I was selected by @FASTBUDS to be a tester for some new strains they have coming out and are assigned different numbers with no names yet, This is FF 11 and now the story shall soon start . In the meantime here is a start to a long project for fast buds ff 11, which from this point on shall be known as number eleven for now/ ff 11. not much as put the seed in to root riot and then soaked the root riot cube with clonex and water 1 teaspoon per gal. when I see roots I spray with the same mix. right now I have the lights on 24 hrs to bring heat up in grow tent as it is winter here. the seed is under a sandwich bag with the corner cut off. it is off the floor using plastic. the tent will get warm where I will check on the subject seed in 24hrs. I plan to veg this for 5 weeks as I am understanding this is a female pheno 12/12 seed.
until the sprout comes up the diary will start the clock. The clock has started at almost 4 days we have life.
she popped her shell pretty quick 3 days/72 hrs. good gemination. she was put in a root riot cube that was sprayed with clonex and water 1 teaspoon clonex to water. when she came up I moved the root riot cube to a 6x6x6 rockwool cube that I used the extreme gardening mycos 1 teaspoon. the fastbuds people say this in a indica/sativa with a flower time of 49 days or around 7 weeks so 12 weeks from seed as I am doing a 5 week veg. other wise she seems happy do far.
the tap root started to show on the bottom of the cube, I will give this plant a Christmas present of a fabric grow bag 3 gallons filled with a mix of coco/perlite/and some other stuff I don't recall the name. this will be damped with some mykos extreme gardening. I will focus only on roots right now as this is still young. I have been mostly spraying a mist of clonex and water and I did give the cube maybe a cup of water and clonex. cube is still damp, other wise normal looking so far. I will start using the other 300 watt light here in about a week. then once I flip to 12/12 I will use a 800 watt led from mars hydro but I have a usb plus t5 running vertical once the plants get bigger. I will start that off at a half and hour a day and build that up, for now though I wait.
ok I took some of the bottom branches off and looks like the rest should get better light. I flipped her to 12/12 and now in about a week I should have flower sites. now things are moving along and couldn't move fast enough as I am almost out of my stash. until next week
she is still up and kind of in limbo. she is under the big led 800 watt and has been getting blasted with the uvb light for around an hour a day. waiting for the explosion to happen, so has been a week in 12/12 cycle not much stretching yet she is 22 inches. I have been pinching the top Shute so the sides keep up so I will see. other wise healthy grow so far but only time will tell with the final product.
She is doing good so far I ran out of beastie bloomz so I am using some house and garden stuff. she seems to like it. normal growth but now she focuses on her bud sites. the next few weeks will be fun to watch.
she is up going. she has a good smell and I am watching the trichomes. I found a few amber ones so not worried just yet, but I have started a flush so when her time is up I will be ready or she will be other wise until next week
she has been on a water diet for about 3 weeks. she is in her 42 day of flower and according to fastbuds, she is a 49 day plant, or could be ready depending on your taste and how you like the effects to hit you. I like about 40-50% amber, but I do not mind 20% amber either. I just like to smoke, and do all the fun stuff like making concentrates ect. otherwise she is still up and should be ready soon.
she is done and hanging. she was nice to grow and real fun. she grew strong from the start. she likes to drink every other day. she took to flower real nice. she sticks so watch the smell. she is a good yielder and her buds are sticky and oily. I liked growing this as she reminds me of something real familiar
. she was on her flush for about 4 weeks. so I know she stopped using. more to come when I do a smoke report on the smaller buds.
this grew real strong from the start and was a pleasure to grow as she just has that magic going on.
this has a nice bag appeal depending how you want to trim it.
has a nice fruity kind of thing going on and I would grow this again later. the high is nice and even and is pretty nice to smoke and feel good. you should add this to your line up as it is easy to grow and does not take much effort to keep her going. she gets frosty and sticky and if you wanted to grow her outside I can see a very large yield coming for the hard work. this is tasty and a nice strain to watch grow and later smoke on.
she grew really nice and was a pleasure to grow. she has nice flowers that just make your mouth water. she smokes nice and she could be a big yielder depending on how you want to do it. bigger pot 5 gal, net, tie downs ect. you could make a monster of a plant if you do it right. this was a tester so I wanted to grow it to see if I wanted to get bigger with her. I would say I will grow this again as I had fun. I am happy with the harvest, she gave a little over a ounce, 29 grams. that is trimmed and jarred in the cure as we speak. of course the smoke will get better with a longer cure. I like smoking so it works out for me.
