@DinafemSeeds, :) BUD EXPLOSION! :) She has nice height and I love her structure. Nice genes! Hopes for trichome loaded, like I had on my first Amnesia XXL by Dinafem grow. Cheers!
Hey,
I have just started amnesia and Mobydick after killing 3 Mobydick by over watering and PH issues. I am using same led lights in same 1000w and trying to grow in dwc. Can you please suggest whether to use Veg & bloom or Stronger mode in the philzon cob cree. Also can you suggest temperature and humidity for seedlings and veg.
Thank you
@cloudmafia, Hey! I use 3 thermometers. One is hanging from my light to check the canopy of my plant(s), one on the floor of the tent and one in a pot. I gauge how far to move the light depending on the canopy temperature. My temp, right now, averages around 24.5-26C Phlizon manufacturer recommends 24" from plant canopy on this light.
Your humidity, temp and light distance sounds great. My knowledge is under a year of growing. I don't know much. I can say to watch for signs of over and under watering, fungus, nutrient and light burn, and the wrong PH during watering/feedings. You want an environment where your medium/soil is in balance for nutrient uptake. I don't think your issue is light burn, considering all the info you have given. Though, I would not rule out possible heat spikes. Also, runoff can contain salts and other trace deposits that alter the PH. If water runoff is not drained and dumped out, this could cause issues. Not usually a problem until one needs to flush their medium.
Sorry to hear about your experiences. Good luck with your new plants! It takes mistakes and lots of reading to learn what plants are telling us. :) Last time I grew this strain, my first grow, I was using a PH that was too low. She still turned out really well. Dinafem's Amnesia XXL strain is really resilient. It is the most resilient that I have grown out of 6 diff strain.
@Solarcradle,Thanks for the reply. Yes, Im trying to grow Autoflowers by Dinafem. Dinafem seeds Germination is always 100% but then later I messed up with light/water/fan/temperatures.
Do you check leaf surface temperatures? I check and try to keep it under 25 degrees celsius (77-78f).
Is it safe to keep lights 22-24 inch from the top of the plant? I have killed two more seedlings, fan broke 1 seedling stem and other one didn't grow after day 1 (after coming out of soil), It was healthy at day 1 then stems changed color and looked darker then slowly died.
Again started germination process Amnesia/Mobydick Auto by dinafem.
Please share some advice to prevent killing plants over and over. ๐
Humidity stays herr 50-75% all the year.
@cloudmafia, Are you growing autoflowers? I like to keep my temperature around 22-26C. Celsius with both veg and bloom lights on through germination to flower. Around week 2 - I have shut the cob lights off for a few days, trying to get some stretch out of my autoflowers. During seedlings, I have read they like anywhere from 60-80% and veg around 50-70% humidity. It also depends on the strain you're growing. I grew my last plants during winter at a lower humidity, around 35-42%. Spray misting the area around the pot now and again helps.
You've got a ton of budsites starting to show my friend ๐ค
Things are about to get interesting in here and fast ๐
Please keep the diary update coming ๐
