a little so it's beginning it's transition to it final phase of life.
It is definitely blowing up more and more by the day. Gaining about a half inch or so of new growth every day. I did a week with the open sesame at 1/4 tsp and upped it for the second week but it proved to be a bit much so I'm going to stay with the 1/4 tsp until switching over to the beastie. The smell is starting to coming through a little bit, that grape rubber funk this stuff has always put out. I'll give it to mephisto that the uniformity of every 4 AM I've ever grown is ridiculously close. They might as well be clones. Yield always leaves something to be desired but the potency and terpenoid profiles are off the charts. Excited to see how this thing puts out in the bucket.
It's coming along nicely, the two weeks of open sesame definitely helped it put out sets. Now we shall see how the beastie bloomz goes. Everything is looking good, slight droop in the leaves right before the lights are about to kick off. This girl is getting hammered with feed and light. She seems to be taking it pretty well.
