My plan for this plant is to veg for about 2 weeks under mh and then switch to flower under hps for week 3. I am using a limited amount of living soil and I want the plant to complete its life cycle without requiring any additives. I will probably mess around a bit with some organic inputs during this grow though anyway ( korean natural farming, and also probably compost teas).
Day 5: trying out some natural farming inputs. Fed with diatomaceous earth and fermented plant juice.
Day 6: finally got some clover seeds to create a green mulch to protect the soil
Day 8: fed a little sprouted alfalfa seed tea
Day 9: clover ground cover is starting to sprout
Day 12: watered with a bit of diatomaceous earth and lactic acid bacteria
Day 57: the soil ph is a little high so I flushed with a lower ph of water
Day 60: these are going to be chunky buds for sur and they've developed a really strong black pepper smell.
Day 81: buds are getting pretty chubby. Harvest maybe in a week. Maybe 2 weeks. Very happy with how this grow is going.
Day 87: I have this plant vented outside and its stinking up the whole neighborhood. Its incredibly overpowering, can't wait to smoke this mama.
I simply can not do this plant justice with words. It took everything I had to throw at it, no issues. Just perfect. Perfect health, color, size, bud density, trichome development, and the smell.... to die for🤗 while it is growing, it smells like black pepper up close, outside where the vent is it was like a skunk just sprayed, on the other side of the block where I live it smelled like there was a skunk in the neighbourhood. Now that its dry and starting to cure, the creamy sweetness of the cookies is starting to come out. The buds are big, glistening, sticky and they are calling my name. I cannot wait to light this up🔥
Well two weeks in the jar and I had to give this a try. The buds have taken on that signature cookies smell and I feel like I'm getting a bit of like a menthol along with it. The smoke was very heavy and still a little on the harsh side( further curing needed) I smoked a little more than I usually would and I don't think it was really necessary. This stuff is pretty potent. Very heavy stoned feeling, mind wandering, introspective and euphoric. Not couch locked at first, but after about an hour, good luck getting up. Very happy with this seed overall, my favourite grow experience so far.
Week 1-3 250watt metal halide
Week 4-13 250 watt hps
5 gallon living soil in fabric pot
Red clover living green mulch
Alfalfa sprouted seed tea (seedling stage)
Spinach fermented plant juice ( during vegetative)
Calcium phosphate from charred bones ( added during transition to flower)
Lacto bacillus (once every 4 weeks)
Fermented fish amino acids (during early flower)
Top dressed with gaia green powerbloom. (Early flower)
I decided to top this plant really last minute 10 days in to flower( yeah I know, probably not the best idea) and it didn't even phase this girl at all.
What I learned this grow:
Some plants smell more than others( by a lot). Use a filter even when venting outside.
The Green mulch was nice until I wanted to top dress. Need to find another form of mulch that I can move.
Lay off all the additives a bit. Not sure if any of the things I added really did anything but I like to experiment, and she took it well.
I will definately be growing this sexy little plant again💚
@Visions, I'm sooo looking forward to smoking this one. By far the most beautiful, smelly plant I've grown so far. And for the small size she is I think it will be a pretty good yield. Only gg4 has compared in density.
