What's a guy to do, but grow his favourite weed again?! I grew 1 round of 8BK, then cloned another round off that. Currently flowering some GSC, and now I'm starting a whole new generation of 8BK from seed!
Hempy perlite buckets, growing under a 40W desk lamp until the GSC finishes flowering and I can move them into the tent. It will take a while for them to start really growing, probably 2 more weeks -- partly because they're under a desk lamp.
I soaked the seeds in water for 8 hours before they both sank to the bottom of the cup. I then planted them before they popped open, and covered with foil to block light. After about 24 hours they were coming up, so I removed the foil and put them under the desk lamp.
For the first week, I sprinkled pH-adjusted bottle spring water on them twice a day. Today I did full 1 gallon waterings on each bucket with 1/8 tsp Maxibloom and 1/4 tsp CaliMagic in each 1 gallon jug.
I am in Canada, so the jugs are technically 4 Liters, but in order to keep it simple I just call them a gallon and then I'm watering with "1 unit" per plant every day instead of 4 -- just makes for easier math and tracking.
Off we go!
You are the 8 ball kush master! They look perfect. I would say let it run late and harvest at the same time. It looks like this round has the potential to get fatter buds.
@Wicked_Stix, thanks! The clones are lookin nice too, over in their own diary now :P Both clones of plant A, I want the phenotype. May follow your method for making seeds toward the end of summer! Can you do the colloidal silver thing with clones?
@Wicked_Stix, I made them without cannabis, and they tasted great! Shared with the kids and they loved them too. But man, the minute you add cannabis, they taste like total shit. I can't even bring myself to eat them as they make me want to barf and then the after taste lingers :/ so I put them in the deep freeze and am saving them for when I don't have anything else.
@Wicked_Stix thanks,it blows my mind that I can grow them under an LED desk lamp that consumes 13 watts (for the equivalent of a 40 watt incandescent output). LOL. I can tell they are ready to explode in growth though as soon as they go into the tent -- it'll be like 2 weeks in the tent and they will be filled out / ready to flower :P
