hey guys start of my first diaries, multi strain.
i started out as any eager newbie, and planted myself 3 gorilla zkittlez 1 lemon haze and 1 green crack.
all of them straight into root riot cubes in a propagator with cheap 600w blurple light.
cube got 1 spray on each edge with normal water, and prays in the propagator to keep moist, roughly 4 times a day.
Green crack shown first, approx 36 hours after going into cube.
Gorilla z 1 and 2 weren't far behind approx 48 hours.
which left me waiting on the lemon haze. i waited four days, with no signs of life, i removed the little bit of sponge i covered the seed in. Couldn't see no signs of anything happened.
i hadn't read about it before this point, but from what i know now, believe the seed hadn't matured yet. Tried the paper towel method, to no avail.
The third gorilla i couldn't get started either.
i must admit though, environment was up and down all over the place first few days.
After a Poorish start, with 3/5 germination, i already thought i was going to be having major problems.
I had Auto seeds aswell, and being over eager, ad not wanting some more fails i planted them all.
4 x strawberry gum advanced seeds
4 pineapple glue advanced seeds
1 x jack herer auto zamnesia seeds.
all straight in root riot cubes again, keeping the cubes moist and propagator sprayed.
the 2 gorillas and GC were potted up into 1l pot.
first soil mix was 8/2 canna terra pro and perlite
Unlike the start of my diary, the autos were all keen as larry to see the light of day, all 9 had popped with 48 hours.
This i was not expecting >.< armature move knowing going forward their was going to have to be sacrifices made.
Either way i had to let them all have a chance at success, i potted 1 pineapple, 1 strawberry and jack herer in 11l plastic pots, only about 9l full what a rookie maneuver that was, feeding is a right pain in the a**. all the others went into 10l fabric pots, approx 8l full >.< although as i was potting up, one of the pineapple tap roots was rather brown under the root riot cube. first sacrifice was made!
the mix for the potting up was 8/3/2.
The gorilla and GC were coming along lovely, untill i learned that GC was a sativa! i ad started abit of LST with the stem of the gorillas, oh and from what i gather now, an unsuccessful Fim
Athough she looked as healthy as anything, i decided i had to get rid of GC before she was too beautiful to sacrifice!
Towards the end of the week, the gorillas were potted into 8l pot, with 8/3/2 ix again. this time, great white fungi was added under the root ball.
500ml 1.2ml root stim for the gorilla
1.2l 3ml root stim autos
during this week, i had a 315 cmh light arrive, and installed! in a 1.2 grow tent.
yes the light is too small, tent to big. I am going to work with it for this grow then decide what i sort next. new light, slightly smaller tent, thinking the latter ATM
a little late starting the diary.
we have 1 straw berry 1 pineapple and jack auto all in 11l pots, approx 9l soil.
currently being fed 8ml rootstim .4 grow in 1.6l water.
we have 1 strawberry and 1 pineapple in 10l fabric ots with approx 9lsoil
2 gorilla zkittlez in 11ll pots, 4th week veg, will be looking to pot u to 15l end of the week.
being in different pots and different stages, they get fed at different times, the autos are all being fed the same amount atm, till i see deficiencies.
so are both gorillas.
1.5l water 6 ml root stim auto
1.5l water 7 ml root stim fems.
i didn't use as much of the root stim as i could of, but they seemed to have used what was needed.
BTW thanks all for reading up this point, this diary has been created from memory and my paper notes over he last 4 weeks. hopefully can get some more details n as i update the diary weekly!
hey guys, lets throw a update in, see where were at.
all the autos are currently being fed with 1.6l water, 1ml grow. running low on root stim, keeping it for the gorillas atm.
i have 1 strawberry and 1 pineapple in the plastic pots, and the leaves are start to produce a nice sweet smell if you rub them.
the strawberry in plastic pot had a little algae looking on top of stones, will rotate the pots around more, was the furthest from light and oscillating fan.
they could do wth some LST, but i didnt prep the pots properly. just going to let them do their thing.
preflowers are coming along nicely now.
my two gorilla zkittlez have been repotted into 20l fabric pots. they were in 11l pots, but only about 9l of soil, they are now full. thinking of switching to 12/12 in about two weeks now, any thoughts?
one rootball seemed stronger, but wanted to o them at the same time still.
the gorrilas are having .5 grow in 2l, with 8 ml root stim.
