Alien OG

Start of new diary. Always fun 😊 gone with alien og by Cali connection. Using shogun start, I tryed it on my last grow and had great results faster sprout and just an all round great start for my girls. Ph it to 5.8 and tucked it in a nice bed made from kitchen towels placed in a warm dark place and will just go in every day to keep it moist, should see some shoots in a couple days 3 at the most.

Start of week 2 all going great there in there new beds and getting lots of light and a feed once a day. Looking forward to the grow.

Start of week 3 they still being feed once a day now they on big boy feed, no problems or complaints as of yet, they off to a great start.

Start of week 4, you can see I have heavily defoliated and cut away the bottom 2 branches they tend to be pointless branches that give low yield so going to see if it Benafits me to remove them. No complaints all seems to be moving nicely.

Start of week 5 all seems be be ok. Still on 2 had hour feeds daily. Had a small trim this week, ph is stable and plants have no sign of any problems.

Start of week 1 of bloom. They getting bushy and big atm. No complaints or signs of problems. Will do the last trim next week but for now I flushed the tank and changed the water and changed the light to 12 hours. Left the feed on twice daily. Fingers crossed all looks good.

Start of week 2 of flower, done a defoliate of a lot of the big leafs and she still needs one more I feel but will do that in a weeks time. All shooting up and starting to get going. No signs of any problems so fingers crossed it stays that way lol.

Start of week 3 of flower the plants are stretching nicely and the bud zones are developing on plan. No problems with ph nutrient burn or any thing Else atm. Started using silver bullet this week since I don’t need to use katana roots any more and I have suffered with root problems in the past I decided to give this a go. It protects the root zone from bacteria and turning it into oxogen fingers crossed it helps with the problems I have had in the bloom stage with my root zone. On a side not I m replacing my grow system next gen to a rdwc system it all showed. Today and I can’t wait 😜

Start of week 4 got a new nutradip growboss trimeter to help with monitoring the nutrient uptake, the last couple grows I have noticed I get problems in the bloom phase. So this should help me dial in the nutrients. So far I noticed I m feeding them more then they want. It climbs daily so I drained the res and topped back up with nuts at 1800 es going to see how that goes. But the leafs all perky and happy with me for now lol.

Start of week 5 I have done a complete clean of my tank and refill had some signs of nutri burn early stages so clean and dial back on nutrients. Fingers crossed that solves the problem. Apart from that they have gained size nicely and starting to look sticky. All happy.

Ok start of week 6 of flower. Mad a small booboo yesterday and forgot to put the timer back on for the feed pump so they gone 24 hours with no water. Couple branches got droopy leafs but no harm done just flicked it on for 30 mins and it back to normal times tomorrow. Did a tank clean and refill and apart from my mistake only real problem was start signs of nutri burn so dialled back nuts to 1800 ec will keep an eye but it should be fine.

Start of week 7 of flower. Getting close to harvest couple more weeks I recon. She is smelling lovely and fruity with a woody back note. And putting on size daily , loads of sticky too.

Start of week 8 it’s dragon force week, had some signs of nutri burn but the pull back on nutrients seems to of solved the problem. Tips no worse then they were. If all goes well should see more bud swell this week.

Ok start of week 9 she looking fab loads of milky thx and smells fruity and lush. She on flush now for 5 or 6 days then the chop down next week. Very happy with this grow and she looks fantastic.

All good with the grow no complaints. Grow was on point with no major problems. Yield was good and it smells and tastes great. Now it spends the next 30 days in the cvaults maturing.
