So pumped for these puppies. So far everything has gone flawlessly on this round though it's early. Switched over to rapid rooters and went 10/10 germination (usually I lose 1 or 2 with a soak and paper towel). To me the rooters were a way better method they popped in 2 days at latest and sprung right up and out of their shell.
3 of these came out the womb a neon yellow
Coming along slowly ,
I keep having terrible experiences with plastic pots.
I want to start my plants in something small so it can dry out quicker and grow vigorously but I want it to breathe too.
I'm torn between starting in final pots to avoid this or looking for alternatives. I transplanted before the were even close to root bound but the didn't really have any negative response. I think the rhizo is well worth the money it's like seaman from a unicorn mixed with rattlesnake venom just a little bit 'll get ya
Photos taken on day 26 from germination (Day 23/24 from sprout) 11.13.17. Day 29 from germ is today 11.15.17. Beginning of week 4 and still need them to veg out for another couple weeks to get a good yield I think so hopefully they pick it up quick
A couple of these were stunted especially #2 I think whichever the first pictures are but have gotten their footing now and began growing rapidly. Unfortunately pre flower at the 3rd/4th node might result in a light harvest which is fine with me as long as the nugs are top shelf
2 out of the 4, will update the other 2 tmm, my fault on the delay there's been a lot of shuffling between tents and chaos but what a beautiful strain very excited
Fed 2 of them ripe by accident which is why they look al yellow and shit. They are growing strong and reek of fresh berries. Just a beautiful plant very similar to LSD
Ooooohhhh I fuckin love this strain
All of them are a little different but there all just easy on the eyes and beautiful
Started flushing 1 of them, 1 more is right behind and 2 still have a few weeks. The 2 least developed were both mutants at the beginning and the one that was seemingly doomed had turned out to potentially be the best [last one in sequence of pics]
I still have 6more seeds I will be running at some point within the next 2 month
The first one was chopped yesterday, second on flush and last 2, which are in separate tents have another week or 2 left. They all grew unique none really the same. All have very strong berry smell with diesel undertones except the 3rd one it has a lime kick to it. I was amazed at the colours during flush it is a beautiful strain.
Harvested one and was pleasantly surprised by the yield. Smells like actual blackberries but buds are a little airy. This wasn't my best run, did minimal training, they were all under different lights and 2 were in separate tents. The first two in the pictures above are far and away the best phenos, if I wasn't still waiting for a bottle of collidal silver to start experimenting with breeding I would have tried to spray both of these. They are completely different, the first one has tiny but rock solid bud sites and is a lighter purple, the second one is dark purple with huge fat solid nugs. The weird thing is these ones were the two least exciting up until mid flower. I almost gave away the 2nd one at one point as it started out as a mutant growing leaf fingers out of/on top of pre existing fan leaves. The 1st one looks a little cooler but I think the best one of the second with the bigger nugs. I have a feeling that the end result will be impressive in terms of pure quality on those 2. Don't care about yield here these girls are welcome riggt into my head stash. Last flush tmm then axe.
This was an easy strain to grow, all 4 were different the first one and the third one in the pictures below were 9/10's and the 2nd and 4th were like 7/10's in terms of overall quality. Smell and taste like actual berries. Got a really good yield from the 4th one below although it was the first harvested and all but one picture from after the chop got deleted but it produced 140g of good bud. The other ones yielded between 56-82 gs which I think is closer of the average on this strain. I already dropped a few more seeds the colors are very attractive and it's a crowd favorite.
Night time smoke, beautiful colors, easy to grow would recommend to everyone to try atleast once. The smell and colors are ridiculous. Already started some more.
@Darkmanx, it really doesn't affect the smell or anything the terps are not water soluble so the water just bounces off. I've done side by side and saw no noticeable difference. It's not always necessary to do it but it only takes a few mins and doesn't hurt and definitely extends the drying time
@Hawkbo, I somehow missed this comment. Great info. I've heard other write about rinsing harvested buds under room temp water. How does that affect the terpines? The aromatherapy they give off is so relaxing.
Thank you @Darkmanx, I'm not sure I might have gone in to detail in one of the diaries but I dry in a 4x4x8 tent so it's always complete darkness @ 58-61% RH and try to let them dry as slow as possible. The dry tent is in a part of my house that is cold more often than not around 60° F. I rinse all my buds off immediately after the chop with r/o h20 to rinse any debris off and so they will hold onto moisture and lengthen the dry cycle. I cure in glass mason jars that are stored in a light proof bin so no light can't degrade the trichomes. I'll throw in a small hygrometer in a few of the jars and depending on the humidity dictates how often I'll burp them. I try to cure for 2 weeks at a minimum but have had certain strains cure for up to two months or more for personal use and those are usually noticeably smoother especially if I had to do a quicker than normal flush.
Yo home slizzle. What a harvest! 140 grams out of one plant that’s a win in my book any day. Nugs are lookin hella frosty I bet the smoke is good as the colors!
@TeflonDonFarms,thanks bro I still havnt found a better smoke than the Cali snow...stardawg is close I'm gunna try that one again today now that it's been curing for a few days
I have a question for you if you have time time to answer my question I'm sure u cure a lot of green could you tell me me your step by step technique I've been have a lil trouble with that part of the process with taste
@simps, it depends if I jump the gun and take them off the dry rack too early, if I do I open the jars every day feel the buds and give them some air. Usually I take them down when there pretty dry when the leaves are crispy af so I'll put them in the jar, open it for a minute the next day and then every 3 or 4 days ill check them and make sure too much moisture didnt come back. Sometimes I'll take down some branches when there too wet and some when there too dry on purpose and then mix them together in a jar that seems to get me the best moisture content
I grew some of those (it was my second grow ) totally botched it I was watering with tap water with a ph of 9.0 it was bad but even under these circumstances the small amount of bud I got was very good.
