Smoothie Auto - FastBuds

thought id stick along the same lines of the blue cheese but up the strength and add in a bit of fruit. Here we have Smoothie auto which is a cross of Somango and Blueberry i think :o Planted in final container and put straight into the tent :) added some water at ph 6.15. I will update once it sprouts!

Day 19 - 30/12/19 This is the biggest out of all three so far! gonna be a monster when its done haha. Hope you all had a good christmas break! Nothing much to say about these little plants. they are beautiful! and i cant wait for flowering, until next week take care :)

Day 34 - 14/01/20 Smoothie auto is gonna be a hell of a strain! i broke the bottom most branch off as the fan leaf was sticking into the dirt and the sap from inside the branch was just stinking of fruits and skittles basically! All of my plants are basically the same height (46-47cm) even my cayenne pepper plant which is in full flowering and should be ready in about 3 weeks! Day 36 - 16/01/20 Smoothie Auto: This one is a little smaller than the others by 2-6cm. its not a big deal as they are all pretty healthy and in the middle of thier stretching period. i flushed all plants today also. I will update later in the week to show progress! Keep on growing.

Had a bit of nutrient burn nightmare this week haha. i gave a bit more nutes than necessary at a higher strength than normal as they were going into flowering... Bad mistake, i added too much Nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus and calcium. i was definitely too stoned as i know better than to change stuff too quickly - yellowing leaves, brown burnt crispy patches. flushed to try and fix it. il have to be very careful feeding for the next week. Other than that minor issue shes 60cm tall/24inches - 60-80cm is how tall it is supposed to grow according to the website so im fairly on track for my medicine with only a minor setback. Although this is the highest THC plant i have growing right now it is the smallest. not by much. there is a weak smell coming from the plant now, quite similar to the skunk # 1 auto i grew for my first diary only instead of pine it smell pretty fruity. Everything is going well so happy growing until i update next week folks!

Day 50 - 30/01/20 Ive had an issue with the plant not being able to take up nutrients. the leaves went all crispy and yellow last week and some fell off. overall plant health wasnt great. i flushed at the start of last week and fed it once with Canna A, B, Rhizotonic, Calmag and pk13/14. Health improved, and i fed last night with the same. water retention from the biobizz light mix is pretty high so i havent needed to water so much. It looks about 2-3 weeks away from being done so i think il flush in a week or so :) The smell coming from it is pungent and fruity, much like skittles but better. Day 54 - 03/02/20 Smoothie is happy and ive given it its last feed today (Canna Rhizotonic, Cannazym, A, B, Calmag and PK13/14) as it looks more or less ready to me, i have a loupe 30x and 60x but yeah i think i can get good results by eye. 7-10 days of flushing and bringing the lights down from 18/6-12/12 and then i will harvest around week 10/Day 70. Ive been drying a test bud and it looks and smells great! Smell is amazing and id say this will be the best bud i have so far! Day 58 - 07/02/20 About 70% or more pistils are amber and ive harvested the inner stems of the plant yesterday and today and trimmed it all down to individual buds before putting it in the net to dry for a week :) The inner stems had such thick and dense buds on them that it was blocking some light from the buds on the outer stems and preventing them from reaching full maturity. They are now getting all the light they need for a few more days during the flushing week. I will also be reducing the light from 18/6 down to 12/12 this week as its not possible for me to isolate the plants in total darkness for 72h. I was told that no light right before harvest will mean more THC production, any time i knock the lights back before harvest my buds always look frosty and covered in trichomes. I cant wait until i have a smaller veg tent and another tent so i can isolate the plants for the full 72 hours. Anyways i had a little problem over the last 2 weeks with my PH pen being cheap and nasty, it constantly needs calibrated but still its doing a basic job and preventing more serious PH issues until i get a replacement. i also think i might have flushed the plants at that time before calibrating the PH meter and they were not happy about it :) Everything looks okay now in my tent and im just giving this one only Phed tap water until harvest :) I added a few photos of the Cayenne pepper plants harvest, the pepper plant was in one of my older grows i think maybe my first... could be the quick one diary, with minimal care and a little water i grew some monster peppers, i wanted to give them thier own diary but im not sure how GD would react hahah. so i posted them here, These peppers were all grown under the same light in the exact same conditions as i grow my weed with no bugs 🐜 or problems with mould, id strongly reccommend giving it a go and use up that grow space, especially as its bad for the environment to indoor grow! make the most of it folks! Anyways happy medicating for this week and check out my other diaries if you all get time :) Day 60 - 09/02/20 Added a video of a few buds from the inner stems drying on my drying net. I trimmed the fan leaves off and chopped the tips of the sugar leaves which had no trichomes on them. most of the test buds got all the visible stem removed but i left a few of the chunky tops to dry just to see how they turn out. Anyways im going to flush for a few more days before chopping the rest down and getting it ready to dry :) Keep on growing folks!

Day 64 - 13/02/20 Unfortunately ive been sick for the last few days really bad with the flu or something, i dont seem to be coming around yet, il probably be in bed for the next few days also! Ive been sleeping in the same room as my grow tent. normally this is good as the 20c heat helps my muscles and helps me sleep but I have been turning my plant purple over the last few days by having a pretty high day temp of 25-26c and a low night temp of 14-15C with some amazing results! Ill add some pictures later or tomorrow if im feeling up to it but for now ive added a couple of photos of the buds drying. but yeah getting sick to make purple buds?? Il definitely not do this to myself again! Anways i just thought id let you guys know whats going on :) Looks like a 26-32g harvest to me i will say that :) Take care folks and check back soon for a full harvest week!

Week 10: I loved growing this strain, it smelled so fruity while the buds were on the plant. Towards the end of flowering the buds looked sugar dipped as described on the website. The sap from inside the stems smells like skittles and sugar lol which was a nice surprise! Most pistils are Amber so idk what the THC/CBD ratios are going to be. Il give an estimate once buds are cured for 2 weeks or so! So I’ve managed to get some street weed to compare alongside my own weed and I’ve added the pictures to the harvest so you guys can see them. I tried to pick the best street weed from about 4 varieties so here we go... The street weed is called Wedding Cake, my weed is obviously Smoothie and I suppose what I want to know is how the street weed looks, does it look healthy? Any guesses as to how it was dried or cured if even? The first noticeable thing is that the street weed stems are huge and the sugar leaves seem to be left on the plant to dry too. Although I did leave sugar leaves on this time I feel that it’s not very professional. I have smoked a joint of the wedding cake and it’s not all that great, feel a bit sedated/couch locked but not high or happy if you know what I mean :) but yeah please let me know what you think in the comments :) Curing Update: (1) Been curing for a week and buds are definitely smoking much better now, the taste and burn still isn’t amazing as it needs a few more weeks curing but it’s unique and exotic. It’s very strong when it comes to THC, because it still needs further curing you could smoke a whole joint and think damn that’s still too fresh to get me blazed. By the end of the joint you would be struggling to keep a conversation or stand up, Stoned eyes that even eye drops won’t cure :’D and it’s also a real head high in my opinion, audio/visuals definitely enhanced too, everything is extremely bright, sharp and sounds great! I don’t really care about time of day smoke as i could need something stronger at different times for pain etc but this is definitely a Nighttime smoke, it hits so hard that the best thing you can do is put on some music and close your eyes or watch a movie. An amazing strain for zoning out entirely into some chill music and if you need weed to deal with strong physical or mental pain or sleep problems then I would recommend giving this a go as so far it has been a lifesaver for me. Curing Update: (2) So I think the buds have been curing for just over 2 weeks now and they are looking great and smoking pretty well too. A few more days drying wouldn’t have hurt them but I’m not worried as my Blue Cheese and Pineapple Express harvests are just around the corner! I added some lovely photos and a video to show you guys how it looks And I’m just about to blaze up a joint from the last photo and tell you all how it smokes too... (Lights up joint) Slightly damp on lighting it up although it burns near perfect. Instant hit on the back of the throat with smooth/mango flavors. I feel a bit dizzy quite quickly and want to sit down and listen to music after a few tokes followed by a relaxed or mellow feeling. I’m about halfway through the joint now and I’m pretty stoned. Definitely sweet and smooth like blueberry also sherbet sweet like mango! I’m almost finished my joint now and I suppose to sum up I’d say that it’s much like the blueberry smoothness you expect mixed with the strength from a well grown mango. I felt that the effects are great if your in a nice comfortable setting, get relaxed, be creative, watch a movie or even get ready to sleep. I would avoid anything that requires a lot of effort. Personally I’ve had minimal problems with getting to sleep and with anxiety while taking this throughout the day and would highly recommend it! It’s the best thing I’ve grown so far :) Il leave a final review on the buds in 2 weeks, until then take care and happy growing! Curing Update (3) - 05/03/20 So I’ve finished the smoothie buds and I have to say they were great. The only negative was it’s my first time drying buds with trim and they could have done with a little longer drying. I made some canna butter from 3G of trim and 2.25g of bud. I made ginger cupcakes with salted caramel icing. You guys can see it cause I added a photo. I can only eat 2 per day with a heavy tolerance - sedative cupcakes hahah.
