Brand new tent after the light leaks made 2 of my last herm out. 2 weeks from the flip :) all going well thee 2 sativas at the rear have been tied down to try and keep canopy level even.
18th day into flower after the 3 week trim and netting installed to try and control some of the chaos. Looking good. can see the trikes forming everything is nominal thanks to the cooler weather. One plant did not develop pistils. So i decided to remove it to a separate tent to observe better may have to discard. bud growth is going well hope they mature nicely still early days around 42 left. will update more or try :) thanks to the breeder for making it possible :)
wow seed stockers the arouma coming off the ak420 is amazing along with the widow i mean the trike formation is insane :D cant wait for these next two weeks as just added the overdrive first time using it heard alot of good things such a potent smell cant wait for the taste after flush,dry and cure.
I had one bud turn orange so I clipped it from the plant. could this have been mould ?? all other bud sites are bright white pistils only the odd hair turning which is to be expected in week 5 of flower. any info appreciated.

Firstly, plants look great and you're coming up to the finish line here. Great job👍. There's not a picture of the orange bud you mentioned but I do believe I know what you're talking about. If you were able to add a photo of what you're seeing, that may help us question answers a tad more, but let's just talk on what we know and your current environment.
A bud starting to turn orange may very well be a localized anomaly of the plant. If this is the only area you saw the dis-coloration, then I would not panic one bit. Some of our plants can act funny near the end and in no way, shape or form (according to the environmental numbers) do I believe this is bud rot you're looking at. I believe this is a simple phenotype and/or random mutation/anomaly. You didn't do anything wrong by chopping her (you were taking a precaution) but it may have been nothing at all. Your temperature and relative humidity readings are on PAR and these conditions should not start a bud rot scenario ( SHOULD NOT! lol). You're running 25 degrees and 40%, that is optimal. Once we go into the 26+ and 60%+ RH territory should bud rot become a possible issue.
If you're concerned with this dis-coloration/issue and your gut tells you something is off (possible bud rot starting), I simply suggest dropping your temp and RH (23 degrees and 25-35% RH). At this stage of flower, the lower 25% humidity should not hurt them at all👍 Lastly, air circulation is key. Adding additional fans for air flow will help keep any standing moisture from establishing itself and/or effecting your plants.
Things look great, I don't think you're in bud rot territory and I genuinely feel this may be a simple, localized issue with a simple top. If you can add pictures in the update, that would be great! Going into 5th week of flower mostly still white but some odd hairs going here and there better picture quality here can really see that white widow is begging to sticky up nicley the ak 420 is going extremely well and showing no point of stopping :) 2 weeks from the flush :) thanks to the breeder again :) Updated week 37th day iin flower ak is going to be done sooner than the WW but the WW is turning trichs are still clear so still atleast one or 2 more weeks of maturity will now begin the flush in 3 days. thanks for advice from jinks and everyone else who commeted enjoy the updated pics )
Going into week number 6 we do have a slight nitrogen defeceintcy not alot I can do abbout it now without rushing out and buying more only 2 around 2 weeks left I will be sure to adjust my resivior this only bbeing my 2nd attempt still working out the kinks atleast when i have adjusteed the feed I have the recipe I can use goinng forward :) enjoy pics :) girls are going very well hope they fatten up abit in the next 19 days. only 3 days left until I start to flush :)
Going into week number 7 done abit of defoliating ready for the chop. 7 days left of growth then 7 days flush may come down sooner like one week early for the ak but one of the widows has atleast 2 weeks left maybe longer trikes aree starting to go cloudy but only about 50 percent aree milky so I think a week flush and the AK can come down. not lookinng forward to cropping one without thee other but hey needs must :) enjoy the updated pics looking lovley :)
Drying takes around 7-9 days. I would recommend growing this all day long the taste is that old ak tatse you remember way back when and not even just that the stone is very similar too well worth the time. Thanks to seedstockers and all other growers that have helped the widows have come down today so I will get around to trimming them up the neext few days then see about drying the wet bud is just a guesstimate as i tend to dry it first as quickly as time will allow so i can move to curing them lovley buds and get that smell and taste to maximum :)
Whit widow is now down. Will update taste and yeild when dry looks around 4 ounces will update when dry. Absolutely Stinks so sickly smells like vomit almost Cant wait to rip this. Will update taste and such sorry bit rushed will edit bits soon :) Wow 6 ounces end weight :) Wow the widow is very strong my mates are loving it :) probably the fastest drying bud ever the white widow took like 4 days to dry enough to smoke and cure 1 oz curing will update pictures next week cure should be almost done by then.
