Another week and all going really well. My replacement nutes came in the nick of time. Budโ€™s fattening right up. Keeping eye on them with a usb-microscope, will post a few photos later in the week. My fear now is that I either flush too soon, or too late ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

One of my saplings donโ€™t seem to be going as good as other one. Has a pale green on the start of leaves, other doesnโ€™t. Humidity very low at 40%, could this be reason?

Highroller mentioned humidity not being an issue here but I can tell you from my experience it is very important in the first 3 weeks. Can mean life or death! What I do and works wonders is to cut the top of a 2litre plastic bottle and use this as a cover (dome ) for the young plant, spray the inside daily with water and this will raise the humidity of that plant to70%+ this is so Beneficial as the plant is not using its roots right now so you can prevent overwatering from just absorbsion through the leaves, hope this helps because trust me it really does! ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜

Seed 1 is suffering and both plants probably stunted. Should I let these dry up then give a full dose (canna schedule) of coco ab and some cal mag?? Thanks in advance ๐Ÿ‘

The 1st thing you have to do is correct your PH value because in coco the sweet spot is 5.8 and you can go up to 6 but you are at 6.5 since week 2. Cannabis is not very tolerant to ph issues in coco ( check the ph runoff ) The 2nd thing you need to do is to get a ppm/Ec pen to know the exact nutrient amount you are using for your feeding ( input ) and the runoff ( output) because it will also tell you if there is too much or not enough nutrient in the coco. If you are able to check and control these 2 values you can makes them bounce back if you don't forget to add cal mag with every feeding.

Have to take into flower soon as away end of June. In a week plan to give 72hrs of dark then 12/12 schedule. Question is as these are so stubby, am I looking at potential problems in flower that i should be aware of? Cheers ๐Ÿ‘

@havingago Hi mate you will be surprised at how much growth they put on after the flip to 12/12 . More than likely double the size or possibly more

Hi all. Very much a newbie question so apologies for poor knowledge. Just stared 4th week of flower and opened the tent to see the leaves on one of the plants developing white hairs. Is this ok? Or something to be concerned about? Many thanks. ๐Ÿ‘

I think this has to be a troll right? xDD BUT JIC it isn't: Those are the trichomes that contains all the cannabinoids. You should read atleast this https://www.leafly.com/news/cannabis-101/what-are-trichomes-on-cannabis. I can also highly recommend growweedeasy.com and the best for last. Really thorough but easy to approach book is Ryan Riley's Growing Elite Marijuana. You should learn all that you need to get started and more! Happy growing, may the yield be good! ๐Ÿ’ช

Noticed the sugar leaves on bud leaves are also yellow. My understanding is this can have a big effect on final yield?? Flushed the gal but as no amber trichomes yet and want 20%, should keep flushing now on or resume feeding till some amber??? Cheers

Many thanks all. Will continue to flush plant 2, hopefully has enough in it to get to the end, lighter feed to P1. Also ordered some GHE Ripen so will have that to fall back on. The light was 10โ€ but lifted 1โ€ a week ago as max I could go due the height constraints, but from your comments have modified my drain stand (not sure neighbours happy about the drilling at 6am๐Ÿ˜ณ) so they now sitting at 14โ€ so happy days. Like said, hopefully they will now Ripen in peaceful ๐Ÿ‘ Learning all the way so cheers all ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Looking great! If you're worried about flushing, Ed Rosenthal usually recommends 15 days of flush, so how many weeks do you think you have left based on the trichomes? Are they bulbous yet? Cloudy?
Havingago
Havingagocommented5 years ago
@Razzz, Hi there. Have added a few photos. Tricomes still mostly clear. Think have min 2-3 weeks before think about starting to flush. Cheers ๐Ÿ‘

Happy growing. I'm running some of the WWxBB as well, although mine were started later than the rest of my crop so they are smaller than the others.

You did a lot of training on them and that will pay out in flower. Your Plants have agood base structure. IN flower they will double their size at least. But i see no advantage for them putting them into 72 hours of darkness. Just go on. jhappy growing

Good luck with your grow bro, Little tip on fast growth. early stages only mist. less water is more. gives the roots oxygenation and a chance to go hunting for moister. just check out some of my day 17 journal's. . looking healthy, dont feed until atleast 3 nodes. a lil seaweed extract helps. less is more. and yes keep up that himidity just make sure not to weaken stems to much. much love.
